Shake On It...
A win-win, perhaps.
But not necessarily in the fashion Amee thought. If Tiffin had any say in it. Heh... not that he knew what was going through her head, in that reguard. He'd already plied his charms, shown he had a sense of romance in his heart, not just an animal desire. Without jacket, he simply stood there uncovered in more than body, wild and exposed, yet composed and bright-eyed with intelligence. Still "Ace"... still with that male scent, and a spirit fit to pilot a fighter plane in war. A "war" of Love.........
Woo her he would, if he died in the attempt!
With a strangely Deen-ish grin, Tiffin took Amee's hand in a strong clasp...
... "Fair deal...." His kiss to said female hand, after those two promissory words, part lick, to seal the deal.

A smile brushed Amee's features as she watched Tiffin reach for and clasp her hand. Well this was going rather smoothly... If only proper matches could be so easily arranged--
"Yeep!" Expecting a shake, the kiss to her paw surprised her. Surprised her so much her tail stood up straight and the fur around her shoulders stood up. Giggling nervously, the little shape-changed cupid pulled her palm back and brushed it on her chest, eyes suddenly darting everywhere but Tiffin himself.
"Yes well... Glad that's settled." Amee muttered, clearing her throat. "And now that that's out of the way, I guess its time I got to work. I'm only one cupid you know, and I've got a whoooole forest waiting on me to match it up." Grinning, she spread her arms wide to indicate all of Deep Forest, ending by clasping them behind her back and rocking on her heels.
"So... How's about a tour?"

"Yeep!" Expecting a shake, the kiss to her paw surprised her. Surprised her so much her tail stood up straight and the fur around her shoulders stood up. Not Settled, Really...
In the same way Amee had trouble looking at Tiffin... well, Tiffin had trouble looking away from her. She really was... ummm... really cute. And not just physically. Her whole personality... bubbled. Pop... plip... ploop! Made his heart back-flip inside his chest. Hopes, dreams... alive again. Potential to be realized. A... chance. Yes, a chance for something.........
Heh. No, not settled, really. Not fully, anyway. Wouldn't be "settled" till he either had her heart. Or she found someone else for him, should he fail. Which wasn't in his own plans. Perhaps a bit brash of him to plan so, to reach for such a ring from the back of a proverbial galloping horse, but, well, his Spirit had always reached, ever since Khee had saved him way back on that beach. And taught him to live again. Amee? Well, she'd reminded him of that lesson. What he'd forgotten since waking up to find Flycker gone from his life. He couldn't help feeling a sense of gratitude bubble up inside his own chest, in the same way other emotions bubbled out of Amee's, from her words and her grin and her gestures.
And her question...
... "A tour?"
Tiffin had enjoyed the sound of her "yeep" and the taste of her hand. Still enjoyed her scent, as it wafted around his snug little home. However, he still felt a mess, what with the feel and scent of fresh soil and crushed thyme still leaving its earthy, herbal aroma on his fur. He needed to properly groom and...
... *gurgle-growl*...
... Oh, yes. Breakfast.
Ears back and tail at half-mast... a little flick as it went down... one pawhand went to stomach and the other went to cover a slight cough...
... "Heh... ummm... you hungry?"

Amee's head tilted to one side as he echoed her.
"Yeah sure, a tour. Don't you know what a tour is? Seeing the sights, showin' me around? I am still a cupid and I do still have a job to do and I can't do it unless I go out and meet the people, canvas the hot-spots, know where all the romaaantic get aways and hidy-holes and lover's lanes are." Drawing out 'romantic', a fiendish grin took up residence amid her features and she wiggled her fingers near her chin as if she was a witch casting a spell.
She might have continued, even dragged him back outside... except that his stomach made the most interesting noise. She'd heard humans sometimes make that noise as well, though she'd never been so close to someone when it happened.
Her tail bob-twitched just behind her as interest replaced fiendish, seeming to have forgotten her shyness.
"Hungry? Oh is THAT what that noise means?" She smiled, coming closer... close enough in fact to lean down and lay an ear to Tiffin's grumbly tummy. "Me hungry? Dunno. I've Never been hungry before, so I don't know to tell. Cupids don't really do lots of normal mortal things like eat. We're too busy. Can you imagine how little work we'd get done if we had to worry about dying and pain and eating all the time?"
She giggled, covering her mouth. "I mean, look at how little you mortals get done. You barely have time for anything else except taking care of your shells."

Poor Tiffin hadn't really had time to address the whole "tour" thing before his tummy rumbled. Though, of course, he knew perfectly well what a "tour" was, just... well, he hadn't expected that. Hadn't... hadn't thought about Amee's "job", what with all that'd happened, and his... ummm... well... ahhh.........
......... Amee had her ear to his tummy.
Talk about a distraction! Poor Tiffin had a hard time holding on to anything other than her scent. And the realization she was so close he could... lub-dub, flip!... feel his heart skip a beat, as both pawhands cupped his face in embarrassment. Which helped calm the distraction, so he was able to hear at least some of what Amee said. Shells?
Ohhh, oh, yeah. For a moment there, the only shells on his mind were his nuts... no, no, not THOSE nuts!... the, ummm, edible kind... you... had to crack, to get at the good stuff, inside. For breakfast. He still had a good store of acorns, though he only had that one walnut left from his two-years-ago stash (surprisingly fresh), and would need to collect more. But Amee brought up something he hadn't considered... the fact she'd probably never eaten anything before in her life. Ohhh, he had so much to teach her! And...
... "Heh... ummm, I get enough done, really. Eating, sleeping, grooming... they all have their time and place. Can't... can't keep up all the other work if you don't take care of yourself."
......... Amee had her ear to his tummy.

"I can." Amee said brightly, straightening back up again with a shining smile... Only to have it fade into a pout, bottom lip sticking out a bit past her petite buck teeth while her arms crossed themselves over her furry chest.
"Or I COULD before someone-" She paused long enough to scamper to the portal to Tiffin's little home and shout angrily at the sky, fists balled at her sides. "-hadn't taken away my invulnerability and made it so I can bleed! That was a low blow, even for you!"
Shaking one of those balled fists skyward, Amee wasn't paying a whole lot of attention to her center of gravity, despite the content of her cloud-bound lecture... And after so many feisty pumps, jumped as she began to teeter out of the tree. Her arms pinwheeled a moment, balanced on the ball of one foot. For just a moment, it looked like she might just reestablish her balance...
And then with a white poof and a rapidly descending cry she vanished.
Fortunately with all her panicked flailing, air was able to become trapped under the skin flaps Amee had forgotten she had in place of the wings she was frantically and futilely trying to beat despite their absence. She gave a startled squeak and froze, finding herself inflated something like a parachute... and coasting now rather than falling.
"Heh... Heehee! Wow! I'm floating! HEY ACE CHECK IT OUT I'M FLO~*"
She might not have been falling anymore. Didn't mean she'd learned how to steer yet. Taking her eyes off the rising forest floor below her to look back towards Tiffin's tree, she should have been keeping an eye out for the ones in front of her because she ended up flattened against one. She wasn't very high off the ground anymore, stuck to the trunk just above the roots so she didn't have far left to fall when she ended up tumbling down head over heels into them, a little dizzy and winded.
"Clean up, isle seven..."
