How Does This Place Work?

As the description on this forum says, this place is for fics and RPs about your character. It is a way to develop a character in a way that can not be easily be done in a roleplay. If for example you wish for your character to expand it's abilities then you can come here and write a fic about how he/she discovers a new talent and then continues to practice it. In here you can cover several days and thus speeding up the process in which it takes to learn. Just remember that continuity must be maintained.

This place is also good for more personal experiences in your character's life. Even if it is just a little time out to reflect on it's life in a short fic this is a good place to do it. You can now also RP with others to write about events that wouldn't be easy to handle in the normal RP forums due to the one thread per character rule. But, if you do decide to make a RP about an important event here, make very sure it would not be possible to RP in the normal forums. This isn't some easy way to get around the rule, more like an exception to the rule.

Anything to flesh out your character to give him/her more depth is welcome in here. Just keep it reasonable. No full out war just to prove he/she is a hero. That sort of thing happens only in organized plots. Though you can write about their past, where maybe they did fight in an all out war

yes lol :) Alot of stories posted in here are background stories of their chars (in other words, their past) some stories take place while they live within the forest/mountains but is easier to tell it here than in the regular rp, same for when they leave the forest for months (like going a vist their homelands)

OK. I am new 2 this whole rp thing. As Dizy reaches maturity in 6 mos. she will be ready to teleport. Um, when should I start training and can I have ideas on how I should train her? Do I just add char. 4 this thread only 2 train and this char. would never leave this thread? Just curious, I wanna follow the rules.

Okay I better stop before I got making up my own language...

Anyhoo, I just wanted to double check something. I've recently reclaimed my former characters under my old Tonic username, Betts and Amee. And although I love them to pieces, time and some RL stuff have made me feel kind of rusty when I think about playing them... And honestly the Plot-thing, while I love the idea, intimidates the bejibblies out of me.

So I was wondering if it would be okay if I brought one or the both of them into a RP here to sort of remind myself where I was with them and hopefully have them meet a few more characters before I bring them into the big scary Forest area X3 I know especially with Betts I had some kind of general plan for her, but I've forgotten a lot of the details and maybe if I just walk her around in my head for a little bit it'll come back to me.

Most certainly yes... you can go around and do whatever you'd like with your characters in this forum. HVR is where you tell the stories of your characters that might not be front and central - things like a sleepy weekend, a campfire gathering, or whathaveyou. Side stories to the main plot. They can happen at any place and at any time - even before they visited the forest. All that really matters is that they are your UV characters and they are somehow tied to the story of Deep Forest. If they're completely unique characters who are not affected by Deep Forest, then they go to VWO - Visions Within Ourselves.
