Rolling off the equine was fun enough. Scarlet was never graceful - she just kind of flopped off and landed lazily on her gut. Giggling like a madman, she forced herself to come to a calm state of mind and pushed up onto her legs, brushing dirt casually off her clothes and slicking back her hair with the same hand. Clods of grass now strung up within her blond lockes.

"Ya know, if all da critters in dis place be's headin' away, mebbe we should be doin' th' same?" For all her insanity, the Juggernaut had a good head on her shoulders when it came to preserving the safety of others. "Cuz d'ere's obviously a reason. Mebbe Godzilla got hungry again, or ol' Cloverfield didn't get blasted away and wants nom noms ... " Her incessant rambling did have a point, as unlikely as it was. If something big was coming ... ?

And at that moment ... it all stopped. No rumbling. No pulsating. Nothing. Just an indescribable tension that choked the air with gruff hands.

"Volcano?"

Jahran absently watched Scarlet do her own version of a failed landing, waiting for either female to answer his question.

"We didn't see anything," Meali simply replied as she watched Scarlet as well, wrinkling her nose at the mess she made of her hair.

Before Jahran could start to demand more of an explanation, or possibly start throwing up complaints of being left behind like this with the ground going nuts below them, Scarlet interrupted. Of course without the earlier conversation it made no sense to the large stallion. Fortunately his confusion distracted him from his panic, and his ears slowly moved back up from their earlier position of fear. Scarlet made no sense to him and his confusion was about to shift to plain irritation at the lack of comprehensible answers when her final suggestion snapped him out of it.

"Volcano?!" he exclaimed, his voice slightly higher than normal. Thoughts flashed through his head, the exploding sound, the quaking, it all made sense. Were they all about to die in a stream of lava??

"There are no volcanoes here," Meali interjected, then frowned and continued, "Not that I know of anyway..." She shook her head, "Nah, we would have seen something, don't those things spit out smoke and the like?"

The light blue mare then turned to look at where Gaeva was still lying among the roots of the of the large tree, "But Scarlet does make a good point, if everybody is running away from here, away from the mountains, then maybe it's time we do the same thing until we figure out what is going on. Just in case." It sounded like Meali didn't like the idea of turning tail though.

"That may not be very easy..." Jahran said as he too looked back at the lavender mare, "I can't even get her to talk anymore, let alone move."

"We have to get her out of here, go somewhere safer... Come on little brother!" Meali said loudly as she started to move towards Gaeva, "Looks like you being so big is finally going to be useful!"

"huh?"

"We're going to drag her to safety."

In some semblance of what was left of her sanity, seeing Jahran fteak out, even momentarily, was kind of amusing. He wasn't used to the thought of natural disasters. Back where she came from it was an everyday occurrence. Another tornado ... one big ass quake across the sea ... oh and a volcano in Iceland? Shoulda seen it coming, no big deal. Just ground a couple of flights and we'll go on with our merry little miserable lives, ignoring the ash and sulfur and what have you. Pass the sugar?

She was scoffing, laughing horribly. Why was this so damn funny? She got a hold of herself relatively quickly sensing the tension in the air ... and the bitter taste left by Meali's note that they should probably make like most of the other animals in Deep Forest, and turn tail in the opposite direction.

"Hey, when yer on the battlefield, sometimes a hasty retreat is th' only thing splittin' ya between life n' death. Shiz, ya know how many times I had to be's rallyin' up mah crew and sendin' 'em back from where we be's comin' from?" The memories surged back. She bathed in that old-time glory for just a little while. "A wounded pride can always be'fixin', but once ya get shot in da brain ... ain't no comin' back from dat, no sir."

Scarlet caught onto their new motives, and followed along like a loyal sheepdog.

"How can a horse move another horse? Ya guys no be's havin' opposable thumbs n' stuff ... can I's help?"

Due to nerves Jahran actually felt annoyed at Scarlet for laughing, but this lasted only a few moments before his near panic settled back into place. Feeling so helpless and out of the loop really wasn't doing the stallion any good. At any moment the world could end for all he knew, and there was nothing he could do about it. But that wasn't what was bothering him, what bothered him was what if there was something he could have done and he simply couldn't think of it now? Nervously he followed his sister over to where Gaeva was lying among the roots of Meali's tree. He envied the mare's apparent lack of fear or even worry. Even Scarlet's ability to literally laugh in the face of danger was looking pretty appealing right about now as well. Startled he looked back as some of Scarlet's words caught him by surprise, and he repeated them in an octave higher than usual, "Shot in the brain??!"

"It shouldn't be too hard to move aunt Gaeva as long as Jahran doesn't slack off," Meali answered the red female, ignoring her brother's outburst, "But now that you mention it, just to be sure we don't hurt her, would you mind keeping a hold onto her wings to make sure we don't accidentally step on them?"

Jahran winced, "That would hurt."

Reaching Gaeva's side Meali looked at her brother and was about to retort something, when suddenly her entire body went rigid and a gasp escaped her. Before she could do anything else, or be asked what was wrong, a large figure came crashing onto the scene, trampling everything in his path. Both unicorns stared at the large dark blue figure galloping straight at them with his eyes closed, his facial expression and sounds uttered indicating he was in pain and barely aware of where he was.

"GAEVA!" he screamed, going straight for the mare without looking where he was putting his feet, nor paying attention to the three figures blocking his path.

"Dad...?" Jahran whispered in disbelief.

"Stop him! He's going to trample aunt Gaeva!" Meali shrieked as she half reared up to nudge Jahran into take action. But the black stallion backed his ears as the large muscled figure barreled straight for them and instead tried to quickly step out of the way, now also ignoring where he was putting his feet. Alarmed Meali put only herself between Geaven and Gaeva instead, unfolding her wings as if making herself appear to be larger would also increase her chance of being able to stop the charging blue stallion. "Stop! STOP!!" she screamed, but whether ignored or unheard, it didn't even make him slow down.

As Meali tensed up for the inevitable impact by the much compacter form of her father, a deep rumble could be heard again, and felt below her hooves. She didn't pay it any attention and closed her eyes, hoping she wouldn't be trampled, locking all her joints in the hopes it would help her overcome the coming blow. But it didn't come. Instead, just as she expected the large, dark blue unicorn to run into her, the world seemed to explode all around her! Suddenly all she could see was the very earth being shot up in both showers of dirt and big chunks of rock, into the sky above. For a few moments she couldn't even tell if she herself was still standing on the ground or was flying upwards as well.

Frightened she tried to look around for the others, but her view was blocked and dirt was coming into her eyes, forcing her to close them as she back up to where she knew her tree stood, along with Gaeva hopefully still lying among it's roots.

"Jahran! Scarlet!" she tried to scream and was rewarded with a mouthful of earth, making her choke. A loud whinny alerted her Jahran was standing nearby, and suddenly she felt something bump into her. Jahran for sure.

As explosion after explosion threw up more and more of the land all around them, blacking up the sky above them, Meali suddenly realize Geaven had disappeared. Reaching up with her mind she caught his location just in time to shove Jahran even more backwards, right into her Tree, and right in time before Geaven's large form plummeted to the ground. Shocked Meali glanced at him from between her eyelashes, realizing he must have been caught in outward energy of one of the eplosions and shot upwards like everything else. Had she stood a little closer to him, the same could have happened to her! The defeaning noise around her refused to let her focus, but she thought she could still pick up some life from him. He wasn't dead. Yet.

Glancing around, yet unable to see anything a foot away, feeling her face and body getting lashed with flying projectiles, Meali tried to judge the danger, but simply didn't know where to look. It was everywhere! Everywhere around them, the forest was being attacked, destroyed! In the back of her mind she knew something about that piece of information was important, and a moment later she knew. Everything around them was being destroyed, except the very spot they stood on...

Whipping her head to the side she looked at the tree she was leaning against. Her Tree. The only tree still standing most likely. Was it glowing? Then her eyes followed the trunk down to the roots and saw her aunt still lying there as well, her face a mask of agony with her eyes wide open now, but not appearing to see anything. Meali blinked. Was Gaeva glowing as well? She couldn't tell while protecting her eyes from the flying earth and wood, but she could feel something was going on there, and her aunt and her Tree were both involved somehow!

"Meali!"

She heard the shriek and looked over to Jahran, easily seen as he was still standing up against her. He was glowing as well! Looking back down at the ground before them she saw Geaven, and was sure she saw a faint glow there as well. Looking down at her own chest, holding her breath, she saw her skin looking lighter than normal, or was that a glow as well? Suddenly an exceptionally loud explosion could be heard and she felt herself and Jahran flung upwards towards her Tree. The last thing she saw was Geaven also being thrown towards the large Tree she had claimed as a bondmate. Then everything went black.

There was something familiar about this ... Explosions. Screams. Pain, though not inflicted upon oneself but felt through the sympathy at the sight of others being hurt. Agony. Blood and bits of things that couldn't easily be described. Scarlet wasn't sure if she was seeing all of this in her mind or if she'd gained a missing sight temporarily, for the V-ACT 34 was blind.

There were memories - faint but pressing - that raged through her head as a clod of dirt rose beneath her feet violently. Juggernaut was tossed aside yet didn't appear to take it into account. Deja vu. Gunfire. Mortars. Things that had surprosed them. Somebody came out with an RPG. Caught int he crossfire, last vestiges of vision fading into white, and then gray.

Then her skull smashed a tree and a curtain of obsidian came down on her play.

I ...

Where is everyone?

Rod, duck!

No!

Get ... g-get ...

Unconscious on the ground, lost in recalled memories that seemed to seep from the cracks of her fractured skull, Scarlet was an array of twitching limbs. Her lipless jaws opened and closed unconsciously. Chest rising violently with erratic breathing, the Crimson Head mutation's eyes seemed shut by cement: no force in the world could open them.

No way to move. No way to thing - logically, at least. No way to understand what was going on.

No way to see the boulders, propelled by a nearby explosion, hurtling her way.

The Hellhound slowed down as he approached the edge of the choas and destruction. Still within the safety of the shadow realm, he had the ghostly ability to be kept unseen and walk through solid objects is if they didn't exist. Making the journey here a little quicker by passing through the trees and large boulders of dirt and rubble.

Grimyth had bounded over towards the sound of chaos from the deepest, darkest part of the swampy woodland. His Curosity once more intrigued on the delight of destruction and the possibility for a free meal to those less fortunate victims. In his mouth was the pale, bony body of his new found acquaintance, Ceriaos.

Grims eyes within this realm could see the heat of those few living creatures in the distance, Still carrying The living corps in his jaws he lowed his body and began to stalk the moments in front of him. First he though they were a herd of horses, yet as creped closer, he relied his thoughts were wrong.

'Well well, this is a little more than i expected!...Hay Bonbages?!...I'm Gonna put you down here, you'll be visible but i'll put you in cover, ok?' The hound's mind echoed within the realm like telapathy. He took a few steps back, then placed Cariaos down behind a fallen tree. As soon as the connection was broken, the living corps became viable and solid once more.

"Hope you enjoyed the ride into my world, whistle if ya need me" Grim whispered to Cariaos with a small chuckle. Letting his eyes and Cheshire smile become visible for a few seconds, winking to letting him know where he stood before vanishing off to investigate the damage.

(OOC
Finally made it! ;) Hope you don't mind a Doomdog and living corps joining the chaos?

Ceriaos slowly stood up and tried to dry the saliva off but gave up. He looked around at the chaos ”wow this is... amazing I have never seen this kind of destruction before” the shadow said looking around ”do you think we can find any living things here?” it asked but Ceriaos mumbled something about a stinking hound. Ceriaos walked slowly forward while the shadow yelled ”hallo anyone out there?”
he walked a while when suddenly the shadow asked ”can you whistle now when you can't use your lungs?” “no I don't think so” Ceriaos answered, tried and failed. “no I can't” ”then we are screwed” the shadow said confirming.
“what do you think can have created this?” Ceriaos said. ”i dont know. I have not seen destruction like this for ages.”

Just wanted to give a heads up that everybody in this thread (the unicorns and Scarlet) are currently unconscious so can't respond. Therefore don't wait for a response from me or Windra, lol. But by all means, keep RPing in here, because just because they are unconscious at the moment, doesn't mean there aren't still a few surprises waiting ;)

Description of this place: Destroyed, minus the big tree they were huddled under.

Time Lost in the...
It passed slowly for one individual. This individual, after all that had occurred with the earthquake and explosion, had decided to step up the pace to reach her destination. While not exactly easy, and somewhat tiring, she had used her magic to use the very shadows in the forest to speed up her approach. To her, every second she spent hoping from shadow to shadow in a frenzied pace was one minute. She could hear her heart’s beating. Each beat's sound almost painful for her to listen to.
...Land of Confusion.
As she emerged from the shadow of a fallen tree, her eyes, black pupils surrounded by an ever shifting swirling vortex of colors, took in the carnage before her. Trees, rocks, soil…everything…in the area, had been broken and shattered. Except for one big tree that managed to stay standing. Somehow, it had fared better. But even it had seen better days. What had happened here? What had enough force to do such a thing? And if it was a creature that did this, why?
What is Fear?
Her eyes, as they swept over the area taking in everything finally stopped on the winged unicorns and one red humanoid. The explosion was powerful enough to take down the entire group. As this realization came through her mind, she started to feel something…it started in her stomach…something…cold…taking root… She had come here to find the lavender winged unicorn known as Gaeva, instead, here she found the winged unicorns down and out. The one to turn to, had already been taken out…this realization started to sink in…the feeling in her stomach grew… There she was, a small slender female humanoid, wearing black pants and a heavy purple top with heavy black boots with black hair almost touching the ground, for the first time in her life, she was shaking from a feeling that she rarely felt. She trembled, not in excitement, not in happiness…no…this feeling…was new to her…at least…she never felt it at this intensity

She collapsed to her knees, the colors of her eyes swirling faster, growing darker, duller, and less lively. Her hair was soaked with the sweat she had accumulated traveling to this spot, having spent lots of energy using her magic. Thus her hair appeared matted and it stuck to her head and clothing. Her face, normally smiling and full of life, had contorted to a mask of fear…a fear she had not felt once in her live… What was happening and why. With her powers as they were…she felt helpless…if she was at full power…this would have been easy to solve…but…not as she was now…not when she was powerless…
Remember…
Suddenly, her eyes dimmed, becoming almost completely black… As she remembered a discussion she had a long time ago with her grandmother, Slyphianess, the Goddess of Hope and Moons. At the time, she was still very young, to equivalent to a human child that just started their first year in school. She had asked Slyphianess about fear, and hope. For, she had not understood exactly what each was. So Slyphianess decided to explain as best she could to the young Worldeater, what they were.

“Listen Lyrial, fear and hope. They are connected, for they are the exact opposites of each other. Fear, despair, they are the darkness that clouds the minds of others. This causes people to act differently than they normally do, and sometimes fear and despair makes people become reckless. This is because they have given up. The darkness that fear and despair brings blocks the light that would guide them. Fear and despair while many would consider these emotions as useless, and bad to have, are actually healthy feelings. To feel them means that you are alive. The actually help you to instinctively react to danger. All emotions are natural to have.”

Slyphianess had at that point picked up the young world eater, at the time a small draconic humanoid with silver scales with black feathered wings. The young girl’s attention fully on her grandmother. Her grandmother’s golden hair shone brightly during the night, the three moons reflecting light so bright in gave Slyphianess’s hair an almost ethereal appearance at the time, not that Lyrial really thought much about it.

“So basically fear just makes one dumb in some situations, while fear in other situations could help them survive?” The young girl asked. Slyphianess, though her grandmother was draconic, she herself had a human form, her face radiant and beautiful under the moonlight, smiled at the young girl’s question.

“That’s a simple way to look at it.” The Goddess said smiling at her grandchild, her blue eyes sparkling brightly in the moonlight of the three moons.

“Than what is hope? If fear is darkness, does that make hope the light?” The young Worldeater asked her face contorted into a mask of attempted understanding.

Slyphianess at that time had reached a bench in the park they were walking in. “That’s right E’lor’el.” Slyphianess answered using one of Lyrial’s nicknames. Lyrial smiled at the name, it was her favorite nickname, and she allowed only her grandmother to call her by it. In the ancient tongue of the gods, it simply meant “Joyful Moonlight.” Worldeater names were long, composed of their given names and their official nicknames that the world eater has accepted. Indeed, the moonlight seamed to dance playfully off of Lyrial’s silver scales.

“The light brings comfort to people. Thus it light is hope. No matter what, as long as someone has hope, they can overcome any situation. Even when all seems lost, there is still hope. No matter how deep the darkness, there is always light. In fact, the deeper the darkness, the brighter the light. One day, you shall be my avatar and the Grand Priestess for my followers. You do not have to understand what I’m talking about yet, in time, you will.” Slyphianess explained in as simple a fashion as she hoped she could for a child.

Lyrials face was scrunched up in concentration on what her grandmother had said. Than suddenly she smiled. “I don’t understand! Lyrial said giggling. Slyphianess giggled with her grandchild smiling, before kissing the young child on the forehead.

“One day, I’m sure, you’ll understand. For you are my light and hope for the future E’lor’el.” Slyphianess said hugging the young world eater closely and tightly, who eagerly returned the hug.
…that you are hope.
Suddenly, Lyrial understood…that there was nothing that she needed to fear. She had let fear control her, and let it cause her to panic. With this realization, she took a deep breath in, and than slowly exhaled. Then she got back to her feet. Than she took a step towards the fallen unicorns. Than she took another, and another. Her face, while still grim, contained no fear, just eyes that swirled with bright colors, colors of hope. Lyrial Eailiolery has arrived!

Grimyth Was watching, stalking slowly around the newcomer that had ran into the centre with the look of pure horror on there face. He Was Surprised to see so much life within this place after such destruction, true most were unconscious, but he could still hear there beating hearts echo within the shadow realm.

He took careful, slow steps trying not to make a sound, it was easy enough to walk through the amount of destruction, but it was alto harder to silence such large paws upon the ground, or restrain himself from scorching the very ground.

'It seams alto of the old scrolls were true after all, never in my days did i think to see these mythical creatures let alone this many of them' he thought to himself, sniffing the sweet intense smell of the unicorns, mouth dripping even more with thick blood tainted saliva in thought. knowing how fun it would be to taste the flesh of something with such power made his mind dreamy from the thought. He remembered the intense sweetness from the many mages back at the guild he broke free from.

He went to approached the nearest unconscious unicorn, keeping a watchful eye on the worldeater more concerned about her rather than those unconscious. Sniffing around, to find out more of the strange blue unicorn that lay there. What chaos had caused this came to the doom dogs mind, even more curious to know if he could join in the fun and gain the spoils. Or in his mind, cleaning up the mess.
He foolishly let out a a deep growl-like chuckle just thinking about it before realising he'd made a physical sound into the earth relm. He froze eyes darting around to see who heard him.

Slow and careful Ceriaos moved over a fallen tree. Looking over the destroyed land without really focusing. He was about to turn away but the shadow said “ look over there. What is that.” “i don't know it looks like some sort of horse and there is more then one.” he moved slowly closer careful not to trip over anything. He spotted a figure walking toward the horses. The shadow whispered upset to Ceriaos “hide now.” He had never heard it talk to him like that and jumped behind a stone. “i hope it didn't see us” it whispered “why that?” “i don't know exactly but there is something about it that made me tremble. Just keep your head down.” Ceriaos peaked his head out and looked close on the figure. It turns out to be a female human but he couldn't see anything else clearly.

((ooc: Till Geava returns and posts, we will continue with just the three of us. Windra has told me she is most likely going to pull her Character out of the thread. Also, don't think I'll need permission to heal anyone. ;) ))

IC:
Lyrial's mind was spinning with what to do here. First she needed to make sure that everyone was at least alive. And than she would have to heal them. And then there was that growl-like chuckle. Wait? Growl-like chuckle? Lyrial's eyes scanned the area in front of her as she came to a stop, towards the downed unicorns, for that seemed to be the direction it was coming from. "I spy with my little eyes...nothing. Lets fix that shall we?" She said out load to no one in particular.

Suddenly she spoke a few words; words in a language not known to anyone there, a language more ancient than even the planet itself, so ancient that her voice sounded as if it was speaking in many different dialects at once. Her hands make a few quick gestures. And suddenly her eyes lit up brightly in a birght purple glow before settling back into its normal colors.

And than her gaze fell upon the Hellhound. She looked at it for a few seconds before speaking. "I don't know what you are chuckling about dog, but these unicorns are not your prey, back off." She said, her voice calm and emotionless. She than continued towards the fallen unicorns.

Once she was near the group, or as near to all the unicorns as she could get with them lying around. She looked at them all, it looked like they were all alive still, just out cold at the moment. Though she did not know how badly hurt any of them were, if at all injured or not. But she had to give it her best.

She took in a deep breath and closed her eyes, feeling about her thoughts for the right spell. She found one, a spring of life basically. An area spell that would heal those in the area, which given the layout of where the fallen unicorns where lying. She just hoped that all were in the area.

Once again she took deep breath and opened her eyes. She then started to once again speak in that ancient language. Her arms thrust wide to her sides, he fingers and hands dancing and moving quickly. A white magical circle spread out from beneath her over a large area covering the fallen unicorns. As she chanted her spell her hair starter to raise and spread out behind her.

As the magical circle settled and stopped growing it changed from its white glow to a gentle green glow. Soft pale blue orbs of light started to fall in the area from just barely twenty feet above the magical circle. Meanwhile what appeared to be green rain, in reality life energy itself used for healing, started to raise rapidly from the magical circle infusing all within the circle with healing energy. Lyrial smiled, for it would only be a short time now before the unicorns recovered, at least, that was what she hoped.

Grimyth's eyes Widened Dramatically, ears flattened against his body at first, never before had his Detection been uncloaked so easily like that. He felt streamline vulnerable and so did only what most animals do in defence.
He Curled up his jet black lips to display his large row of needle-like teeth, His heckles along his spine stood on end, and his Flame roared into a violent red and yellow. A Long winding growl emitted from his ghostly vocal cords like a Loud, heavy based sound system, vibrating the very ribs of any living creature within a miles radius.

He Jumped back, away from the unicorn and held balanced himself upon his hind legs slightly, He could feel the power coming from this small girl. Watching her cast this ancient magic was bitter in his black heart.

"I'v Devoured a hole gild of Mages twice the Size of you!...What gives you the right to deny a hound his supper!" He Growled, spitting out the words irritably, his only knowledge of magic dwellers was from back at his prison-like fort of the mage that made him this way. He made sure back then the rest of the city of men knew of his vengeance upon his creators, yet this place was so far from the ordinary world of man that he wasn't even sure if word would reach such ears. He Use to enjoy Seeing the fear in folk if they ever saw him, as well as the many exaggerated stories they made of him.
The End of his fire tail whipping about angrily yet still Moving away from this creature he fears, dragging his back feet unwilling to back down so easily.

(OOC: I am sorry the delay. I had problems with my connection and my computer. But it seems all been fixed now. Plus I only had a little time in the last month.)

IC: Ceriaos watched the spell with a mix of fascination and fear. He looked around for a better place to hide. “Why do I need to hide?” he whispered “except that she worries you.” “I don’t know there is something strange about her.” “I am going to find out more now.” Ceriaos slow moved out from behind the rock and began to move closer.
Unfortunately was Ceriaos to focused on the figure and he tripped over a torn up root. Ceriaos got up slowly and looked for wounds. To his regret he found a stone in his arm and to make worse it looked like his foot was out of joint. With little caution he pulled out the stone and threw it away with an annoyed mumble. He looked down at his foot and sighed. With a little trouble he found a fallen tree and sat down.

He had been quiet for a while but that fall made quit the noise, he thought. With a fast movement he reached down and with a snap he got his foot back in place. He returned his attention to figure and found out she was talking to Grimyth or at least it was Grimyths voice he heard answering. He took a few steps backwards because he heard how irritable he was. “ I guess its best i stay out of this” he said to myself and just in case he drew his dagger from his shoulder.

Juno showed up.

Really that's what happened.

Juno just showed up.

No que. No hint. He just appeared.

Sure while one could argue that his physical being was a culmination of events leading to his conception as a babe and further events to have him age and still even further events to take place for him to arrive in the area. It still stands that simply

Juno showed up.

And while this notion of time and place are still being discussed as to where and when and why. The fact still remains thus:

Juno showed up.

And just as puzzled as to why he happened to be at this location at this particular moment.

Conversation had been exchanged previously but he didn't hear it. Let alone have any clue as to what happened previously save for simple assumption. So here, in the forest he looked around at the scene in front of him. Sleeping beings and talking creatures, some looking more fearsome than others, and frankly he didn't want to talk to right away for fear of losing his metaphorical milk money.

Thus by not being in conversation he rationalized with himself, and thought about it. Instead of using instinct he calmed down and decided to use logic.

The following was the thought process:
Sleeping beings are here, as are awake ones. But the ones awake are busy in conversation and they probably don't notice me...

The sleeping ones appear to be pretty darn out of it if they aren't waking at the conversation...

and I AM a pirate...

Right only one thing to do

And thus began the clever plan of any pirate. Sneak around those having the conversation and loot the sleepers for personal gain.

There wasn't anything wrong with this at ALL. Well save for the gigantic crater that he fell into for lack of further observation.

"Curse you gravity!" Was his cry as he tumbled down the edge to the center of where the impact occured.

Meanwhile, two more creatures were coming to join the party. Rekka, having decided to quit screwing around, had quickly zeroed in on the source of the present tumult. Zom followed behind him with a rather weary look on her face, quite displeased that she was out and about at this time of day. The vampiress kept to what shadows she could, avoiding areas of sunlight on the ground like they were pools of boiling lava.

Rekka, on the other hand, couldn't hold back an amused snort at the sight that awaited him here. A group of unicorns, including the famous guardian of the Forest, lay sprawled out on the ground. A small girl traded threats with the voice of some unseen monster. And a pink-haired pirate was attempting to sneak around the whole scene... for some reason.

Also, it looked like there was a bit of a crater there, though that appeared to be less of an issue at the moment, for the most part.

An instant later, Rekka was suddenly standing over Gaeven, appraising the unicorn up close.

"It is an interesting color for an equine's fur," he admitted, contemplating the pirate's intentions. "A fly whisk made from that tail might fetch a fair price, as such things go. Or perhaps the horn was more to his interest? Though I suppose there's no reason both couldn't be harvested."

"Maybe he was just after the meat," Zom suggested, rushing to get as close as she could. "It's hard to find a meal that doesn't talk in these parts, you know."

"I do believe this one has been known to talk," Rekka pointed out.

"Eh, all the same," Zom shrugged. "Can't be too picky, right? 'Waste not want not,' and all that."

"Most likely you ate a week group of mortal mages! Do not group me with such creatures. For I am neither weak nor mortal! You will not harm...what?!" Lyrial exclaimed with surprise at Rekka's arrival. Even more alarming to her, was the discussion he was having with some lady that seemed to be avoiding the sun. Lyrial's mind raced, she needed to protect the unicorns. And thanks to the arrival of the two new people, she did not notice the pink haired pirate tripping into a crater. And her heart was beating to loudly for her to have even heard his curse against gravity.

"You two! Who are you! Are you friend or foe! Have you come to aid these unicorns or otherwise!" She said with as much bravery as she could muster. Though in truth, she expected the later. Otherwise their discussion would not have been the way it was. But, she was alone, and it seemed like she would have to be the one to defend the unicorns. She at least knew that she was in no real threat of death, but, pain still sucked! So she decided to cast another spell as a preemptive warning to both the hound and the new comers. Why harmless, it would at least help protect the unicorns and even her from harm.

So, with that decided, and before the newcomers could answer her previous questions, she once again started to speak the language of her magic. Her voice once again sounding as if she was speaking in many different languages and dialects at the same time. But, this spell...it would take more energy than normal. And with her hands moving at a speed that would be almost impossible to keep up with, she cast the spell. Her hair once again started to glow, a bright soft light reminiscent of the glow of the moon shone from her hair as she pointed to the sky. And suddenly a soft light of the same color shone down from the sky illuminating the area. Her hair, though it kept its illuminated look, though, under the light, if one looked closely, the tips of her hair, had turned white.

The spell, though it took a lot of energy, was simple, it protected the ones that the caster wanted to protect from harm. And the targets of the spell was obvious, as the light was also illuminating the hair of the unicorns, but no one else had their hair illuminated. "I am Lyrial Eailiolery, granddaughter of Slyphianess, Goddess of Hope and Moons! These unicorns are under my protection!" Lyrial exclaimed loudly, so that all present could hear her.
There are so very many dramatic ways that vast, incomprehensible galactic phenomena can kill you, that every single day that you go unmurdered by space is a miracle.

The Hellhound at fist scoffed at the reply before darting his eyes towards the new lifeforms, Chuckling at the amusement of Juno's mishap with gravity, noticing the familiarity of the pink haired humanoid befor turning his attention back to Lyrial.
'what a load of nonsense, she's but a child" he thought to himself, sniffing the air and taking in the sweet sent coming from the fallen. With a sly look, he watched the small sorcerer interrogate a pair of new comes, seeing her detracted his hunger got the better of him. Crouching down he sneaked forward a few inches towards the smallest of the unicorn, his jowls dripping red drool from the anticipation of the magic soul. The Lords of hell would truly be thankfully for such a find, granting him more strength and ability to take on bigger more deadly power.

about to latch his jaws around one of the unicorns legs when the sudden glow caused him to stop at the last moment, his eyes widened though disbelief on missing out on a free meal. The sight of magic made his very guts twist from bad memories, The one low growl became are Loud Snarl of Fury.
In a mater of seconds the Huge Demonic Dog dismissed his inadvisability, Teeth bared, lips curled and Hells fire a blaze, Hot Tar-like mater oozed from his pawpads, Scotching all that he stood on. Red hot eyes stared at the young World-eater with Anger and fear.

"DAM YOU INFERNAL CREATURE OF TORMENT! THE PITS OF HELL WILL CERTAINLY LOVE TO GET THERE HANDS ON YOU IMMORTAL! YOU LOT ARE ALL THE SAME TO ME, CRUEL BEAST WHO THINK THEY CAN ABUSE OTHERS FROM THERE NEEDS!" He roared back in spite.
Yet with all his bark he dare not bite back, He backed off slightly Unsure what to do with himself, too angry to back down yet to fearful to take it further, he knew this was not a battle he could win without pain. The Sun was enough to cope without need for further torture.
