Grey and Gloom? Well, okay... a cowardly, scheming egomaniac and a brash, panvorous egomaniac might not be the best fit, but -

OH! Devon and Entropy! Yeah, that one's out in left field :P

As for romances I recall... umm... Silvertone Bluenote and Barbanis Wolf? Naira and Juno? Melody and Umber? Bast and Smokey? Ummm... Raphus and Juno? ;)

Wait, Naira and Juno's actually a thing? I thought Norad was just spewing angry ranting sillyness. xD

The_Vizir wrote:*NOTE TO SELF:* Create a Christmas comic this year involving Devon, Entropy, a romantic date - and two closet monsters ruining everything when the stars chorus is right.
That is in the neighborhood of BEST PLAN. ^__^
*SECOND NOTE:* Need to make a Rita Repusla 'It's time to conquer Earth' GIF.
... This is slightly lower on the totem pole, but still in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is on Mixed Metaphors Blvd.

In fairness, unless I misremember, Juno and Naira might just be (or might just have been?) in "Unresolved Romantic Tension Land." But hey, plenty of ways to go and/or for my brain to get such a thing wrong. :p Could see the relationship making sense, certainly.

The Crack Pairing that is Devon x Entropy is not Forest!canon, but is Chat!canon. Also VWO!canon.* :P Ha ha, is two more than canon!canon! So make of that what you will.

* Which... I need to get back to. ^_^o Sorry, Lux.

Gloom and Grey is kind of like a sustained fusion reaction that generates adorableness and also some fear. So, they get a :thumbsup .

Pretty sure its still unresolved, yes. xD

I remember Loki having the one Gryphon character. Cheyenne, I think it was? She and her mate were the leaders of the Gryphon pride. And then there was Hallok and (Anita?) leading the dragons.

Well it's considered dead as far as Juno's concerned. Two years after six months of adventure. It's in that awkward "Oh hey..." phase. I think. Let me ask my muse.

"More of a 'currently on hold till we fix the forest' bit."

"More of a there's a big grey field of what happened in two years and there's the possibility to create great drama with the whole 'You were gone!' bit"

"See this is why the RPer shouldn't read these musings! He gets ideas and then that tension will never be resolved and then it'll just be FEELINGS and AWKWARD. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a ploy to start up another war."

"That's exactly what she's doing. Then again a forbidden race of undead immortals springing up would be-"

"WE ARE NOT HAVING THIS CONVERSATION RIGHT NOW. I REFUSE TO GO TWILIGHT."

"Oh come on! There have been hints about you two possibly canoodling, remember the lake in the JT?"

"LA-LA-LA-LA-LA! I CAN'T HEAR YOU! LA-LA-LA-LA-LA!"

Long story short. Thanks Sky. I'm going to fiddle with the whole "We never did figure out what happened with the horsement/Juno during those two years" angle. After things get settled in the main plot.

OOC moment about Norad. Take it as you wish.

"Man this guy is boring. 'Radio Nowhere' as his theme song!? What kinda music does he listen to?"

"Both kinds! Country and Western."

Naira still carries a torch for him, but with the events within the past two years taking priority, it's basically been put on the back-burner. Still has the potential to re-ignite if prompted, though.

Ew ... western.

Job's been boosting Christmas-themed music for the past few weeks. I'm going to go shoot myself now.

Yeah, we play maybe five different Christmas songs. Yet we have about 13 tracks. The reason?

Half of the songs are rehashed by other artists ...

It gets very annoying.

I know, I have the same hatred for Sinterklaas songs, there's only a dozen or so traditional songs and they play just a few of those in stores. Thankfully that ends on December 5th, and then the Christmas songs start! (Ok, they start earlier, but radio stations and stores show a little restraint till December 6th, heh heh) There are so many Christmas songs so we hear a lot.

Of course this is coming from a customer who has never worked in a store :p On the airplane however they had boarding and landing music....so much hatred for that. Just one CD, and a kind of jazz you either like or wish to kill. Not to mention the songs had horrible lyrics. When landing the first song to play would start off with "The one you know is about to die"...awesome lyrics, great message to the passengers, yes.

Christmas songs are awesome.
