Raakainya padded her diamond-hard ebon hooves through the perilous lands, shrouded in a visible layer of thick earthen darkness, the moon crowned by a golden halo... 
 
The sweet air smelled of ravens, dragons, and the angel of death--evil was ever present in the intensely brutal area. The beast licked her shiney black lips and bloodstained teeth, her ruby eyes burning with lust for evildoings and iniquity... 
 
Now, if only she could find someone to join her in this sick pleasure of hers, she could conquer the world as she saw fit.

<div style="text-align:center">Shadow's mind found the acquaintance before his amber eyes did. The form of a raven flew toward the peculiar creature fearlessly, it's glossy feathers bathed in the moon light. With a screech the dark one shifted into a phoegryph and back winged to a stop. 
 
"Looking for someone?" 
 
His velvet but freezing voice questioned. He new the creature already but not well. Perhaps this was time to get to know each other better...</div>

A hideous grin crossed Raakainya's bloodstained maw as a slightly familiar figure graced the barren brimstone ground before her. 
 
Greetings, she said softly, her blood-red eyes twinkling. Indeed, I am sort of looking for someone... 
 
She could smell the foul stench of evil wafting from his body.

The karkadann glanced back at the gryphon, a mischievous gleam on her torted face. 
 
 
Aye, something speaks within my wretched mind, she said, tossing her grizzly tail, Something evil. 
 
She looked at him closely to see if he was thinking similar thoughts within his own black heart. Indeed, he seemed to be. 
 
Tell me, Master Gryphon, she hoarsely said in a mockingly submissive and timid tone of voice, Have you any plans tonight?

 she snapped back at herself 
 
<Ok, you don't have to get all...> 
 
She inturrupted herself as she saw the two evil creatures who eminated evil. Landing with a thud and folding her black leathery wings back revealing her midnight black snail shell, she looks at the two creatures with her red eyes and introduces herself "Hello, I am Kali. I have been flying around to and fro looking for evil to join."

Raakainya jolted upright, blinking several times in attempts to clear this alien image from her clear sight. Her eyelids flashed red on red, but the black snail image lay clear as day before her. She laughed at herself.

Amber eyes watched the odd creature approach and before anyone could glance back at him the ebony phoegryph was gone. 
 
What a peculiar beast you are Kali... 
 
His gelid voice mused out loud. 
 
And with a split personality at that. 
 
A thick fog of darkness swept around the creatures form, lifting her and turning her about face. 
 
The name's Shadow. 
 
His voice was like velvet yet it was tinged with the loneliness of a heartless one. The phoegryph's rich golden eyes prodded the creatures form, silently wondering where in the many realms it's origin was. After a moment the gryphon was no longer interested in the beast and the darkness around it's body evaporated. 
 
Shadow sat, curling his long tail about his side. 
 
What brings you besides the search for company? 
 
He questioned the bat-winged snail. He wasn't about to allow his guard down though, whether the gryphon needed it or not. Evil may enjoy evil's company but none could be trusted to a certain extent.

OOC: I am here. I am a single working mother with a 5 yr old. I am here in the evenings and on the weekends . I have email reminders so I am active, no worries about that!

My name is Raakainya of the West, she announced proudly, stamping a hooved foot against the ground. 
 
A sworn enemy to the forces of light in the Deep Forest. After all, darkness shan't be so evil, when it allows for one to see the light. 
 
She grinned, glancing up in nonchalant hatred at the circling white hawk above her. She sighed a bit and let her ruby eyes focused once more on the two creatures before her. 
 
I should very much enjoy your company and your aid, if you wish to join me in my eternal war. 
 
She paused momentarily and looked to the phoegryph.

Laughing aloud at the Phegryph's antics Kali replied "Ok, sure. I would enjoy being part of a war once again. As for the one being in charge, we shall come to an understanding." 
 
Kali, usually being a loner, did not enjoy the idea of having an alliance, but past history proved to her that one is going to be necessary. 
 
<As long as I controll me> Kali sneered to herself 
 
<We shall see about that, now shaint we?> Kali retorted 
 
"So, do you have a plan Raakainya, or is that why you desire company?" Kali mildly mocked.

Raakainya involuntarily bristled her wirey fur, snarling and dropping blobs of yellow saliva upon the ground. She cut her eyes straight back at the gryphon. 
 
Perhaps you consider yourself to be under no one's command, but neither do I consider myself to be. 
 
A low rumble hung in her thick throat. 
 
Do you really dare cross my path, Shadow Ravenclaw?

Just for reference... Please tell me your stats (vaguely is okay) just so we both know what we're up against: 
I'm about 4.5 feet long, 3 feet off the ground, and my horn's a foot and a half. But I don't use it to gauge or anything, that's a cheap shot. =P And I weigh about 250 lbs.

OOC--I refuse to submit! I might use the horn if it's my only way of not losing, but it'd have to be a last resort. That could stab straight through you, y'know... Pretty painful...
