Power of Three aired recently.

:]

I hope I wasn't the only one laughing whenever Eleventh couldn't sit still for very long. Doing chores ... painting a fence ... bouncing a soccer ball of his knee ... fixing the car ... all under an hour? Heh. Also Rory's dad got some more time in the spotlight. I love how accepting he is of the whole thing. Would've been grand to have him tag along for a trip or two.

It was very relieving to see Rory and Amy continue along with the Doctor. It didn't seem fitting for them to go on and leave when they work so well in those odd situations. Also makes you wonder what exactly is going to happen to cause them to go ... ?

Yeah! They don't seem to to mind continuing to travel after all, and now even with the dad's blessing, how in the world would they say no? They probably won't die, so something has to happen. Something big I hope, to justify their decision :D

But it was a good episode! Some more hints at deeper emotions from the Doctor, and so much silliness, lol. Also the dad's diligence at doing his duty was hilarious, lol. Was also nice to see Rory move up in the world of hospitals, good for his ego.

The enemy on the other hand...I kinda already forgot his motives already >.> He was just an excuse for all the other stuff to happen anyway :p

Right?

Seems like now, there has to be some huge reason for them to leave, since they don't really want to part from the Doctor's side.

Also ...

Brian: How long were they away?
The Doctor: I don't know what you're talking about Brian.
Brian: Because they're wearing totally different clothes from earlier.
The Doctor: Seven weeks. I got sidetracked. A lot.

I finally got down to watching the cowboy episode and the cubes... Cubes freaked me out, cus you just KNEW they were bad and when they finally started doing something it was kinda... anticlimatic. The villain was a little boring, way too easy to deafeat... But all the other stuff going on was nice, especially Brian. :D

I'm there with the others, wondering how on earth they'll get rid of the Ponds... And how the Doctor will deal, cus they've become really, really close. Much closer than he's been with all the other companions, except Rose.

I actually kinda liked the cowboy episode but I guess it's kinda my thing. Especially Susan, the horse. I laughed a lot at that. And the cyborg gunslinger, yummy. I like cyborgs. 8)

I just watched the next episode The Angels Take Manhattan, and yeah, it was good. Very, very good. First time watching an episode as it airs, wooooo! :grin

I kinda loved it, and kinda got a little (lot) teary eyed at the end D: Tricky people, making you think it's all ok when it's not!!! And I have to say, they got in a very good reason for separating them from the doctor, and his response was great too (though honestly, he could have just grabbed Amy and dragged her back, but then she would have just slapped him or something, and things would have ended the same anyway). I loved all the little scenes with the two respective couples in it, it was just so perfect as an "ending" episode.

I'm happy with this episode.

(Statue of Liberty thing however was a little over the top stupid though :P )

I absolutely love River's interaction with the Doctor, as always. She didn't seem very bothered by what happened to them, which I guess ... might be fitting? Amy and Rory might have been her parents, but being separated from them around the time of her birth and growing without them would greatly affect the way she felt towards them.

Scott and I both bawled a bit at the episode's end. Pathetic. xD

Bittersweet. Amy and Rory still have a long, happy marriage together. Just ... decades ago. Dead now. :[

Noting the passage of time between the last episode and this one, though. How many years passed? Long enough for age to start kicking in, if Amy needs glasses to read.

Actually, you make a point. While she may not have been raised by them as their child, the three of them were best friends throughout their childhood at least...that would have warranted more of an emotional response from her as well.

Yeah ... I never saw the second part of the episode where River dies ...

SHAME!

Also, I think Amy and Rory should have totally said that to River when they found out who she was.

Donna - great companion, or greatest companion? :P
He asked us: "Be you angels?"
And we said, "Nay. We are but men."

Greatest. =D Everybody else was hung up on wanting a relationship with the Doctor.

Save for Amy.
