Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
Name:
Naira
Species:
Chimera Soul Reaver
The Last
Age:
Exact age unknown. Appears to be in late teens/early twenties.
Gender:
Female
Appearance:
Average height with the build of an athletic runner. Naira stands at an easy 5'7". Her complexion is somewhat tan, kissed from constant exposure to the sun. Steel blue-hinted platinum hair hangs just above shoulder height, with longer strands dangling over her face. Green eyes with slitted pupils blink under a broad forehead.
Naira's clothing consists of bits and bobs from different cultures in different worlds. Recently she has favored a rustic duster from the Old West. She is rarely seen without gloves.
For all intents and purposes, she is human ... save for the slender silver dragon's tail (tipped with a broken yellow spade) and draconic feet (with sharp alabaster talons). The tips of her ears have a slight point, and she is often mistaken as some subrace of elf.
Personality:
Outgoing and willful, Naira would be considered neutral good in that she could care less what side of the tracks you're on ... She just wants everybody to (try to) get along. Often charitable and good company, the reaver will step over her bounds to put somebody in their place, and she has been known to be a ruthless avenger. Naira can be excruciatingly blunt. She has some problems conveying deeper emotions, and her attempts to keep the peace between multiple individuals has landed her in hot water more than once.
She suffers from moderate PTSD. Certain triggers may provoke unusual responses
Traits:
- Naira is undead.
- She has what is known as a 'reaper metabolism'. Sickness does not affect her. Wounds inflicted upon her by the living heal nigh instantaneously, but an injury caused by something similar to herself will take time to mend.
- She cannot die like the living do. Starvation and dehydration may alter her mentality, but not kill her. However, she is not immune to the ethereal. And even death may die.
- Soul Reavers have the ability to remove a soul from a living body or from the process of transitioning into the afterlife and 'cleanse' it of impurities. They essentially devour all traces of individuality from a soul and leave it with a blank slate. This is typically meant as punishment towards especially poisonous spirits. If this is done to a vessel that is still living, the soul is then returned to the body, leaving the victim in a vegetative state and forcing them to relearn everything from using the bathroom to talking.
- In reference to the above, Soul Reavers are essentially containers for an innumerable amount of evil essences stripped from countless souls. Though once bound by a strict moral code to keep the negative elements bound to themselves, it is now possible to bargain with them for an essence to be returned. Destroying a reaver, depending on thw technique used, may allow the bad to seep back out into the world.
- She is versed in many languages, including draconic.
Family:
None that are alive.
Known History:
Naira's history is long and tumultuous. She would rather avoid the subject. She has, however, been a 'frequent flyer' in Deep Forest.
She remembers everything up to a certain point, despite everybody else being ... unaware.
How did your character find these lands?:
That story involves a dragon and a city that never sleeps. Very messy.
Anything Else We Need to Know?:
I am a slow player, due to the fact that I am raising a baby and working full time (while being pregnant again). Be aware that I may only be active on weekends. I will be setting up a discord so that you can get whole of me there if you need to.

First RP in these lands:
...how...
It hurt to think. Ached to breath. The action of dragging one feet behind the other was enough to spring tears to her eyes.
Lips of sandpaper were not appeasing to the scaly tongue that slipped across them. Her throat burned hotter than feverish eyelids. The metaphysical anchor drowning her in the seas of fatigue was dampened only by the searing wetness running down the length of her back. Hot liquid rolled over the undulating ridges of her exposed spine, speckling green grass with pitter patters of blood.
Such a sorry sight was she. Once proud and strong, now mutilated. Naira's flesh told of unknown horror - bruises and scars in different stages of healing, pallor from blood loss, several long and ragged claw marks exposing pearlescent vertebrae ...
She didn't remember from whence she came.
Nor how she got here.
But the song of the forest was welcoming. So much so that she collapsed face first into the plants once her body crossed under the woodlands' canopy.

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
Kit was snuggled up in a tight blue ball of fur among the tree branches. She was pleasantly deep in slumber in the cool shade. As she slept, a sound of something hitting the ground nearby caused her right ear to twitch. Kit kept to herself as she always did. She couldn't remember anything from her past or her origin; so since her arrival to this forest, she found it best not to go out of her way to greet anyone or make new friends. She was always a loner by nature; she found it hard to try to trust others or difficult on how to befriend anyone. The scent of blood captured her noses attention. She sniffed the air as she slowly raised her head from behind her long puffy tail. After locating the direction of where the origin of the blood was coming from; Kit opened her glowing yellow eyes. She opened her mouth wide in a huge yawn, exposing her razor sharp teeth. Kit then ushered herself to stand on her four paws and stretch the tired out of her body. Once fully awake, Kit effortlessly jumped out of the branches and landed soundlessly onto the damp soil of the forest floor. Kit then looked around to make sure there was no other beings about. Once satisfied that she was indeed alone; Kit trotted toward the edge of the forest to see what was going on.
After several minutes, she arrived at the forest edge, she sniffed about trying to see where the now potent scent of blood was. Was it food? Was it someone in trouble? What was it? Kit's stomach growled at the thought that there might be a free meal. It had been a couple days since she last ate anything. Her nose twitched as her ears swiveled about. There was no noise. Kit swished her tail as she scanned around for danger. Then she saw it; the source of blood. There was a strange being lying on the ground. Kit trotted along the forest line, eager to make sure it was dead so she could eat. She licked her lips as she got closer. There was so much blood. Kit stopped several feet away and looked at it curiously. She had never seen anything like this wandering the forest or anywhere that she knew of. She crept closer and sniffed it's wrist. It didn't smell old. Maybe it was a fresh kill? Kit stood up and looked around to see if there was a predator around that belonged to this....whatever it was.

Trying to swallow was the rough equivalent to forcing a bushel of nails down her throat. Too dry were her eyes to open. To weak were her limbs to untangle.
There was no respite from the heat. What shade was provided by the dense forest's intertwining branches remained warm despite the dark. Yet it was refreshing. And bright beyond the pink of closed eyelids. Nairahad known darkness for too long.
Hadn't she?
With wounds continuing to weap, turning yellow dandelions crimson, the faint rise of shallow breaths was the only sign of life.
Her skin would feel cold and clammy.

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
Kit sniffed the thing lying in front of her. It was odd to look at. But then it caught her attention; the almost silent sound of breathing. The thing was STILL ALIVE! Kit jumped back several feet and hunched her back with her fur standing on end almost like a razor back. Kit whined out a growl of unease as she tucked her now fluffed out tail underneath herself. She yipped while snapping her jaws open in shut out of nervousness. Her ears were plastered back against her head as she crept closer while hunched. Kit glowed slightly and nipped at the things head of hair. No reaction. She grabbed a mouthful of hair and pulled. When the thing moaned slightly she dropped its head and jumped back. Kit was on edge with this thing. Yes it was hurt; yes it was weak. But this thing was WAY bigger than her. Kit chuffed slightly before approaching again. She had to hide her new find. Once it died properly she would feast on this interesting thing. She didn't want to share, whatever this thing was.
Kit circled the being trying to analyze how to move such a creature. She knew her two-legged form was too weak to carry the thing. She cocked her head to the side and perked her ears forward as she sniffed the beings clothing. Keeping her tail tucked beneath her, Kit grumbled a moan as she opened her jaws and snapped them shut on the beings' pants. She then again put her ears back as she pulled with all her strength. The being began to move along the ground. Kit yanked again and again, slowly pulling the being deeper into the forest. The being had some weight to it; but she had pulled some heavier prey before.
After several hours, Kit dropped the thing and panted as she surveyed the area. Now the next hardest task was getting this heavy object into the trees. Kit had to catch her breath before trying such a task. She sat down next to the limp body before settling down into a lying position. She kept her ears and head on a swivel to defend her prey. There were few dangers in the forest; but Kit trusted no one even if they tried to befriend her. She had a rough recent past leading to the finding of the forest. Anything before that; she couldn't remember. The only thing that mattered to her at the present moment was to soon fill her now empty belly and her depleted fat reserves.

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
Pen was a ten year old grey koala who watched from the safety of the tree as he saw the cat dragging something with it. He had gone up earlier to eat a few apples as he had been feeling a bit hungry. Being on his own after being thrown out of his colony had been a bit of challenge and it was a bit harder on him as his mother had died when he was quite young. He had always been a bit smaller then the other koalas. Still the others made fun of him and essentially drove him out as he had decided to wear a diaper around his bottom to feel a bit closer to his mother.
He cried for her at night sometimes as she came to him during his sleep. He wanted to spend more time with her, but always felt a bit too short. Yet he did have one friend if you call her friend. A closet monster by the name of Cauldron. She always found some kind of mischief to get Pen in, though she mainly enjoyed playing with him at night to feed on his nightmares. She usually let him stay a bit longer, as he knew liked to be a bit reluctant to be changed at times. Still she found it a pretty fun game to play with him. Cauldron as could take on any form she pleased, though she tended to stick with the frame of a rabbit. Cauldron had always been the age of 4 most of her life as the timeline she came from most closet monsters had already died off and children were very protected.
So she along with her sisters had to find ways to scare the adults, be it setting certain wars in order, or starting up talk shows, but mainly they enjoyed creating a bit of music to pass the time. They had grew board of it after a while and decided to travel to a friendlier time and it is during their little adventure they met Pen the koala out in the woods.

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
...where...
Naira was unaware of the creature at her feet. Nor had she any sense of her pant leg being tugged at, the ungraceful bumps and dips as her near-lifeless carcass was dragged across ragged stones and uneven land.
She heard panting, but it spunded so faint and far away...
... And water.
water
So close. Perhaps. Her sandpaper throat screamed for relief.
Movement stopped. That trickle of liquid sanctuary was so close.
water
Opening an eye was a bit like ripping glue from the flesh. Naira swallowed air - a trembling breath that raked a hot knife along her back.
Intermingling with the scent of spring water - the iron of blood.
"...wa...ter...," she wheezed weakly, fingers faintly grasping dirt and grass in fhe direction she thought the stream sounded it was in.

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
Kit yawed while still panting; she was almost done catching her breath from the labor of dragging the strange creature this far into the forest. The fox sniffed the air and looked up a nearby tree to see a small koala. Kit saw that the tiny diapered creature was no threat to her prey. Slight movement distracted her from gazing at the tiny creature in the tree. Her prey was trying to crawl to the nearby tiny stream. Kit tilted her ears forward as she watched her large prey slowly pull itself away. She stood up and wagged her tail slightly. She could play with her prey before it died. Her instincts encouraged the practice. Kit crouched before pouncing several feet in the air and landing lightly on the creature's back. It frustrated Kit at how the impact of her landing didn't seem to make the creature flinch. She was too light for the weak being to notice. Kit groaned and nipped at the being's hair before darting off of it and stopping a foot in front of it. Kit bowed in her play stance and wagged her tail as she yipped and barked at the thing's face. Then quickly jolted forward and grabbed a hold of the creature's shirt and yanked the being into the water that was just behind her.
Kit dropped the being in the water and pranced about it while nipping at it's slow moving limbs as it tried to move about. After several minutes, Kit shook off some of the water that landed on her. With all this play, it made her thirsty. Kit lowered herself down into a crouch and began to lap at the cold clear water that ran through the tiny creek.

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
As Entropy drifted through the treetops, caught up in thought about wars of the distant past and plans for the distant future, she suddenly realized that she hadn't actually thought about what she was doing right now for... a while.
So... what had she meant to get up to?
She wracked her brain for another while, and... came up blank. Welp, whatever it was, she supposed it was a loss now.
"Never get old," she mused aloud.
Then she paused, and a look of irritation crossed her face.
"I'm not old!" she shouted suddenly, eyes blazing red. "I may be ancient, but who the hell just called me old?"
Her gaze shifted about, but she didn't see anyone nearby.
"Ha. Running and hiding, are you? The insults of a coward are meaningless."
Satisfied to have that quarrel resolved, Entropy decided it was time for lunch. Or maybe dinner. She wasn't sure which, since she'd lost track of time earlier. Hazard of being as old as she was.
It wasn't that her mind had physically declined. That would never happen to her. Entropy had matured to her physical pinnacle long ago, but even after mountains rose up and wore back to the ground again, she would never age beyond that. But her memory had been full to the bursting for a long time, so each new moment she experienced had to overwrite old knowledge, or else she would fail to retain it.
But anyway. Food.
She did remember finding a stream a little ways south of her current location some time ago. (Exploration of this forest where she planned to dwell for a while was important after all, so the geographical knowledge she had picked up was a shoe-in for retention.) And where there was water, there were fish. Usually. At least, she could follow the stream until she found some. So that was where she set her course.
Upon arriving closer, however, Entropy heard a rather noticeable splashing in the water, and it didn't take her long to pinpoint the source. She drifted silently for a bit, unseen among the treetops, as she made up her mind as to what she was looking at. But, indeed, it appeared to be a fox of some sort dragging a barely-conscious person into the stream. Quite a feat, she had to admit. But also, that was bad.
Of course, to be fair, Entropy would eat just about anybody and their parents, but the ones shaped like herself were pretty stringy as a rule, and others of their sort usually held it against you if you did. They also didn't generally approve if you stood by and watched one of them get drowned and eaten, either. Not that there were likely any others close by to see, but it would go a long way toward avoiding a reputation for unbecoming behavior if she actually had a witness to spread word of her decency and moral uprightness. Which this person in the water would probably be if she saved them.
She mulled this logic over in her head for a bit longer so as not to risk an overabundance of haste in her decision making, and to assure herself that she wasn't just trying to simply justify an act of un-demonic altruism, but ultimately decided it held enough merit to follow. So with that, she flew down, putting her back to the sun so she wouldn't have to squint.
"Attention, fox or fox-like entity!" she called down, just in case the creature was one of the ones they had around here that could comprehend verbal language. Oblivious that she had positioned herself to appear as a bat-winged, arrow-tailed, black silhouette looming in the sky above the animal she addressed. "Your present actions are most likely unacceptable according to the prevailing laws and customs of this and other nearby regions! Unless this is demonstrably untrue, I must demand that you cease this behavior immediately!"
She decided the civil course would be to give the fox-entity a chance to respond before proceeding, but she didn't intend to wait too long before moving to pull the possibly-drowning person back out of the stream.

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
Weight on her back. Not heavy, not light. But not-so-delicate paws prattled across her exposed spine and a twisting knife of white hot agony played the xylophone along her bones.
Naira writhed, hissing, feebly shrugging her shoulders as if to dislodge the thing. But in a blue flash there was a yipping, a tugging ... and the overwhelming cold of beautiful, refreshing water encompassing her weak body.
Submerged. Wasn't it only a stream? But Naira sank. And sank.
Dark depths. Ice stretching into the cracks between joints. A sudden pressure overwhelmed her. Naira's blurred vision swam with dark blues and shadows.
One of which crossed the distance between them in a blink. Long, gnarled digits erupted from the shapeless blob. They extended to either side of her neck, closed in, and squeezed.
this is familiar, isn't it?
Naira choked. She fought the hold, but her own hands slipped through the black claws. They weren't there, they weren't there.

Naira's eyes snapped open.
She wasn't under the water, and the stream wasn't deep. Face-down on wet pebbles but nothing more.
Desperation took hold. She pushed herself up weakly on shivering limbs and dipped her mouth towards the cool stream, lapping up the fluid like an animal that had just crossed the desert.
Too engrossed in her acitivies to hear the commotion around her.

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
Kit stopped her drinking. She looked up at this giant creature above her. It had spoken to her about doing something wrong. She had no idea what it was talking about. Kit moaned out a growl as her fur began to stand on end. She was nervous, but wasn't about to give up her food without a fight. "GO AWAY! THIS IS MY FOOD! I FOUND IT FIRST!"
Kit barked and snapped her jaws. Now she was looking like a angry fox shaped blue and white puff ball. Kit did a bluff charge toward the large beast before backing up a couple paces. "GO AWAY! I'M WARNING YOU! MY FOOD!"

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
Entropy darted backwards at the fox's lunge, even though she was still well off the ground. Then she grew rather hot under the collar.
"Your... your food!?" she stammered, bouncing about left and right in the air in a quite agitated fashion. She thrust an accusing finger out towards the fox. "Why you... roguish puffball!"
Losing sight of her original purpose, Entropy searched about for any argument to throw back at the fox.
"You say it's your food. But I say this is my stream!"
To illustrate this claim, Entropy raised a hand up, and a section the stream rose up out of its bed, like a wide rope of water flowing through the air momentarily before falling back down again.
"And if it's in my stream," she jabbed a thumb against her chest, "then it's my food!"
Entropy held her hand out to the side and a shaft of white hot flame the length of her own body formed in it, which she then took in both hands and held like a fighting staff. A menacing quiet came over her as she drifted to the ground and glowered. Now she spoke in a voice of cold malevolence, countenance darkening to silhouette with one eye gleaming red.
"If you would fight me for what is mine, I will show no mercy."

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
Her head was screaming. Her spine was a rod of molten fire. Her eyes were burned and scorched. Naira paid no mind to the argument behind her and was keen to continue doing so for the sake of the delicious water she gulped down greedily - right up until the stream was plucked from its bed before her vision. And dropped. Unceremoniously. A torrential wave drenched the parts of her that had remained dry as the water's flow streaked red from the weeping, agitated wound on her back.
Frustration simmered at her core: hissing agitation that rose to a roar as Naira was finally able to discern the bickering. Over her? For food?
The dryness of her throat resolved, Naira's voice finally found its footing. So did her body. She stood uneasily and turned with a growl, dragging a hand down her face partially to cover her eyes from the brightness of the sun.
"Will ... you ... two ... shut UP?!" she bellowed, her other hand pointing at them.
Something black and shadowy projected iself from her digits, snapping like a whip into the stream's bank. Dirt and pebbles were thrown in all directions. One sizeable rock pelted Naira on the brow. As she finally managed to squint into the distance, the black residue subsided back into her arm before it's owner had a chance to detect it.
"My body is mine and mine alone. I'm not lunch so you can both kiss my a - "
Naira stepped forward but still could nit see clearly. Dragon talons slipped on a submerged stone and she became this fantastical thing of flailing limbs and skybound legs. Her mangled back came down hard and she screamed, twisting.
"God ... Damnit!"

Kit growled with all the ferocity she had in her. This thing before her was challenging her for her found food and claim to the water! She was slight unnerved by the water being removed and placed back.
Kit drew in all of her strength and allowed her temper to lose grip. She wasn’t going to let someone else steal her food. Black vapor began to radiate from her blue fur. She barked and yowled as her fur became black. She laid her ears back and exposed her sharp fangs as her eyes went from yellow to red.
“I warned you...” Kit snapped her jaws as she stalked forward. She meant business. This was war!

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
As the humanoid spoke, Entropy's gaze shifted to her. She assumed the dark tendril that shot forth and struck the bank was part of the woman's attempt to make a point. But...
Oh, right, that one wasn't supposed to be food. The fox had gotten her so angry that she was all turned around. But she was already too high on adrenaline to come back down now. Still, she should probably do what she could to salvage her original plan.
"If you're awake, will you please just run!" Entropy shouted to the scaly-feeted woman.
But seeing the stranger fall down, Entropy moved the stream again, this time sending a more forceful torrent to try to push her out of it and onto dry land.
Then she turned her attention to the fox, who was looking more dangerous now.
"My food!" Entropy hissed.
She herself hopped sideways into the stream, then waved the fiery staff down through it. A cloud of scorching steam rose up around her, and swirled out into the shape of many arrows. Entropy thrust the staff forward, and the arrows all flew towards the fox, seeking their target under Entropy's guidance.

Kit watched her opponent hop into the stream after pushing her prey onto dry land. Next thing she knew, steam made arrows were flying right toward her. Kit stood her ground and opened her mouth allowing flames to rupture out.
The fox demon was now at her darkest state. She refused to have this thing before her claim her prey.

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
Somewhere between being hoisted into the banks by a rogue stream and listening to the screaming threats (and plea for her to run), Naira felt a growing sense of 'mother hen'-ing coming one.
The Reaver stood on groaning legs. Every bruise hissed for relief. Blurry eyes attempted to register what was going on, but all was still hazy. She could make out just enough. The important bits, at least ...
"Will you - "
A yipping chlorine, from blue to black.
" - both just - "
Arrows of steam. Taking shape. Taking flight.
" - chill the - "
Fanning flames from a fanged maw.
" - hell OUT?!"
Naira didn't remember walking. Her body appeared to move on its own accord. That was okay - she was right where she needed to be. And she regretted it.
Boiling water vapors pierced the already mangled backside that faced Entropy. A burning inferno scorched the flesh on her front. Somewhere between the blinding pain and the stench of bleeding, singed flesh she was able to recall burning clothes were not a good thing and pat her shirt out. What was left of her top hung from her in ruined rags, with just enough hanging to preserve what modesty she had left.
Naira gasped and wheezed, agony sprinting a marathon through nerve endings already bombarded by a sensory overload. An glaring aura dominated foggy eyes. The Reaver blinked several times to no avail.
"I'm ... not ... , " she wheezed, desperately trying to collect thoughts that were quickly flittering away, " ... food ... I don't even ... taste good, I've ... been told." The rivulets of blood from steam piercings and burned, cracked meat trickled until they were no more. Their remnants evaporated from her skin, which sealed to hide thatbthe injuroes had even existed.
Too bad the same courtesy wasn't extended to her backbone ...
"You'd be disappointed ... Many have tried. So ... Stop bickering over inedible goods. It's stupid."
Oh, the world was spinning so fantastically ... Naira slowly turned, ongoing past Entropy and briefly touching the succubus' shoulder without realizing who it was.
"I need to sit," whispered Naira. One step, two steps ... Then a sprint to some bushes as her stomach loosed its contents.

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
Entropy felt a twinge of hope for the situation as the half-draconic woman began to stir, but then winced as she wandered into the line of fire and was burned by fire and steam. Of course. She must have been delirious. Entropy felt another twinge of relief, however, seeing that the woman didn't fall from those new injuries, and in fact seemed to heal rather quickly. Other than a nasty wound on her back that had opened her backbone, apparently.
For her own part, Entropy instinctively dashed to the side, strafing out of the way of the fox's fire blast. She didn't fear fire, but there was more to this fox than had initially been apparent, and Entropy didn't want to risk any unknown properties its attacks might have had.
The woman didn't run as Entropy had hoped, but she did move past where Entropy now stood, clapping the felcaeri on the shoulder as she passed. Entropy took advantage of that small bit of luck, keeping herself between the stranger and the fox, standing defensively with the fire staff at the ready.
"I don't really want to eat you," she summoned the patience to say to the other woman, though she was frustrated. "I'm trying to save your life here. I'm sorry, but I can't lower my guard right now."
Still, maybe she could try shifting tactics.
"You hear that?" she said to the fox, as the woman continued on towards the bushes to empty her stomach. "She just said she doesn't taste good. Maybe neither one of us should eat her."

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
The angered Kit’s eyes glowed red as she watched her prey get in between their attacks. Her ears swiveled slightly as her prey said she didn’t taste good. Typical prey. Then she stumbled past her opponent and began to vomit. Her opponent then began bargaining with her on not eating the prey due to not tasting good? Kit growled in frustration. All prey said this! Who would want to be eaten? Kit barked angerly and snapped her jaws, smoke escaping between her bared fangs.
“Give me...my prey! It’s MINE!” Kit screamed. Her roared barks could be heard along with her words she telepathicly bellowed. “What prey wants to be eaten?! Of course they say they don’t taste good!” with that Kit snapped her jaws and charged toward the two women.

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
Naira gave a final heave and shoved back, dragging the burned and torn clothe of her sleeve to clear the sick from her lips. This outfit was getting torched later, to be sure. But not right now. She couldn't very well be running around with nothing but a bra up top, right?
Or ... Could she?
It's not like this is any better. For real.
"There's no need for you to, though I appreciate the sentiment," she uttered gravelly. "I'm undead. That fox could rip off my head and it'd reattach itself."
Naira blinked once, twice ... Her good eye refocused on the one dead set to be her guardian. A tsunami of emotion crossed over her face. Excitement. Relief. Dread. Dear. The Reaver stepped forward a little quickly, gaze widening.
"En-Entropy?! You're ... Here. Safe! How did ... ? Are the others ... ?"
She was keen to run to the felcaeri and lump her into a bear hug, but then came the angry black fox charging at them both. Naira groaned frustration. Quickly she tore her demolished shirt from her body and threw it into Kit's face.
"Seriously, now! A Reaver and a Succubus? Are we really enemies you'd wanna make? I devour souls." She sidestepped the incoming vulpine, pushing Entropy out of the line of fire while twisting away. "You keep saying food. I get it! You're hungry. But there's other ways about this!"

Re: Naira - "Look what the cat dragged in"
Entropy gave the half-dragon a considering glance. Undead? And able to reattach her head even if it got ripped off?
That was so cool! Entropy briefly thought about asking if the stranger if she would let her see that, but... it probably wasn't the best time. And also, she thought the undead woman might not really want to, considering that she didn't actually seem too keen on being eaten either.
And even if she had been so inclined, that line of thought was interrupted as the woman gave her a sudden look of... recognition? Then called her by name. Expressed relief that she was safe. Asked about... the others?
Entropy was confused. But before she could say so, the fox again demanded its prey and came charging forth. Entropy's attention snapped back to that situation, and she prepared to cast--
The undead person pushed her, and threw the remains of her shirt at the fox. The beginnings of Entropy's spell fell apart, and an uncontrolled burst of water sprayed up from the stream in all directions. Losing visibility as well as balance from all of this, Entropy gave a hard beat of her wings and threw herself backwards to safer ground, hoping the other woman really was as safe for her own part as she claimed. She landed unsteadily and stumbled a bit, but managed to right herself.
Entropy decided she'd stick with the idea of trying to talk the fox down, mostly because it wouldn't do for her and the undead woman's efforts to conflict with one another, but she acknowledged that the fox wasn't an easy mark in that regard.
"Yeah, there's plenty of fish in the stream," Entropy said, meaning it literally. "And they won't be as prone to killing you."
She thought about this...
"I mean, unless you happen to catch a magical fish. But one of those might grant you three wishes! Er, uh... unless it evolves into a big sea serpent that shoots a Hyper Beam at you. But that'd be cool too!"
