Road Trip 2013

In a little over a week, Windra will be packing a suitcase and leaving the state of New Jersey!

Yep. We're driving. Mom found a place to live in Lodi, CA. So we'll be hitting the road together, venturing across the great big US. This thread will e here to not only keep everybody updated, but to hare the photographic spoils of the trip. I plan on taking many, many pictures. =D

It's not for a big, though. I have some time. So just sit tight!

Originally, we were gonna leave on the 6th, but pushed to the morning of the 7th.

Game Plan:
November 5th: Say goodbye to everybody at the academy. Go to the firehouse and hang out there for the evening. Also, drinking will occur. xD (I kind of dare somebody to call me that night, because I'm an incredibly aloof person when under the influence, and will make you laugh. Yes, I do drink. No, I only do so every few months, and only socially.)
November 6th: Drive north to visit my brother, his wife, and my nephew. Spend the day with them.
November 7th: Hit the road bright and early!

I got spooked of the concept of driving. Bad feeling.

So, checked a plane. I'm booked for a coach ... like a snazzy pop star. xD

In just a few short hours ...

I'm making up for lost time trying to catch up on Academy work so that I have a decent amount of experience under my belt. As such, I've been looming around the firehouse for long hours these past few days, and catching every fire call I can.

HAZMAT class is a snoozefest. There is no doubt.

Today is the day!

Tuesday was a riot. A lot of fun. And getting picked on. Back when I first joined, one of the guys had taken me for a pizza outing. Really I thought it was just a fun time. Evidently the guy had been bragging about taking me on a date. XD

Staying with my bro right now, taking a bus to the airport in less than seven hours.
