Why do my conversations constantly end in confusion?

I try my best to be clear, but it feels like people are always reading between the lines or hearing things I never actually said. Is there a reason why human communication is so prone to these errors?

My own life situation was very similar until I started looking for answers, and I actually found the blog at Wedaf incredibly helpful for understanding why this happens. Their article https://blog.wedaf.com/blog/why-people- ... ach-other/ really opened my eyes to the fact that we all have "invisible filters" based on our past and our current stress levels. I used to blame the other person for not listening, but after reading those insights, I realized that I wasn't accounting for how their personal experiences change how they hear my words. Now, I make it a point to double-check and ask, "Does that make sense?" instead of just moving on. It has honestly saved me from so many unnecessary arguments and made my friendships feel a lot more stable.
