Into the pack's den

Larka suprised herself by smiling at the rapidly approaching GANONDORF. She croached as if to spring but instead she stayed in the position. As the blade came down to touch her she positioned herself in such a way so that if he was to strike her, even if it was a death blow she would only have to turn her head up or down to deliver a good bite to his hands, arms, feet or legs, depending on how he rushed her. 
Help us Skart She whispered.

Karma shivered and looked away. He could not-would not-bear it. Inside, he was happy Cortina was gone. At least she would not be hurt by seeing death. Seeing him like this.

Lets see if I can make this half way believable... 
 
IC 
Standing put Umber glared at the intruder to their den territory, knowing he was going to kill the eagle, yet not moving. It was just a bird, not a wolf, and nothing to Umber but the image of his second favourite form. The pups were what was important and he stayed with Karma, greatful to Devil for helping, but annoyed by his shouts at the same time. he didnt mind a fight, but Devil was encouraging a fight between Larka and the intruder, and that was something entirely different. 
 
As the two attacked he decided it was time to act, now a wolf was involved, one of his pack, one that actually mattered. Growling he shifted to the form he had been observing during the fight, the one he was most familiar with other than his wolf form, and within heartbeats an eagle stood where the black and brown wolf had been. Unfolding his wings he threw himself forwards, flying straight over Larka's head, screeching the battle cry of a bird, and shifted moments before hitting Ganondorf, choosing a form he had learned only recently. The black colored gargoyle was as tall as the one attacking his pack mate, and that was one of the reasons that made Umber favour it right now. The other was this form's strength. The bird's screech was carried over to a deep menacing growl from the gargoyle's throat as he lunged forwards from midair.

Oh well, seemed apropriate as she called for Skart.

Karma whined and backed up, paws skittering on melted snow. Fear had rushed in the moment his warmth came back. 
And now it threatened to engulf him.

Just before his blade made contact with Larka, Ganondorf saw an eagle rushing at him. He brought his sword up to defend, but then it changed into a massive form. As the sword transfered its painfull energy into both Ganondorf and the gargoyel since it was wedged in between, Ganondorf's legs were ripped of the ground and he flew backwards. 
 
As he was landing, the powerful electrical energy arced through him and he shook. He groaned in pain and then it suddenly stopped. He layed there, bleeding frpom his face, hand and leg, unconcious.

Karma's mouth dropped open. "You killed him!" He squeaked in suprise. Creeping forward, he glanced along the enormous length of the man. "Wow, Umber. You're strong."

The impact was slight compared to what he had expected, the body of the gargoyle being bigger and more poweful than his normal wolf form. Feeling that his momentum forwards was barely stopped after impact Umber knew the other had not ben able to stop him, and would not be able to hit Larka. 
 
This triumph however was short lived as he felt something else against his chest. It took a full moment for him to realize it was in fact the sword that had ben raised and was not trapped between their bodies. While the gargoyle's skin was thick, it was nothing against the sharp sword that obviously held magic as well. The moment he felt the pain he tried to yelp, but in this form the sound came out as a roar instead. 
 
Not stopping as they hit the ground the black gargoyle rolled forwards and onto his feet, his wings surprisingly finding his balance for him by themselves. Apparently an instinct of this body he thought gratefully. Swiping at his chest with a sharp taloned hand Umber felt a tingling there that was not a part of being slightly cut. 
 
His golden eyes came to a rest on the sword still in the creature's hands. Growling Umber lunged forwards and used a hand to swipe the sword away, throwing it further from them than he had intended. This form trully was a strong one! He'd have to keep an eye on Tobias if the child would become as strong as this one day. 
 
"He's not dead," Umber growled back at Karma, "Too bad." Standing up he walked over to the unconscious creature and looked down on him. The blood still flowed which was why Umber knew his heart still beat. He was not dead, and could wake up at any moment. 
 
Picking the form up he took off, using his wings to carry them both away.

IC: Karma watched, wideyed as they vanished into the sky. he breathed a sigh of relief, collapsing for a final time on the ground. His pack was safe, his home was safe. And Umber was too. He could rest now, and not feel scared to death of what would be there when he woke up. Sighing, he shut his eyes. Ganondorf had taxed his strength completely, far more than he first thought.

"I could make him dead," he said with a smirk. He cut off the energy to Karma and turned to Larka. "He's gonna need to be warmed up. I cut off the warmth power thingie to him, so if he doesn't get warmed up he won't last." 
 
He nosed his bag, seeing that the bottle of his glow in the dark liquid was okay. "I might as well be leaving now. Umber left and I don't really know you that well." He grined, before walking off towards the moutains.

IC: Karma looked up blearily as Devil left, saying a weak goodbye. Then Larka came over, to his suprise. He'd been half sure she'd take off after Umber to help the fight. 
Something tingled in his head, warming him from head to toe. Heat flooded into his body, making him stop his tiny shiverings. Slowly he lapsed into sleep, dreaming of spreading his wings and flying over mountains, seeing through an eagle's eyes the vision of freedom.

A loud roar/scream was heard in the distance and soon so was thudding felt on the ground. A monsterous creature, Ganon, raised his arms into the sky and roar/screamed. His two sai's, equally monsterous in size, failed about, cutting deep groves into the nearby trees. 
 
Ganon's pig-like horned face looked quite evil withthe glowing yellow eyes. His think skin, dark in all respects, was filled with pure power with the mussles beneith. His somewhat glowing blue and green ending stubby tail moved around in random dicrections, just like a snake. His mosnterous side towered over his previous tall height.

IC: Karma jerked awake at the cry, his skin bristling with hair he didn't have. Dreams of flying free popped like bubbles before his eyes, the warmth in his body fading to the point of vanishing. But he felt better now, as if stretching wings he didn't have healed him of his wounds. Cold flecked against his skin, but it didn't matter. Looking around, he spotted Larka. 
"Where's Umber?"

IC: 
Thud.. Thud... Thud... Thud.. And then another loud cry was heard. ((think crossing the T-rex roar from JP with the TIE fighter scream from SW)). More trees were goudged, and one even fell down, right near Larka. THen the monster was seen in the new opening. It screammed again before stompping into the area.

Tobias stared in complete awe at seeing another gargoyle. All his life he had thought he was the only weird looking wolf there was but now he was quesitoning all that. Seeing Umber as a gargoyle raised alot of questions for the young gargoyle. Tobias, to young to fully comprehend the malisiousness of the battle, galloped closer and was amazed by the larger gargoyle's strength. Like a little kid, Tobias cheer Umber on as though it were just a big play fight. Before he could get very close though, Umber and the stranger had already taken off. 
 
 
(Gargoyle's can only glide, not fly. But since Umber did, I might make it that Tobias will be able to fly to because he has some demon blood in him or whatever)

Karma yelped and darted behind Larka, wanting to really sprout wings and fly away. He was huge, almost to the point of Karma being a fly. He debated-run to the cave or run for Umber. 
He could only be thankful that Cortina was gone, or he'd have been at the monster's throat by now, growling like nuts. 
Tail tucked behind his legs, he scrambled out of the way and further into the forest, away from the clearing that surrounded the den.

I thought you had Tobias based on the gargoyles from that one cartoon, they can fly, so I figured he could too. Sorry about that. 
 
IC 
Trying to get back only exhausted Umber. Not having practiced this form before he was wasting too much time experimenting now. Growling he finally just almost fell to the ground and shifted back to his familiar black and brown wolf form. His lips pulled back he ran back to the area of the den, hearing the piercing cries that that thing had uttered at the River as well. 
 
Bursting through the bushes he sprang back into view, panting more than he should for the distance he had just run. Next time he wouldn't mae the mistake of assuming a form without exploring it's possibilities first, he thought to himself as he raised his head to glare at Ganon. He had gotten huge! Especially now that Umber himself was back into his smaller-than-gargoyle form. 
 
Spotting only Larka and Tobias he inched closer to them, wondering where Karma was and hoping he had gone into the den. "I think you didn't hear me, you freak," he growled up to the two legged one, "I told you to leave my pack alone!" His fur was bristling all along his neck and back now, and mentally the big wolf was categorizing all his other forms to choose the most proper one for the situation.

Melody emerged from the den, she'd only just regained her full strength from her song. 
She snarled at the stranger and glared into his eyes. 
 
"I warn you, I am a healer wolfess, I have the power to give life... and take it away, do you require a demonstration or will you leave...?" 
 
Melody walked up close to the stranger and stared into him, determined not to be moved.
