Personally, I prefer Halloween songs.

Said Viz to the surprise of absolutely no one.
He asked us: "Be you angels?"
And we said, "Nay. We are but men."

... horror-like songs that reference monsters, vampires, werewolves, and the like, such as the Monster Mash, Thriller, Ghostbusters, Grim Grinning Ghosts, Purple People Eater, Ghost Riders in the Sky, Werewolves of London, or This is Halloween.

There's also modern bands that do entirely Halloweeny songs... while not "traditional," they do fit the sprit... like any song by Rob Zombie, Creature Feature, Darkest of the Hillside Thickets, the Creepshow, or the numerous Psychobilly bands out there.

Maybe not as well known or well loved as Christmas songs, but hey :P

I'm weird.

Oooooh, now I get what you mean! I really thought like literally..."Merry Halloween, we're so scary, bla bla bla" lyric songs or something along those lines. Seemed weird :P Thanks for explaining ^_^

And for some reason all I can think about is 'London Burning' by the Clash.

That is totally not weird! That's stuff that Grey and Gloom would sing! C'mon, did you not read the Halloween thread? :P

And there is a song called Do They Know It's Hallowe'en ;)

I'm sure the residents of Halloweentown would also find it perfectly normal, and Grey and Gloom would fit right in there! But no, it really is weird :P

And lol, that was actually funny! Could have used a slightly faster beat though D:

It's -21C out, and the furnace is on the fritz.

Viz's solution? Walk three blocks over to the Tex-Mex place, order a large burrito, and get the hottest salsa, extra jalapeños, and some ghost pepper sauce tossed on there.

I am in pain, but no longer cold.

GENIUS!

And, with a lot of hard work and a little luck, he may one day taste again. :p

Seriously, man. Ghost pepper sauce?

It actually wasn't that hot... must take some of the kick out so Canucks can eat it.

I am certifiably insane, yes.

So, I guess it's supposed to be about five more minutes until the end of the world right now, apparently. And here I am without any popcorn.

And I didn't notice much happen. I mean, I'm sure the world ended there and all, and I just wasn't paying enough attention, but I really thought it would be a bit noisier than that.

So, how's the afterlife treating everyone?

Huh... what a pleasant way for the world to end! Those meteors must have been invisible as well as soundproof.

Afterlife's good Lux, quite good. How about you?

There's not enough coffee up here.

I mean ... wings are nice. But no coffee?

Wow.

That was my first insomnia-filled night since college.

You know, I think I've figured out why nobody's visited me.

You lot all think that 10C is cold, and 0C is freezing... and then Viz comes along griping about -20C weather.

That's like Circle of Protection: Americans, isn't it?

(Europeans are not included in this gripe because a flight across the pond costs a pretty penny)
