It was getting crowded here. Ceriaos made a fast count. Five creatures if he didn't count the unconscious ones with. A little too many for him. He started to retreat to the forest but the sudden yelling from Grimyth made him turn around and look back. Unfortunately he haven't heard any of the other things that had been said.
He started to move around the group to put a little distance to the rest still limping on his leg. He heard a well-know voice “its quiet a show huh?” he looked around him for the source “down here bonehead” he looked down at his shadow an saw that his shadow suddenly had red glowing eyes. “you should draw your dagger. This is not safe grounds.” “oh what makes you think that.” Ceriaos replayed with a voice almost dripping with sarcasm and drew his dagger and moved on.
He was in position on the other side of the group but then he saw a fatal mistake in his plan. He was out in the open with no where to hide and because of his leg he won't be available to run away. He cursed loudly before realizing he made another mistake.

Falling was the word for this motion. Well more like crashing down the side of a steep surface and bouncing, only to do it again.

"*OW* You made a *OW* swear!"

Came the shout from the crater as the pirate kept falling towards the source. It was shallowing out now, the cliff face. After a few more bounces Juno could get upright and...

OOooohhh boy... could the place please stop spinning? I'd like to get off

After standing up on the not quite so steep surface and losing his footing a few times, Juno finally got enough sense to look around, namely to avoid a nasty trip in the future.

A big hole. That's all that could be really said about it. Well that and the heat radiating down there... problem is with the recent explosion it was difficult to make heads or tails down there. So plan B is to get back up and...

Get back up and...

GET BACK UP.

This wasn't going to work. As soon as Juno would try to run up the side of the slope it would become too steep and down he'd go. Juno was trapped down there. So there was only one thing to do. Fist clenched and glare towards the heavens, Juno focused his spur of the moment rage, concentrating it into his words, hating with all his hate.

"You win this time Gravity! But I swear I will have my revenge!"

Rekka faced the girl when she questioned him, but he continued to wear the same amused smirk. He noticed the Hellhound's appearance right away, but gave no indication of it, preferring to keep the mage's attention on himself and away from the creature as it approached the smallest unicorn. Zom, on the other hand, made a point of not looking in that direction, though she was discreet about it so as not to ruin what she knew Rekka was trying to do.

But the mage decided to make use of her powers anyway, preventing the morbid show from happening. This did send the Hellhound into something of a rage, though, and that was something to see at least.

"Friend or foe?" Rekka repeated casually after the outburst. "These unicorns aren't my concern."

And with that, he moved to the side of the crater.

"I'm more interested in this big hole we've got here," he said, watching Juno's antics again with some level of interest.

Zom, meanwhile, had noticed a noise and some movement off to the side. Within moments, she was standing in front of the walking corpse. The walking corpse that wasn't her.

"Now, why might you be sneakin' around with a dagger?" she asked.

Grimyth Snorted smoke from his flared nostrils, Still emitting a low chest-rattling growl to any who looked as a threat to him, mainly the world eater for her good intentions to the unicorns. He began walking back a few heavy paces, dragging his long claws in the ground as he did so.
Moving away and circling round towards the crater, he was weary but determined to find those responsible for this destitution in hope for some clarity.

"I'v used toothpicks bigger than that puny little witch!...Why dose everyone spoil a harmless hellhound fun..." He mumbled to himself in a strop.
Once more The Doom dogs body grew transparent, looking away and down the crater he sniffed the air around the opening, Then slowly and carefully the hound from hell clambered down the creator as best as he could, seeing the the familiar pirate. Raising a brow in question to his actions, smiling once more before turning round to concentrating on more concerning matters in this land.

"Not sure if this is work of my side or not?...although the heat radiation has its similar trait to my kin...the beauty of it is remarkable for the damage" He muttered to himself quietly, curling his tongue along his the row of sharp teeth.
He paused then turned round again to the pirate, as only He and the walking corps was his only familiarities among the rabble, he questioned where the Nekomimi's loyalties lie.

(Really enjoying this RP :thumbsup )

Lyrial was able to relax just a little, though she did not drop her guard. For one, there was the hellhound. Though for the most part he seemed to have backed down, she could not trust him. Than there was the other two, plus a new person wielding a dagger, and Juno in the crater. She did not trust any of them...for various and/or obvious reasons. "You have not answered my question." She said looking at Rekka and than at Zom. "So I will ask again, who are you? Are you here to help or hinder?" Than she looked at the walking dead. "Same with you, name and why are you here?"

She needed to figure out just who here was trust worthy, and who was not. The hellhound was obvious. Making threats, cursing at her. The undead corpse though, she couldn't figure out. Why had it appeared? And than there was the demon and vampire. And than worse still, was the one of pure chaos. The one in the crater...juno...

For now, she waited for the answers to her questions, and for now, she would conserve her magical strength...for she would need it, and most likely sooner than later. Though she wished that she really would not need it.

Things were getting pretty tense here. He could fell it in the air. Again he ran through his opportunities in his head. He heard a sound from the hole in the ground and his focus shifted fast. On the bottom of the hole he saw a pirate. Slowly walking over to the hole to look closer.

He Heard a voice talking to him. He turned to face the source. He thought a little over the answer “my name is Ceriaos and I am here because of curiosity.” he said slowly. “there is another question you know” the shadow muttered “oh” he turned towards the vampire “i am sneaking because I wanna avoid attention and the dagger. I don't really know why I got it...” and with out finishing his sentence he turned towards the hole again. He placed the dagger in his shoulder again. The shadow appeared behind him and looked towards the vampire and the other person. “i keep my eyes upon for you” he said to Ceriaos. He didn't answer. He had laid down on his stomach and reached out for the pirate. “i can help you up just take my hand.”

Juno had a burning rant going up, distilled with the heated anger of a thousand suns. The hamminess of his boasts layered on like the rants of an old cartoon villain.
"...and with my ashen enhanced breath I spit at thee! You, foul binding that ties me to this earth, always a way of keeping a man down! One day I shall rise up and defy you and fly about like those birds that elude me so! Furthermore I sha-"

"i can help you if you just take my hand"

Buzzkill.

"-Buh? Not now! I'm in the middle of a monologue! Didn't you just hear my rant. This is between me and Gravity! I do the defying! Me. Alone! It's not that I appreciate the offer and all, but after a lead up like that I have to make good on my word."

Juno went back to turning to looking at the sky and took a deep breath.

In an ashen crater that was still steaming.

A few hacking coughs later and with a better approach to inhaling air, he paused. Forgetting where he was going with his war on gravity, and noticing that there were at least three pairs of eyes fixated on him. It is at this time when an interesting through crossed his mind.
How the hell can I see the people looking at me? I'm in a smoking crater! Shouldn't I be invisible behind the cloud of ash? And likewise how can I see them? Man this is really awkwar-

Hey waitaminute! I'm near the source of what ever caused this thing! I bet if I went to the center of this I could get a clue as to whats been causing all these explosions! If only it wasn't so hot.

Then another thought crossed his mind.
Duhhh.... I make ice out of water. This shouldn't be too hard.

And with that Juno marched towards the middle of the crater. If he could only see down there.

(OOC: Perception roll? Seriously, I need to know what's down here otherwise I'm going to have to make this up. I can't keep saying 'more ashen clouds'.)

Some might have assumed that Juno's ability to continue breathing would indicate that any smoke in the crater wasn't too thick to see through. That would have been Rekka's hypothesis, at least, were the issue posed to him. Perhaps if Juno were to begin asphyxiating, Rekka might have been convinced of his own inability to see the pirate.

Not to suggest that Rekka wasn't impressed with Juno's oaths of defiance against gravity's tyranny.

As for this Lyrial, on the other hand...

"You mean you're not satisfied with my answer," he said dismissively, no longer bothering to look in her direction. "What you want isn't yours to demand. Try again with more respect if you would have it. Or try to compel it by force if you must, but consider that my blade isn't yet drawn and whether you want to be the reason for that to change."

"You just made a hypocrite outta me, ya know," Zom called to the incubus, who only shrugged.

She then turned back to Ceriaos and eyed the shadow behind him.

"Eh. Can't blame you for being cautious," she eventually said.

Turning her own attention to the crater, Zom scrambled to its edge and hopped in. Being undead and beyond the natural perils inherent down there, it was fairly clear to her that she would have to be the probe for Team Wrathmont.

With a flick of his ear he heard the many voices from above the crater, Quickly retuning to more concerning matters of attention. Swooping his long snake-like tail t0o and fro he walked heavy footed through the dust until he stood but a few inches away from the one and only Juno of chaos, breathing down the neck of the pirate with his Cheshire smile.

"Beautiful speech my friend, but your words fall on Gravity's non existent ears..." He chuckled as softly as he could, becoming opaque enough for Juno's eyes to see the towering dog.

"It Appears Your not so light on your feet this time i see...Trees more easy for monkeys like you to climb i guess?"
the dog grumble, Mocking juno as he made himself comfortable by resting on his haunches, hoping for a reply.
His Ears twitched again as the sound of loose soil ran down the side, indicating another creature had desired to join them. Firstly he questioned on the idea of the world eater, until a sent was clarified though the light dust cloud, Easing his mind.

"Respect?" Lyrial's eyes narrowed when Rekka said what he said. "I showed you far more "respect" than is needed for your kind when I gave my name and heritage. Simple manners say to reply in kind. It is YOU that is not showing ME any respect what so ever. Before you go mouthing off to someone about respect. Make sure you can at the very least show respect yourself! And go ahead, draw your blade, for it is powerless against the power of my spell. I wouldn't even be surprised if it broke upon impact." She said with a small mocking laugh at the end.

She does not move from her spot. Simply standing her ground. For she was not exactly bluffing about her spell (the sword would not break), so she was not scared of any attack. Just at the current moment, due to the type of spell used, and her own seal, she couldn't use much offensive magic (if any at all), so she had to hope that by getting those present to understand that attacking her is pointless she could defuse any hostilities before they even began. She just had to hope that no one there understood the power of her spell as well as she did. It would be annoying trying to fight them off with wimpy spells...of course she could always just stand there and let them attack her. She would not be harmed...but it would be annoying.

Right now all she could hope is that some form of ally would appear soon, one that would help balance out this otherwise dangerous situation.

As for what was in the crater? Well, a tree, and debris. Basically what you would expect to find inside a fresh crater that was made in a forest. Nothing special, no missiles, no spaceships, no aliens, no demons, nothing out of the ordinary really...

He stood up kind of surprised. He shrugged and stood up. Took of his hat and purred up in his hair. Some fell out of his hat. He picked it up. It was a silver necklace with a pendant. He slowly inspected it. “what do you got there?” the pendant slipped from his hands. He reached down and picked it up. He looked if it have been damaged. He saw that there was a opening on the side. He touched it it opened completely, revealing a picture on the inside. The picture is of a woman in a white dress. “Michelle?” “who is that?” the shadow asked. "it's... it's..." he stuttered “ARGH! MY HEAD!” he yelled and fell unto his knees. He huddled and took his hands to his head. “My Michelle.” he sat like that for several seconds. Before looking up, closing the pendant and putting it into his pocket. He looked up and looked out over the those who were there like nothing have happened.

((ooc: Ok, to clarify so stuff up about the crater...the group is NOT at the edge of the crater. But we are all already at the center. This is due to the fact that the crater is slightly more than half a mile across, and the unicorns are at a still standing tree in the center of the crater with lava here and there along with magical motes floating about. So that means that Juno is walking towards the group, and that those already at the unicorns are already at the center. The explosion that created the crater was very powerful, and created a large amount of debris in the crater. This is clarification from Gaeva.))

"Thanks for that passionate vote of overwhelming confidence. I feel touched, truly, I do." was the deadpan response from Juno as he tried to recall what the crater looked like from above. Right, plumes of ash and smoke obscuring some of the ground, lava pits, and the potentially loot-able bodies. Sure he couldn't figure a way to get out of the crater right now but hey! Potential wallets with currency!

With moral improved from that logic in mind he spun around only to be greeted with the image of a rather grim looking canine.

Juno's thought process went something like this:

Doggy.

Big doggy.

Really big doggy.

Oh god. Please don't pounce on me.

Please don't slobber on me.

Please don't chase me around for hours up a tree and bark like I'm a personal toy.

And-

Oh wait. Hell hound. This is the guy who was probably making fun of me. Probably not friendly. Actually... quite evil looking.

I... I can work with this.

See, Juno has a phobia of dogs. But a particular kind. Mostly the hyperactive friendly ones that drooled a little to much.

Grimyth, thankfully, wasn't that sort of dog. Though now that Juno thought about it.

Yes he technically slobbered (blood) and yes he was big, but he certainly wasn't radiating sunshine and lollipops. No this creature looked half emaciated and eager to kill. Which was rather comforting to the pirate, oddly. Whom was considering the possibility of what he would do if the creature was one of those... happy dogs.
Hypothetically, if I wasn't running in feces inducing terror from it. A vile looking creature such as this acting rather spritely would be incredibly entertaining.

So Juno, collecting his wits after realizing that the dog was more of a physical threat instead of psychological, had two options.

Talk to the dog (Ich)
Or
Head to the tree.
Through the choking smoke.
And across the lakes of lava.

Juno decided perhaps a potential traveling companion would be necessary for this venture. A metaphorical meat shield could always increase chances of survival in hostile terrain.

Now the trick that resided now was diplomacy. The right choice of words could make all the difference between ally and foe. If done right, then he might be able to persuade the wolf-thing to come with him and possibly help.

"So... what the hell spawned you?"

Or he could invite the hound to rip him into shreds. His funeral. wear a party hat. Formal attire optional.

"I owe you nothing for your boasts," Rekka said. "Give your name to a demon, and then antagonize him. Truly a brilliant move."

Then he was suddenly gone from where he had been standing.

"I don't think you took my meaning, either," his voice suddenly said from behind Lyrial, the demon having teleported back there in an instant. "It is not worth drawing my blade right now against one whose very existence I care so little about. But I wonder if your spell is always in place?"

And in the next instant, he was standing off to another side of her.

"Can it guard against one who can be anywhere?" he asked. And then he suddenly looked like a mirror image of Lyrial herself. "Or anyone?"

Disappearing one last time, he finally appeared under the tree, back in his usual form. Despite his show, he still hadn't seemed very worked up, or even concerned at all about anything that was happening. Crossing his arms, he rested against the trunk to wait for something more interesting to happen.

Zom, meanwhile, took a quick look around the vicinity. She didn't find much she hadn't expected, the magical motes and the tree that still stood at the center being the only things different from the crater of any other explosion. She did, however, spend a moment watching the zombie-ish guy as he seemed to lose it, but she shrugged that random outburst off as soon as it was over. Never could tell what that sort was going to do.

Then, looking back at Rekka and Lyrial, she wondered if she should try to keep the incubus from setting the girl off. Whatever he was doing seemed to be deliberate, though, so she thought she'd better stay out of it. Being active while the sun was up was wearisome enough without having to deal with whatever was going on there, so she'd just have to try and ignore it if she could.

Grimyth Sat for quite a while before Juno had finally turned around to see him. Highly amused at the widening eyes staring at him upon Juno's fist sight of the doom dog, Grim sat silently watching with a huge grin on his face, as the many amusing expressions proceeded along with the deep thoughts that ran threw the Pirates mind.
Unfortunately Dog's short attention span was being tested, Grim raised a brow as he was edged on the way to boredom from waiting for this highly planed out reply.

Finally Grim saw he was about to say something, Something he obviously put a lot of thought into. The Hound Leaned forward slightly in anticipation to the possibly witty, clever or perhaps highly threatening words to come from this...this...

wait...what....

That was it? He thought looking dumbfounded and quite disappointed at what he considers a Very dumb reply.

"...Seriously?...all the words in the world and you decide to jumble that together?...Im very disappointed..." He grumbled with a sigh, scratching his neck with his front paw. Debating whether if he should just swallow him hole, sending him to hell in punishment or dig a hole and berry him from the neck down and leave him there.

He cleared his thought and leaned down to look at the pirate face to face. "HELL...Hell is what spawns ME!...Would you like to see it?...its very warm down there this time of year...just climb down my throat and into the gates ye will go!..." he responded in his deep, heavy based tone, making sure Juno could see every sharp point of his teeth.
Crouching down whilst Swishing his tail back and forth, he toyed with the pirate for making him wait so long.

Lyrial's anger quickly went away when Rekka started to do his little teleportation tricks. Even she could do such things. Hell, she learned such tricks at a young age. She quickly grew board of Rekka's teleporting. Even when he changed to her, she did not blink. "To answer your questions, yes, yes, and yes. Your mere parlor tricks...are boring." She told the demon.

Than suddenly she vanished, and appeared on the opposite side of tree than Rekka. "Seriously demon," Than she vanished and reappeared off to his side, a mirror image of him and even mimicing his voice perfectly. "you should choose" Than she vanished and reappearing back in her original spot. "who you antagonize more carefully. For you are nothing more than a lowly demon. Not even worthy of any respect." She said after mocking him with his own teleporting around the place, even the mirror image.

Than she yawned, obviously bored with him. Than she realized that something else was up...a new person? Who? She looked closer at the pink haired pirate for a while. Than suddenly she recognized him! "Valentinez Alkalinella Xifax Sicidabohertz Gumbigobilla Blue Stradivari Talentrent Pierre Andrei Charton-Haymoss Ivanovicci Baldeus George Doitzel Kaiser III!? What are you doing here? Did you come here due to the explosion to?" She yelled out to him.

I never said anything about lava :p The "lava" (it's not lava at all) is coming in now, for continuity's sake let's pretend there was already some trickling up though ^_^

IC
The only thing that betrayed the seemingly returned calmness to this destroyed area was a distant groaning, which could easily be mistaken for the sound of distant trees and branches moving in the wind. It was the also the only sound not being made by the ones walking about, making it even easier to overlook it, or overhear it in this case. But it was still there, a soft groaning moan, the sound usually made by trees and wooden structures no longer securely footed to the ground. This provided the background music for the conversation, threats and exclamations made.

Until suddenly, without warning, even this stopped. And before anyone would be able to do much more than look up and notice the absence of this hardly noticeable sound in the first place, the whole place erupted once more with a loud, deafening roar that did not die down when the bodies and debris hit the ground again…

Nor did it stop when without warning select areas seemed to erupt like miniature volcanoes or geysers, shooting up bright, thick, liquids not unlike lava, and spilling them in the formed craters and crevices all around the devastated area, creating miniature little rivers of this orangy, flowing substance. Any close to it would feel a gentle warmth emanating from the thick liquid, but not enough as normally associated with actual lava. Any foolish enough to touch it, or to not move out of it’s flow fast enough, would learn that it was indeed warm to the touch, not hot at all, but also acidic in nature and able to eat through any object and texture exposed to it for more than a moment or two.

Only as the thick liquids stop shooting up from the earth and only bubble up from their respective sources does the deafening roar slowly quiet down, until eventually the only sounds left are those made by the ones present, and the occasional bursting bubble from the orangy substance now slowly flowing along various paths around the area. But that was not all. Though the environment seemed to settle down once more, looking more like an ominous warzone than it did before, the tree that had been spared still stood where it had before, apparently completely unaffected safe for a green leaf or so floating down, disturbed from their branches. Below the tree however a change was taking place simultaneously as the roar was dying down: the four bodies of the unconscious unicorns were floating upwards, and most definitely not through their own wingpower as said limbs hung uselessly by their sides. Up they went, and as the noise went silent at last, the unicorns stopped their ascend upwards to a height that would still be in reach of the average human being. Silently and unmoving the four unicorns hang limply in a circle around the last remaining tree in this completely destroyed area.

A heartbeat later a last surprise erupts all around the area in the form of swirling white energy, coming into existence at a few locations scattered about the entire destroyed area. With a soft whooshing sound each collection of white energy swirls into being, until they reach the form of an oval the size of a human being’s height. At this state they stop growing and changing shape, and simply slowly rotate their twirling white energy at a lazy pace.

Silence reigns once more, but an uncomfortable sense of foreboding can not be ignored by any still in the vicinity...
