Ryu looked to Mennie silently. He stood there, for a moment, doing nothing before he slowly placed the katana back into it's scabbard. "Fine." 
 
He pointed to the bat flying near the boulder. "But watch that bat, follow it."

The bat's sensitive ears caught the sounds of the others and heard she was seen. Knowing Meali was safe in their hands, she turned away from where the cabin laid hidden. She would enter another time if she must. But now, she had to see who's side their were one. 
 
She spun around and flapped towards them, cold and tired though not showing it. "Ryu, I would expect you to be more polite than just that bat. You remember me, do you not, Ryu. You remember Lepidus-Malus right," her cold voice said, not truely asking. She landed on the closest rock to them, sitting on her small feet with her wings spread out, looking up at the two.

The ronin drow grunted. "You. Didn't know it was you." 
 
His hand was no long on his katana, but it was still ready to draw it if needed. "And why are you being so pushy to make me remember who you are?" He shot a glance over to Mennie. He knew what she was going to say, either calm don't or stop giving attitude. He grunted again.

Strange words eachoed in her mind, one she kenw well for she heard it every day of her life. Of couse, how could she have forgotten Malus. She cused in her mind for the thought, wondering if she should help or not? But she knew the answer. If she did not, she would be haunted by her for the rest of her life. 
 
Lep just bearly caught Ryu's words. "I like to be known by a name, not just that bat at times," she snapped. She had to go and go now. And just when she thought she would be able to get a rest. "I must be off, for I have to see a friend. Come along if you wish, though rather that's wise or not I can not say." 
 
With those words said, she flew off towards the Lost Fields. She had to see what Malus' problem is and see if she could help. It was times like this when she found her split soul hard to live with. It was hard to choose what she should do. Wings spread out, she flapped through the forest as quickly as she could with as little effort as she could.

Ryu turned his head away, not really wanting an asnwer. But he heard the bat's wings flap away. The direction it went in. He knew that direction. He was there just before he met Menfeniswen. 
 
He drew both his katana and wakazashi as quickly as he could, with both fear and anger in his eyes.

Disappointed Meali let herself be pushed away. She really wanted to look at the odd looking fellow and the lady in her pretty dress. But admitting defeat she turned and stretched out her nose to nuzzle the large feline-ish creature's manes. 
 
"Me too. Why do they have to be so mean all the time? I hope my daddy is alright." Again the little light blue foal reached out to her father's mind,a nd this time got a vague sense from his mind. Maybe she was getting better. 
 
"He's mad," she sighed. But that was better than afraid. Or dead.

Sighing Mennie watched Ryu draw his weapons and she did not stop him. She cared not anymore. She could not stop his recklessness but she could stop her part in it. 
"Go on Ryu, I will not follow this time," she said. She was going to stay here whether he did or not. She liked the idea of being around more creatures, although right now she couldn't see them. She sat on the ground looking up at him. 
"I will not say anything this time, keep them out and let them become more afraid. No doubt you know where all the good food is so let's go slaughter!" she said. She rolled her eyes and sighed again. Pulling her cloak tighter about her she looked around and wondered where this shelter was.

The elf sighed. They were never going to be accepted if Ryu kept up his "dark hero" ways. At first it made him charming but now that they were in the company of other elves who feared him, she realized that had ostracized herself as well. She was cold and hungry and fairly grumpy. 
"Ryu I beg you, for the grace of the Valar put away your weapons and thoughts of revenge for now. Please I beg you," she cried. Never had she felt this alone. Angry tears clouded her vision.

Ryu never looked back to Mennie. He only lowered his head into the direction that the bat few in, but never took his eyes from the last spot he saw it. Then the wakazashi was slid into its scabbard right before the katana. "So be it. You try to find the elf..." 
 
((The way to tame him is much more simpler them you think!))

Hearing the sounds from outside, and not recgnizing them Meali agreed with Lenanu. Maybe whoever was outside had hunted them down from the Meadow. Silently she stared at the door, remembering that's how you came in and out of this block, her ears perked up as she listened intently. 
 
"Do you think they'll come in here?" she asked, just so she could say something and break her tension.

"Not unless I lower this illusion, and then he breaks down the door," Danath replied. 
"Which looks like what I might have to do..." 
Coming from the side was...Jaden. The aged elf looked considerably beaten; mud and dirt were all over his robes and hat. His staff was more like a walking stick right now, and he looked very tired, most likley exhausting himself from too many spells. 
"Jaden..." he whispered. 
"I have to lower the barrier," he said. 
"But I don't ant you all getting hurt. Lock the door back up after I come out, and wait until I'm back to unlock it. If that elf comes near here or me, keep it locked, here?"

Even though there were voices just outside, the cabin was relitively quite and cause her to think. She egded her way to a corner and lied there, tail flicking as she watched the window and door. A shiver went down her spine as a terrbile memory came to her. Yet she had to fight it for now. Hearing the elf's words, she turned away from the door. 
 
She shivered again before going over to the window. Amy felt trapped here, and didn't like the reminder of that feeling. Tail flicking, she kept her mind only on the scene outside and not the fact she was inside.

She heard faint voices but they were too faint to hear clearly. Sighing again Mennie stood up. 
"We are never going to be accepted here Ryu. Let's leave now. There is another place that I have seen that is quite nice. A lot warmer as well. But I don't really know if it would be to your liking. It is the meadow," she said wondering if he had ventured there. 
"Would you like to venture there?" she asked. Underneath it all she was breaking down. She missed her home and all of the Lothlorien elves. This place was beautiful but it was harsher and colder. It was not under the protection of Nenya. It had no power to keep the cold out. She longed to see another of her kind again.

Danath nodded, 
"Of corse, Lenanu. Besides..." 
At this, he waved a hand through the air, his staff flying through the air to him. 
"I've got the speed of the Elves on my side!" 
He chuckled a little, then got serious. First, muttering a few long words, he abolished the illusion spell. Then, with a grunt, Danath heaved the bar up from the door. Quickly as he could, he got outside, closing the door again. 
"Jaden!" Danath hissed to him, trying to get his old master's attention without alearting the others. Then he had another idea. 
Jaden! he said again into the Elf's mind. 
Near the house! 
 
Jaden lifted his head, looking to see Danath there. 
"Danath...?" 
The elf quickened his pace. He'd probably be tearing up, if he wern't too old to say he were too old for that(lol) 
The two met roughly halfway, and by the, Jaden had noticed the Drow. 
"What about that one?" Jaden said, leaning on Danath for support. 
"I'll handle him if it comes to that. For now, we need to get you inside."

Ryu noticed the two elves and immediately started to itch for a fight. Instead he just stood there and grunted as his heels came together and his arms were folded across his exposed muscular chest. 
 
"Well meleth nin. Care to talk your way into the place that you didn't think was here or shall I just do it the old fation way now that I know where the front door is?" 
 
His grin grew wider only on the right side of his face as his head tilted downward to face the two elves. They can't keep me out forever. I've the forces of ice on my side! And it's WINTER!

A soft sound escaped her lips, unwanted though it was. It sounded much like a kitten's mew yet with a soft whine to it that was clearly horse like. The fur prickled at the back of her neck as her ears laid flat. Maybe it was just her, but this cabin was starting to become a worse idea by the moment. Almost against her will, she bagan to pace back and froth. 
 
Finally, she stopped. Desparet for the feel of someone nearby, she creapt back towards the young filly. She would have gone toward Lenuna, but she was to humaniod to be much comfort now. Of couse, Amy knew not all humans or bad. She was just thinking about the bad ones now. Purring to try to rise her spirits, she rubbed the filly's leg real quick and lied down next to her.
