Hey ho, look lo!

I play Khalis Draygon on this board. My real name is Keaton Lindsay, I am the living brotherly spawn of Barbannis (1 of his 3 brothers).
I live in Sydney, Australia, in the big smoke trying to chase my hopes of getting into Acting, whether it be screen or on stage, I enjoy both.

I am 20 years old this year, spending the first birthday of my life away from all of my family members, all grown up hey?

I am an amateur artist, these days usually just sketching about with silly cartoons with the occasional detailed pic, I can't colour on computer, I just cant grasp it, so I use pencils, "I know I'm not supposed to go outside the line, but I do anyways because I like being my self" (Family Guy quote).
I enjoy stage performance, having been in afew in my time, and I even like musicals, not having the GREATEST singing voice, but I can manage sometimes : D
I have RPed on an off over the years, seemingly starting around about the same time my brother did when we first were introduced to the fab that is the 'lol-internet', I enjoy problem solving games but was recently drawn into that fecking WoW thing, HACK AND SLASH BE DEAD!!!!
Better than diablo 1 I guess.... you click it dies... more than just 3 buttons... HOORAH! MY SKILLS BE FEARED!

I love music, currently learning keyboard and accoustic guitar, I however want to learn the violin, more specifially the Irish Fiddle. I am Irish at heart, knowing that some portion of my family long ago did originate from the great green plains. I celebrate my irish pride with the DRINK! ... I drink whiskey and rum

but shhhhhh.

I THRIVE ON ABSURDISM! it is my favorite style of theatre, and greatly follow the works of Tom Stoppard and Douglas Adams (even though he wasn't a playwright : D )

Been rping for around four or five years. The creative freedom at UV is it's biggest attraction, for me. I love boards like this! So. Awesome. My interests include: paranormal investigating (amateur of course, I can't afford a buttload of fancy equipment), jelly fish, comic books (not just for little kids! >O), murder mysteries and detective stuff. Accordingly, two of my favourite authors are Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

I'm really fascinated in 1920's America, I think it would be so cool to be able to travel back to like Chicago or New York during that era as an invisible bystander for a few days and just...observe.

That's in part why Loch looks the way he does half the time. Also, conspiracy theories. And legends like the chupacabra and cattle mutilations and sasquatch annnnndd alien/government dealings? Oh yeah. I'm all into that. Also! parrots, fencing, lava lamps, film noir...the list goes on.

Wellllp. That's about everything you probably want to know. xD;; I look forward to having some good times here!

Hi, I'm Ithildae. I just stayed up late to nearly finish a big ol' character sheet for this place, and then I looked at it and went "you know I'm not sure if I really want to use that char here." *facepalm*

Oh who am I kidding I would have stayed up late anyway. I'm going to feel like I've been peeled off the bottom of a shoe tomorrow! Yay! I'm procrastinating, because I need to go out and throw more hay for my horse but it's cold and late at night. Any minute now I'm going to get out of this chair. ANY MINUTE.

I don't have an awful lot of time or headspace so although I'm not a bad RPer as far as I know I can't say I'll be a great one. And though I won't disappear and I will get posts out regularly, once a day is my max and realistically it will be less than that. I don't want to guarentee anything. It'll be once a week minimum anyway. Also I'm a concise writer

Don't get me wrong, I totally get into describing for my reader, I just do it concisely =P And I seldom share what my characters are thinking. If you like reading long novels of posts stay away from me! I don't have any ability to pad things out, really. I just hate doing it so much. You'll know if I'm padding to make a paragraph because it'll be like ... the clouds tumbled above them casting long shadows across the ground and the wind tugged at their oh god kill me now spider spiders the grass

SO NOW YOU'RE WARNED. I also use capslock sometimes OOC as you see. And I'm really longwinded OOC too. And tend to talk a lot, have I mentioned that? Now is your chance to run me off with pitchforks before I get my feet in =D

Very few people have similar writing/RP styles here really, so you'll fit right in by not fitting in, oh yeah ^_~

And funny, I can't stop sharing what my characters are thinking, even when I don't want people to know what they're thinking. Compulsive thought writing

xD Hi!! Oh man I was kind of cracked out last night xD I was going on to Roose about the location of the reply button, the poor thing ... I'm glad to know I won't be the odd one out with my writing, anyway!

Hee, funny thing is I used to write thoughts/inner reasoning etc in posts all the time, but I've really gotten out of the habit now. Although actually I do still write surface thoughts ... so I tell a lie, I do write thoughts! It's just "I'm gonna die!" or "he needed butter for the soup" or "perhaps it was a reflection of his state of mind, but the clouds looked unnervingly obscene" more than "privately, Fluffy was thinking Snuggles was an idiot" or "Snuggles had coveted dryer lint every since he was a child, and now he carried it around in a small backpack"

... well okay, I'd love to put that last thing in a post xD

My name's Kim, I'm fifteen years old and I live in Newfoundland. Points to whoever knows where that is. XD

So, about myself... Well, I'm a Doctor Who fan, I listen to power metal and symphonic rock, although I'm pretty sure they're the same thing. Favorite genre of pretty much anything narrative is steampunk or science fiction, and some fantasy. I'm friends with Mike (Rito) and Addy (Adavardes, of course) here, and possibly more of you, but I dunno because I haven't been here long enough to see anyone else.

As far as hobbies go; writing, drawing, RPing with friends, and some other stuff that doesn't come to mind right now. XD

So... yeah.
