Senevar Joining

The wingless, leopard-spotted gryphon trekked into the fertile territory deep within the dense forest growth. The air was sweet with the combined odors of raptors and felines, and a mystic aura seemed to rain down with the endless cries of falcons that rang through the living trees. 
 
He stretched his gaunt body which shifted slightly in color to blend with the abundance of greens and browns and shadowy greys that danced about the forest floor, looking up to see golden eyries filled with treasures and young. A grimace crossed his sharp ebon beak. 
 
This was his home now, or so he felt--and he couldn't have asked for better.

A deep throated shriek hit the air and tuffed ears twitched. They listened to an echo bounce back. 
<Alright!> shouted a voice, its owner perched in a branch. Limes were smiling.

The raven-headed leopard looked up and stretched his raptor-bill into a grin when he saw a familiar sight: red feathers, tufted ears, glowing eyes. 
 
Greetings, Blazy! he called to her, then bobbed his head in a bow.

Blazy gave a bow of her red-orange beak. Hopping from the branch she landed softly with a slight flare of wings.

Alastor was gliding through the air playfully. he was doing helixes, spins,twirls and nearly flew into a tree. he dug his claws into the tree and stopped. He looked down at the two gryphons and was surprised at the fact of a gryphon with no wings. 
 
~Heh heh.. You didn't see that did you... uhh.. I was just.. practicing. Well... Its nice to see another phoegyph around here. But i have never seen a Gryphon such as you.. You.. Have no wings. What bird side did you get? ostrich? kiwi? Some other flightless bird? Sorry about trailing on and on but I'm a bit hyper at the moment!~ 
 
Alastor struggled to get his talons out of the tree and pulled so hard that he sent himself flying to the ground and rolled down the grass and in from of the two gryphons.

Aye, considering joining the 'little group', anyway, he said with a huff, then rolled his bronze eyes up to the canopied heavens. 
 
A gryphon was twisting and turning his golden-red body as he glided about in what might have passed for either a mid-air seizure or a beautiful dance. Senevar could not tell. 
 
He glanced back to Blazy and turned his head in question, the young phoegryph's feathers shining with the same burning color as her older counterpart. 
 
Is he a relative of yours? Or just one of a similar race? he inquired chatily. He had never known a phoegryph until he moved to this enchanted forest, and now he had seen two--or at least two similarly bizarre creatures. It was only logical in his mind that the two should be related.

Blazy watched Ally with a raised brow. Shaking her head at Senevar's question she answered,<Similar.> she said simplily limes on the other firegriff. 
 
Taking a step that sent the two feathers on her hips a sway. the flame on her back flickering.

Tell me, Blazy, Senevar said chattily, looking up to Ally. Where might I gain acceptance into your pride? They don't seem to so much mind that I've intruded upon their land...

Blazy shook her head,<Not my pride.> she said clicking her redish beak,<I'm just here cuase of the adults. They get busy and such with 'work'. So, I wonder aimlessly and get yelled at or wonder around here saying hi.> 
 
Twitching her fire tuffed ears she continued,<You have to talk to Flacove or his mate Cher.> her limes looked around a bit,<They've been kind of busy of the late though...>

A harmonous but creepy howling screach was heard echoing from the distance. Blazy would recognize it and know who owned it, but it was one of Falcove's battle cries and terrifying nevertheless. He had been training by himself and used the cry at the end. The large male knew the new comer had entered and took to the trees, leaping from one to another easily. 
 
His wolf ears listen for them though his mind already knows their positions. He stops swiftly in a tree close to them shrouded in shadow. Crouching slightly he leaps from the tree and lands next to his pupil, entire action easy grace despite him being the size of a Shire Draft Horse. Silver eyes look over the new comer for a second then his peregrin head turns and drops to Blazy giving her a friendly nuzzle. His fire ball flickering on the end of his tail as he wags it softly. 
 
Raising his head again, looking to the new comer he bows it in greetings. "Hello, I am Falcove, who might you be??"
