I love Alf. I've been reading this for about a year now. >.< My AP English class kept getting in the way.<br>

Although, soon, I may stop to read the Harry Potter book, Half Blood Prince. Still haven't read it. >.<

Yep there are quite a few strange people in academia, that's true. I know a few originals that really fit <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>all</em><!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> the mad scientist stereotypes!<br>
<br>
But overall us scientists are pretty "normal" people, really. On average we have just as many (or few) nerdy, introvert or mad people as any workplace have. There are a few really bright minds here and there, but most are just hard working people like in any workplace; people doing what their work description entails -- to research stuff and further human knowledge as a profession. <br>
<br>
So contrary to popular belief the average scientist is not mad nor old nor has white hair standing on end. We don't go around in lab coats all day either. I wear jeans and T-shirt to work, normally. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v66/V ... /smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br>
