She wasn't quite content with this situation. Hell, Windra was perturbed by it greatly. The great scavenger dragon swam through the air like it were water, circling from above while peering down with the eyes of a hawk that really couldn't see too well. Rumbling was definitely going on. The ground still cracked and jiggled. How long would this last? Surely no earthquake in the world was supposed to carry on forever. And if this was an aftershock, that was mighty damn impressive!
-: I wonder when the earth's gonna split and lava's gonna come out, :- grunted she, a frown tugging at the dimples of her beaked maw. -: Sure ain't nothin' like I ever saw before. Maybe the world's just some big egg, and it's getting ready to hatch. :-
Snide, sarcastic comments aside, she was truly worried. What would happen to those down below? Frantic bodies moved to and fro. And where the hell was Ebb? The great beast departed none too long ago, she believed. His massive form should be visible - somewhere.
For the moment she looked like a true blue vulture. Fingertip feather spread out and crinkled with the changing of the wind. Caught on a thermal, she glided effortlessly. The only difference between her and those red-headed ugly birds was that she was much, much bigger. And scaled. With a tail. And legs - four of them, to be exact. That, and she wasn't exactly circling over a carcass, eager to snatch it up. Not yet, anyway. And she certainly hoped not anytime soon. Casualties were part of life, but she knew some of those down there ...
