Shaking her head clear of the spell Jaden cast Lenanu looked around for a moment and gave a sigh of releif. "Jadem teleported us over to where me and Danath live, near the river. Lets get moving before those creatures find us again." 
 
Having teleported herself earlier in fear the small white and silver kitten peeked around a pile of log, giving a squeek of happyiness at the sight of her friend Meali again before running over to the foal.

Its form blinked into the area in a matter of seconds ... the scene changing in a few seconds ... from battle ... to calmness. Its form was black and tainted, its arms layed down the thick branch it had appeared on, its long claws curling around the branch, cutting into the bark ... its long nailed feet doing the same. The forms skin was a dark tainted blue, covered in patterns and shapes like none had ever seen before. Its head was humanoid but slipping across its face was a nastly long smile of glistening white needle teeth. 
 
The tainted creature kept its watchful gaze upon the small group that had escaped, their idea of hiding was very well ... using an area not yet darkened fully by the storms ... but yet ... they were three figures less ... 
 
It didnt move forward ... nor did it make a move ... all it did was keep an ever-watchful gaze upon their escape and their new found hideout ...

Spreading her legs wide as if to keep herself from falling Meali panted, looking wildly about herself. It took her a few moment to realize what had happened and where they were now. Surely they were safe now? Meali still couldn't relax her muscles though. 
 
Hearing the little sound the filly turned her head quickly and spotted her furry friend. Smiling she ran a few steps closer then lowered her head to greet her and give her easy access to her back. "Where'd you go, Silverkitten?" As long as the kitten was alone here, and no scary monsters lurking behind a tree. Looking up Meali could see the flames still in the sky, though much further away, and the sound that had come along with it seemed also more distant. Could she relax now? But what about her father? Backing her ears Meali decided they weren't safe yet and shifted her wings, the natural instinct of her species to get ready to flee, even if she couldn't fly yet.

Danath sighed. He was used to teleporting, but it still gave him a funny feeling. 
"Lets get going," he said. 
"Before they catch up. Our house isn't very far away. Hopefully, it will be enough to keep creatures at bay."

It took a few moments to get the feline to relax some. Her fur was puffed up and her ears back. Never before had she ever teleported or anything of the sort. Infact, the only reason she did was because the others seemed okay and moving on. With a snort, her fur laid down the way it was ment to be and her ears were perked in alertness. Not knowing where they were going, except to one of the other's house, she quickly followed after them sliently.

All tensed up Meali trotted over to the cabin, remembering the last time she had been there was when Lenanu put the bright green scale on the green string in her manes. That had been before even Azelle got killed, and long before any of this trouble started. 
 
Glancing around partly at the others and partly at the forest around her, she made a little jump forwards to hurry on. Was it just her imagination it was so quiet here?

Ambient stood silent and wide-eyed. The meadow had vanished before him and he was staring at the river bank. Teleporting wasn’t a strange feeling for him; at the speeds he went, there was almost no difference, but it was so sudden that it shook him up a little. Not knowing anyone of the group, he stayed at the rear and followed to the shelter they spoke of, his mind still wandering at the events at the meadow. The burning beasts, the strange barrier, the sudden darkness…

Dnath, noticing Lenanu was cold, wrapped his arm around her. The sleeves of his robes were large, and functioned almost like a semi-cloak. 
"The best I can do is a seeing-the-expected spell. The house is too large, and the area too diverse, for me to do an effective illusion. I'll see what I can do."

Feeling the kitten's tail brush her Meali silently unfolded her wing, then trapped the bushy tail beneath it before tucking it back to her side. Speeding up her trot she finally ran to what she had found out to be the entrance to the structure, the so called door, and stopped to stand beside it, waiting impatiently for the others, and not having heard the elves' words.

Danath nodded, then looked down at the kitten. 
"Not by magic," Danath said, hurrying to unlock and open the door. 
"Now inside, all of you. I don't want anybody going out, or the spell will be broken."

Hesitantly walking inside her little hooves made clippity clop sounds on the hard floor as the filly looked about herself. The darkness from outside was even darker in here. Spotting a window she made a little jump towards it, startling herself with the noise she made by doing so, and stood in front of it. 
 
Shifting herself so she could turn around Meali looked up at the ceiling, then the walls. Flaring her nostrils she was quite interested in some of these smells you couldn't find in the forest outside. Watching the others inside she wondered how strong these walls were, and when looking up again, how it felt to have a ceiling fall on you. Backing her ears she stayed quiet, though she shifted her wings and gently poked Silverkitten with one of the joints, just to make sure her friend was still there.

A shiver ran down Meali's spine and she backed her ears, her back to the window still. But not suspecting anything more than what she already feared the filly didn't do anything but continue her inspection of the cabin.

"Lets hope Jaden and the others are alright." 
Danath stood to the front of the house, a foot from the door. As he stood, he clasped his hands together, and began to make the enchantment. 
Although the inside of the house remained the same, the outside slowly began to change, taking on the form of a hug boulder.

Amy quickly got into the cabin, looking around. Her ears fell back against her skull as dark memories came to her. Crouching low to the ground, she sat near the door and kept her eyes on the window where Meali stood with her kitten friend. She resisted the tempation to start mewing pitifully. Yet memories of harder times with metal cages came to her. She flicked her tail nerviously, edgy and eager for the time she can get out.

Running through the forest was the striped dark mare. Her wounds had opened up once more and she was desparte for some rest, for a drink of water. Still, she had no luck finding the group and the foal she swore to protect. 
 
Yet her thristy throat led her to the river. With a sigh, she lifted a sliver hoof and stomped on the ice. Closing her eyes for a moment she lowered her muzzle into the cold water. Yet she nearly choaked on it. Lifting up her maw suddenly and sending water everywhere, she saw a trail of tracks. Grining, she walked over to them and gave them a sniff. Yep, it was the groups. 
 
Once more, she started after them, yet at a slow trot now. The mulpite shifts, the running and flying every which way, the battle with Barbannis, it was tiring her out. Already, she could easily curl up and fall asleep. Yet she couldn't. To much was at risk...because...of her. She shook her head, speeding up slightly. 
 
And that was when she saw the blue skined one. With a soft grasp, she stood still. Closing her eyes, she used some of the power she inharited and partly blended into the forest. She hoped it would be enough as she watched the figure.

Turning her head as Lenanu spoke Meali then flared her nostrils in the direction of the carrots. A bit aprehensive she tried to walk over to the table quietly, wincing with every sound her hooves made. Staying as far from the table as possible she stretched her necas far as it could, then had to take another step forwards before being able to reach a carrot lying there with her lips. 
 
Quickly moving back to the window she crunched the carrot into pieces. It tasted good for sure! And it had no earth taste, it must have been washed even! Moving her lips she looked back at the other carrots still lying there.

Making up her mind Meali smakced her lips and moved back to the table, still wincing at the sound of her hooves, and snatched another carrot, munching on it happily, and eyeing the others still lying there.

Her eyes where slightly widen as the blue skined creature faded into the bacground. Yet the shock was short lived for her own father had that ability. The only problem was now it would be even harder to keep track of him. She knew the cabin was nearby, yet now she couldn't go to it for fear of bringing the trouble start to it's doorstep and to the foal she is to protect. Her tail flicked and she gave the softest of snorts in annoyance. Now what?

Extremely curious now Meali walked over to Lenanu, able to ignore the sound of her hooves now, and flared her nostrils to the extremely interesting smell. Poking her nose into one of the bowls she inhaled the delicious scent. It was warm too! It had been rather cold outside now that she thought about it. She'd been to scared to notice before. 
 
Reaching with her lips she tasted a bit of the stuff, raising her eyes to the ceiling as she did. Smiling she could feel herself drooling, she was hungry! Digging in she ate what she was offered, oblivious to what else was going on.
