The claiming of a lifemate (Work in progress)
(Ooc- I thought I'd have my two chars meet but felt more like I should do it here instead of in the normal RP area. This takes place just after spring starts. Enjoy <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> )<br>

Golden hooves paws at the moist ground as the winged centaur Silvia tried to dig up one of many eatible roots within the forest. Her long creamy tail billowed slightly as a nice breeze makes its way between the trees as she finally digs enough of the root out. Bending her long legs she knelt down, pulling the rest of the root free from the clinging soil before placing it into a bag thats strapped to her side.<br>
<br>
Only a short distance away the dark colored centaur male watched the female with intrest. Alloron has never before seen one of his kind being graced with wings, espically on this most lovely of females. Having removed his leg blades earlier that day he swished his long ebony tail restlessly as he thought about his old herd. Growing up as a warrior he learned the ways of many things, including how to claim a female for a mate. He knew that he mares of his kind go into heat like other horses and so he waited, watching his chosen female to learn when her time comes.<br>

A week goes by and Silvia begins to get restless for some reason that she couldn't place, never having felt like this before. Her mother often told her about when her time would come she must find herself a mate or suffer through without relief like she once did. Deciding to head to the river to cool off she began to trot, unaware of the male following like a shadow behind.<br>

A soft smile spreads itself across Alloron's face as he saw the signs he was waiting for. Even tho he has mated with others before in his home herd he wanted this one to be his, mind body and soul. Ebony tail flickering about restelssly he lunged forward in a gallop as instent overcame his desire to go slow.<br>
