The white pup was now getting bored with adult talk. Tailing wagging softly at Cortina to let her know he was okay, he trotted into the woods for some hunting at night. The only way he was going to get better was by practice.

The pup tried to put on a fake frown, though it lasted only a few moments. "Ahh, and I was hoping for an easy meal too. Not this time though. And thanks, I guess for the invite." 
 
Well, the position as part of the pack was opened to him. But he was a loner, he knew that. He looked around once more at the pack, taking in it's size. "Nice size pack, Umber." 
 
Cortina felt Karma's tail next to her and heard him leave. She got up and thought about going as well. She walked up to Umber and nuzzled him gently. "Is it okay if I go see into the forest, Umber?"

Umber frowned at Karma as the pup ran off. He wasn't as close to him as he was to Cortina, but he still cared about the pup's safety. It was why he had gone after him in the first place. Yet he seemed to be in a better mind now so the big wolf let him go without a word. He was about to say something bck to Devil when he felt Cortina andlooked down at her. 
 
Nuzzling her between her ears he gave a small nod at the same time so she could feel it. "Alright, be careful though, call me if you need me." He sounded neutral enough, but he was a bit worried about her going off. He knew she could probably sense that, but he figured it was probably a good thing if she knew his concern about her. 
 
Finally he was able to turn back to Devil. "Thanks, pal, did it all myself," he answered sarcastically, yet with a small grin. "The pack I was born to is much bigger though. Maybe a bit too big, it tends to get crowded quickly there." Umber looked over his shoulder to Melody. She was quiet after her song and he wanted to see if she had gone back inside the den.

Karma shivered from inside the crystal and didn't reply, choosing instead to curl into a tiny ball. His fur was gone, he was burnt, tired and scared. He'd had enough. No one was going to make him talk anymore. He was done. 
 
"Umber, I tried to stop him...but he made me...." He behind to whine from inside the crystal.

Ganondorf entered the area with his usual march-like step. His right hand was still bleeding from a bite of a wolf, while his left hand carried a rediculously heavy sword ((see Ganondorf's pic below)). When he saw the few wolves he stopped walking. 
 
Anger was on his face, an unusual anger. One that was mixed with pure greed. His yellow colored eyes were enhanced with an unnatureal yellow glow. His white teeth were clentched. 
 
Behind him was a semi-transparent magenta colored crystal. Inside of it was a wolf ((Karma)). Ganondorf turned to it adn spoke. "Who is he?"

Larka sprang at once to her feet. There was no way her new family was going to get in danger. She leapt into the snow, fierce eyes boring into the humanoids, lips curled back. Suddenly her gaze shifted and settled to a spot just above his right shoulder. She faltered in her step and her mouth gaped slightly. Before the creature had time to turn around Skart colided full into the beast, savage beack tearing at his exposed flesh, talons scratching his face, his hands, the crystal which held the young wolf. 
Larka was too shocked to move. Words failed her and her legs shook on the spot. Skart. SHe had been so wrong.

OOC: Whoa... You might be desperate, but you still gotta RP just a bit! 
 
IC: 
Ganondorf felt his skin get slashed at on his face. With a grunt of rage, he brought his heavy sword up to slap what ever was attacking him with the blunt side, only able to crush several bone of whatever it hit. 
 
His rage however forced him to lose concentration. The shield suddenly became slightly weaker, but was still held up.

Karma yelped, hoping the man wouldn't miss his aim and slap the shield. If it broke-he'd fall at least five feet. A drop that his body wasn't exactly prone to survive at this point.

OOC: lol yeah I am desperate but dont worry I didnt expect you to kill him right then and there, but can it happen sometime in this thread? 
 
IC: Larka tried to take a step forward, tried to call out to her companion. A growl hardly resembling a word escaped her throat. 
 
Skart spun offto the ground, trying to keep balanced but the blow of the sword had made his right wing very weak. He hopped oddly on the ground then jumped. Trying to climb higher in the air he cast a glance at Larka whom was still very still. Pushing his beak into the sky he belowed,  What buisness do you have with this cub, you filthy creature? Are you so weak that you need a hostage? 
 
Larka was sinking lower into the snow. What was Skart trying to do? He was insulting the beast, taunting him even. She winced as she saw his oddly bent wing trembling to hold him in the air, but she also saw the burning fury in his eyes and she was given strength. Giving a hard growl she bore her eyes into the "human's"

Ganondorf didn't reply yet, but looked at the wolf now infront of him. "I've come to speak with Umber. This land is now mine. All of you, leave it at once. You are not allowed in my kingdom."

Karma whined and tried to appear, very, very small. It didn't work. He'd probably get killed by this human if he got mad enough.

Larka finally reacted. Growling yet again she said in a rumbling voice that wasn't her own,  Your land? Do you think you can take land away from a pack of wolves? Sir you are mistaken, I think I can speak for us all by saying that we will not simply leave. If you claim this as your land I will have to fight you. 
As will I  said Skart settling awkwardly on the snow by Larka. If he was to die he would die defending her and what was important to her. 
A sudden horrifying noise bounced out of the sky itself. Larka shook and all thoughts of a fight vanished from her mind. The very earth was trembling. Picking her feet up she threw her gaze at a patch of rapidly moving slow and flinging herself on the cold ground she peered into teh vanishing water. What she say caused her mouth to drop. At the moment she wanted to tear into this beings throat. The picture shimmering in the water, the picture of a sad, but determined horse flying powerfully away from a dark forrest was soon once again a pool of water as Larka's paw came down in it. 
She trembled in anger.

Something went wrong with your post there, Fearwolf...

As the stranger walked up to them Umber tilted his head in the typical canine way, curious as to who it was and why he had chosen to walk right up to them like that. Then his golden gaze fell on the white pup floating behind him and the big wolf bared his teeth. 
 
His fur risinghe lowered his head threateningly, yet did not growl. His ears backed he still listened to the two lgged one's words, which only infuriated him more. It was the eagle's actions however that made him stay where he was. The bird was a friend of Larka and allowed to be with the wolf pack whenever he wanted. Yet he was not a wolf. 
 
Staying by Cortina's side he watched the bird get mauled by the fellow's sword. It seemed the guy knew what he was doing, and the bird did not. Yet Karma was calling out for help now. Finally the growl was released from his throat, yet at the same time something else happened. Angry as he was Umber did notice it, yet refused to be distracted. As he felt like the earth should shake beneath him he slowly advanced towards the two legged one, his growl loud. 
 
"I'm Umber, stop picking on those smaller than yourself and let the pup go." He should have said the bid as well, but Umber only cared about the young pup. That was no longer white he saw now with a bit of shock. Had the wind just picked up? Not taking his eyes of the sword wielder Umber wondered what was going on.

"I won't let him go," Ganondorf said as he stood closer to the leader. The earthquake startled him before as well, but he was so into what he was doing, he hear nothing. I was just a treamor to him.

Karma whined, pitiful high voice reaching everyone's ears within hearing distance. Heartwrenching as it was, it was made worse by the shivering he was going through, a sort of insane trembling to keep warm and yet hold the pain in his skin back at the same time. It didn't quite work. 
 
"Umber..." he gasped, relieved. "Cortina..." 
 
He collapsed in a little heap of skin at the bottom of the crystal.

Skart had seen the picture two and he was full of fear. 
Larka stepped forward again further advancing on this sick, twisted THING. 
 So,  she said darkly, taking more and more steps.  Gaeva has left so you think we are defenseless. You think you can take over us and our land? Well you are wrong.  
Skart once again took to the air, preparing to attack teh creature again with his own life, should the need arise. 
Larka cringed at the poor pup in the crystal. Her mind was racing with ways to break the crystal, it was right there in her head, but the days events were far too much and it was buried too deep. 
She howled in grief, anger and disgust.

"Gaeva? Left?" He truely had no clue what the wolf was talking about as he tilted his head. "I don't care who this person is, so it means little difference to me." 
 
He turned around to the crystal and raised his hand to it. "As for you..." Suddenly, it shattered, letting the thing inside fall to the ground. "You did your job by bringing me here. No sence keeping you captive, especialy since you can't do an thing to me now....weak.....creature...."

Karma snarled and with one final lunge sank his teeth into the cloth just above his boots. Sharp teeth dug in; he tasted blood. Scampering away, he yelped and landed in a patch of snow. "Never!" He cried, blue eyes flashing in the sun. "You can't take my home!"

ooc: lol I dont care how you do it wait actually I do. I want him to die trying to protect Larka so as long as you dont just bash him all of a sudden I dont care how you do it. But Larka might go insane. I'll just play along with what you do and I suspect you'll do likewise. Just an explanation to teh rest of yas.....Im killing off Skart as I am quite sure you realised but this whole meeting wasnt pre planned. What an interesting twist.

Larka rushed to the little white wolf who ran very near to her. Giving him an "it will be ok " look she cocked her head at the humanoid, mindfull of Skart flying above her head. Wondering just how stubborn and persistant he was she said. 
 WHy do you stand there? We will not give up our homeland  
Fearing she had not sentenced her pack to death with those words she looked worriedly at Umber. 
Skart had moved once again to the beast and, flying by his ear he shrieked horribly, darting away before he came to more harm. 
He flew back and settled on Larka's shoulder, gripping her precious,warm fur lovingly. He knew in his heart that if there was a battle, he was too die. He had known this was his fate for Tsarr had said 
 Do not be afraid to trust Skart, for you will die for friendship

OOC: Arg, Cortina wasn't gonna be here anymore! Oh well, I can fix that. I wish I could have posted this before though. Oh well, better late than never.

Cortina nodded when he said she could go and went off into the forest, towards the river.

Devil nodded with a grin. Yet when the elfish looking creature came, he turned on his heels. There was that pup, the first one to leave. Listening to the others, he knew a fight was going to happen. Though only a pup, he loved a good fight. 
 
Then, the rumblings started. Somehow, the thin pup was able to keep his balance. His fur whipped back and froth, as though by the wind. Fire came from his paws and came together just above his back to form a fireball hovering in the air. He hoped to use it to keep some light as well as try to scare Ganondorf (I spelled it right!). 
 
"Need some help, Umber? Just ask, I'm here and ready," the pup said with a smirk. His demonic tail flicked in eager excitment.
