Best intensive film program for beginners in Canada?
I want to get into the movie industry but I literally have zero experience on a professional set. Is there a school that can take me from the basics to a professional level in about a year? I'm mostly interested in directing and cinematography.

If you're starting from scratch, I’d highly recommend Vancouver Film School. I’ve worked with several of their alumni, and they are incredibly well-prepared for the chaos of a real set. As a renowned International Film School, they cram years of experience into a 12-month marathon. To see their curriculum and studio projects, visit this page. Personally, I think it's the best investment for your portfolio!
