Ganondorf gripped the hilt of his massive sword with both hands, wincing in pain from the wounds on his right hand, face and now on his shin. "I'm getting tired of you... thing," he growled. "And if you don't want that bird to die, I'd tell it to leave." 
 
OOC: Then I have jsut this thing... It'll slow.... And painful....

IC: Karma fled the spot, searching for warmth he couldn't find. Burrowing under Umber's warm belly, he poked his head out and trembled, skin ice cold. Blue eyes watched fearfully as the monster snarled threats to one of his friends. Relying on Umber...Karma suddenly realized how defenseless he was. He hunkered down in the snow. If he ever lived through this...he vowed he would change his ways.

Larka grit her teeth. 
 I don't know why you don't understand.  she said hurridly. 
 Commited beings do not simply LEAVE when they are asked to! I thought you would have noticed that by now.  
She looked him up and down, tilting her head, plotting his weaknesses, his brain was obvoiusly one of them.

Ganondorf suddenly raised his sword into the air. "No, it is YOU who doesn't understand." Calling forth energy out of the air, the light seemed to get sucked from it as the sword began to glow with a yellow light. Electricity arced all through it, making crakling noises. As it became more powerful, everything else became darker. 
 
"You are now hearing your final warning. Don't tempt me or some one will die."

Karma whined and wished he had his fur back. At least then he could melt into the snow and pretend he wasn't here. With fur, he could run until he was a blinding white streak among the trees. With fur....with fur he wouldn't be here, shivering and depending on someone for something as simple as body warmth.

Larka stood stock still in fear, not for herself but for her pack for it was she that had brought this on them. She withdrew a few paces and whispered to Umber  I think I should stop talking to him, you do what you think is best Umber, my heart is with you.  
Skart alit off her shoulders when she ,moved backwards and studied the humanoid as he hovered in the air, cocking his head this way and that. The orb of light was somewhat enticing...

He watched sliently, curious as to what was going on. It seemed mostly talk, though he had to admit the pup had at least tried to fight back. He figured he could help the pup, only in hopes of the fight to get more interseting. 
 
He closed his emerald eyes and tried to conertrate on a skill he had practiced once or twice. But it would be harder this time, for the ball of flames above him was taking energy to keep up. "Karma, that's your name right? Karma, come from under Umber. I can tell that he couldn't fight as well as he could with you there." He smirked, thinking of how powerful the wolf could be. 
 
"Karma, take a few steps away from him. I'll keep you warm, trust me." "Now there's a crazy thought," he thought to himself. As to prove his point a strange warmth that seemed to come from the wolf went to Karma, though it wasn't enough to keep the pup warm. He didn't dare try to do him so close to Umber. He had never tried to do more than one person and never done it while they were so close to someone eles.

IC: Karma slowly left Umber, figuring the wolf needed room to move. Shivering he pressed against the pup for warmth, tail wagging weakly. "What's that?" He asked as his nose began to tickle, as it always did around magic.

Larka simply couldn't react, but Skart had had enough. With what he was certain would be his last act, he whispered  For you Larka  and dove at the intruder's face, slashing left right at the demonic being's eyes. He could only hope he would wreck his eyes or at least draw blood from his skin. He saw the firm grip on the sword and sank his talons deep into the creatures face. 
ooc: ummmm fellas I don't know what to do but I've been trying to kill Skart for WEEKS so Umber, you chose what to do from here!!!

"You're see," came the reply. He felt the pup against him and knew he had listened. Concentrating hard, a strange warmth flowed in his body. He felt it go down into his legs and leave from his paws, knowing that it should go to the cold pup. 
 
"That's should help," he said, opening his eyes. Yet he quickly found it was hard to keep this up, for he was use to just doing this real quickly.

Ganondorf swatted the bird harrassing him with the sword, nearly dropping it in the process. The pain was tremendous as he screamed out in utter rage. Suddenly his eyes began to glow bright yellow. 
 
Reaching out with his right hand, he enclosed the eagle with the same crystal that encased Karma earlier. Nothing, safe for air, could get in or out. "Fool. For that I'll kill you." Suddenly the transpartent, magenta colored crystal began to shrink, slowly. "A slow and agonizing death."

IC: Karma dropped to the ground in relief, legs collapsing with a final sigh as warmth flooded easily into his body. The snow around him melted away, leaving little pools of water that trickled away. He closed his eyes, opening them to see the bird inside the crystal. 
 
"Get him out of there!" He screamed, eyes wide. "He'll die! Let him go!"

Skart's words finally hit Larka and the pain was unbearable. She cried out and threw herself at the crystal, loping easily around the demon so as not to be killed as well. Why would he do that? 
 Skart !  she cried her paws slipping on the shrinking surface as she stoood on her two legs.  Skart, noooooo! Why? What have you done....you knew it would not stop him.  She whimpered and whined, scratching the thing that held her dear friend captive until her claws grew blunt and bloody, but it did not give in at all. 
She stopped, breath leaving her body in giant bursts as she howled in sadness. She would die as well. She turned to Skart for her consolence, so that she knew what she was about to do would be worth it all. She was suprised to see him shake his head. 
 Larka.....do not think what I did was useless. Look at his eyes.  
Larka turned to the creature and saw that indeed his eyes were discoloured and brimmed with blood. (( Is it alright if this caused him to be half blind, temporarily? I want Skart to die doing something that would help Larka and company. ))) 
She smiled a little, a half smile blooming with ppain and sadness but a smile. 
She looked back to her dieing friend who said 
 Larka. You hold the sight. When I die my soul will be born again in your mind. I will always be with you Larka. I made that comittment.  
Larka's magnifecent eyes watered and she sent Skart a msg through their mental communications. Skart started a little in his cage and smiled. Spreading his wings as far as the small space would allow he nodded. 
He sent a mind mesage back and Larka jumped. 
 Never Skart! I will hold strong. I won't let us die!  
She turned on the beast with glaring eyes. 
 You coward! Why do you make him suffer this way? One blow of your sword would have done it. You are sick and twisted.  
Pacing around him in a deadly circle as wolves are from time to time seen doing. She kept eye contact. Willing him away from her pack. Yes. Her pack.

"I told you to leave," Ganondorf said. "I suffered inguries by him and can barely see. I told you to leave. You refused. You brought this upon yourself. You refused to leave and so I'm making an example. Do you want to join him?" 
 
His right hand, still facing the crystal, slowly closed as the crystal continued to shrink. Just as his hand became a fist, the crystal shrank into something so small, no normal eye could see it. Then he opened his fist again, dispelling the magic power he had called for it. 
 
"I told you. You have know idea who you're messing with. Even now I have a power inside my that can destroy you all. Do you really want to call it forth?"

The grined slightly. Things were turning out to be quite interseting. "Come on, fight him!" he yelled, trying to encourage the fight. The fireball dissappeared, for it was taking to much energy to keep both that and Karma's warmth up. "You can't let him kick you out!" It would seem hanging out with all of the evil creatures of the moutains had done baddly on his heart and soul.

Ganondorf took up the massive blade with power once more, able to see only sillowets (sp?). Not even the Triforce would allow him to see past his wounds. Lowly, he spoke. "Then die." 
 
Ludging with his full body weight at Larka, his long and strong legs propelled him to a speed that quickly covered the ground betweeen he and the wolf. He swung the heavy sword at her, not to use the blade but the power in it instead. A power that wasn't ment to kill as it was to create an unbareable pain. A pain that Karma had felt as she was electrocuted by his magic several times before.

Watching Skart pop out of existance was very painful, but Larka thought that maybe the creature had softened, for he had killed him quicker than she had expected for such an act. Half of her brain seemed to vanish with ihim, but she felt his presence drift in the air and she sucked at it greedily. 
Sobbing like only a wolf could she felt new strength begin to surge through her bones. His words were true. He was with her. He would help her. Suddenly she became aware of a tingling sensation in her paws and her bloodied, blunt claws became renewed and thrice as sharp as they had been. Her swollen gums became pink and firm again and her hungry stomach was filled. She was becoming Skart. She was restoring herself through him. 
She crooned in delight whispering to the soul that was in her mind. 
She felt reassured and she stopped pacing and turned to stand with Umber. 
 Your call my friend. We may die defending but where will we go if we don't? Or we can back off, and live with the guilt forever.  
She flexed her claws, no, talons. Skart's talons. 
She burst into a lupine smile at the thought that a great creature such as Gan ((((( lol don't know what his name is ))))) had to use this "magic power" to fight. Though she could not talk to him, she felt Skart. This meant so much to her that her large heart swelled and she wanted a miracle. She wanted the demon to drop dead. All her life she had fought evil. It was too much. She threw back her head and howled a lonely song into the sk. It was the song of her old pack, and it rang with death.
