Amongst his other characteristics, Deen had a great deal of patience. Heh... one thing Thoee had also taken into account in choosing him as her mate. Patient males made very good father material. So, Deen wasn't irritated by Jenna's movements and reactions or her words. If anything, he understood her difficulties. Him and Thoee had "been there and done that" with both Devon and Betts, so they'd learned quite a bit, and done their best to provide some spiritual guidence. Or just a friendly face, when needed.

Well.........

Thoee remained close to Devon, no words, just her warm smile as she sat on her haunches and watched her male work. Perhaps she may have been more suited in the area of easing a confused spirit like Jenna's, but presently, Deen's technical expertise, and the simple fact he'd stepped in first, made her respect his space. And her smile was not the only part of her giving off warmth. She enjoyed watching him move, enjoyed hearing his voice... at this time of year, simply enjoyed him, in all aspects. So, she watched and listened while...

... Deen considered his "patient". Also watched and listened, to both her and Devon. Grinned at the donky-boy's "trust" assurance. And, as more words passed and he waited, he chuckled at the whole situation...

... "We'd be glad to help, though Thoee and I were both born as we are... well, smaller and not as well educated back then, but... heh... you get what I mean." A twitch of ears and ruffle of mane... "And Devon, at least you have the pants in this group..." Grin... "so, heh, no need to feel lame, right?"

A "come here" gesture in Jenna's direction, "marble" in hand, to remind her of his request and her question...

... "It's so I can touch your forehead with this........."
