Add Description to Character List

If you wish to ad a short description to your character's name in the character list in the Inhabitants forum, then you can make a post in here with the desirec text. Keep it short and I'll add it ^_^

These descriptions are not meant to be changed at regular intervals, so pick something that'll fit for a long time.

It is suggested that relations to other inhabitants are mentioned as well, and to update those when needed.

Siltharyn:

Young and curious, Siltharyn is a snow-white, gray tipped furred werewolf. A Healer primarily, Siltharyn is able to use certain magics, fight with a blade relatively well (well enough to defend herself and then get the heck out of there), and use 'Energies' in order to heal her patients. Siltharyn has as many enemies as she does Allies. To mention a few on either side: Makento (and company), Ryvius, and the Red knight. Her closest friends include Barbannis, Ashowan, and Onin. Siltharyn lives within the Silvertree Grove if you should ever need a friend or seek Healing. Siltharyn also carries with her the Sword of Daaje, and the Cloud Stone from Onin.

Rishcath:

A darkened shadow being defeated now by Siltharyn, known to all for the moment to be dead. He has come back to help Ryvius with the upcoming war. Rishcath is a shadow being able to move throughout any kind of darkness, weakened by light and other such weaknesses, Rishcath is not as powerful as he once was. Deadly with swords, daggers, and knives, Rishcath knows no magic, but is a dangerous enemy when enraged. Emotions are a problem for him and often you may find him laughing uncontrollably, or shrieking in pain.

Samuel:

A small field mouse anthro, Sam is very powerful... for his size. In comparison to any larger animal, he's merely 'talented' instead of 'powerful'. Sam is a polite young gentleman with an extended life and a sword that enjoys going invisible on him. Able to run at amazing speeds, for a mouse, Sam is often times seen with Art Dragonpaw, friend and companion, trying to keep Art from blowing himself and Sam up most of the time. Able to preform Illusionary magics, and fight with a blade, Sam is a kind hearted soul, always looking to talk his way out of a fight rather then battle it out.

Ebb:
The Greater Grey dragon known as 'Ebb' is one of the largest creatures currently inhabiting the forest. The dragon makes his lair on the barren hilltop known as the 'Grey fortress', east of the River's bend. He has lately acquired his own Balraa army, now encamped around the fortress. The ancient dragon lacks emotions and follows his own rigid view of the world. Ebb was once forced to vow that he would not eat 'that which speaks or has a soul'. Promises are the only thing that the dragon respects, and therefore most people are safe around him. He may still kill, but luckily the dragon's cold calculating mind rarely sees any sense in killing that which he cannot eat. Ebb is neither good nor evil. He is interested in the antics of the 'younger races' and if you do not threaten him, you can often approach him safely and start a conversation. Ebb is very old and knows many things. Many a creature has sought him out to find knowledge or to trade things from his hoard. Remember however, that the favours of the Grey are never free ...

Blackback the Entrepeneur:
Blackback is your friendly local merchant troll. The red-furred troll has a shop named "Blackback's Emporium' in the Forest village. There you can find everything an inhabitant in a magical forest could ever need. Since Deep forest has no monetary system, most creatures trade for the things they want. Blackback has a jovial demeanor and is willing to trade with anyone, good or evil alike. You can find Blackback's advertisements in the most unlikely of places around the forest, and the troll is constantly looking for new business deals and arrangements. Come to Blackback's! You won't regret it.

The Jester:
The Jester -- or 'Jess', 'Jay', 'Purple', 'Nariko', 'Tam Breen' or any of the dozens of names that different people have given her around the forest -- is a short woman, probably in her early thirties. She almost always dresses in a form-fitting red-and-purple jester's dress. The outfit is accompanied by a silly jester's cap that almost seems bigger than she is. She looks human except that her arms split in two at her elbows, leaving her with four hands. She is extremely nimble and agile, and never seems to stand still. The Jester's face is full of contrasts, with ash-white skin, green eyes and brightly painted lips. The Jester always seems happy and her maturity seems to shift from a clever entertainer to a giddy child in seconds. She talks and moves and dances in a whirlwind of activity. To an observer it seems like nothing in the world can affect her. Which is ironic, considering how frail this little woman really is inside.

I have one more request: I was wondering if you could somehow move your own first posts in Ebb's and Blackback's joining threads? Your posts appears before the actual character sheet in both cases. It's a remnant of the move from Ezboards which looks very weird. Thanks!

Often, however, he stalks the land not as a tiger but in a myriad of other forms, his shapeshifting abilities limited only by his mind and his memory. Smoke was and is the original baddie. He almost always chooses to keep his distance from any fullscale battles, having no desire to fight alongside any soul good or bad. The Mountains are his territory, however, and woe betide any creature fool enough to challenge him.

Naira

Naira is a naturally semi-elusive woman. Originally entering the Deep Forest under the guise of 'Ashowan Salem Brecken', a Grim Reaper from old Earth, she is actually the Earth Soul Reaver - a different species entirely. Naira is a normal human in many aspects, typically dressed in garb fit for a fighter. However, her feet are composed of dragon hide and alabaster talons and a tail extends from her backside. She dances on a thin line between good and evil. Her methods of dispatching and enforcing can be considered cruel by many, but if you ever need protection there is no better person you could turn to. Nemo professes in wind magic and possesses other unique abilities related to her race. During her stay she has cultivated friendships with Siltharyn, Juno, Entropy, and numerous others. She is commonly spotted randomly flitting about the forest - typically around noon or midnight - and is most often found by the riverside. Be warned: there is more to her than meets the eye.

Scarlet

There is a fine line between being sane and being completely mad. Scarlet is a fine example of such a border. Though her human origins are unclear and have yet to be unveiled, her life as a V-ACT began in an Umbrella Inc., laboratory. Her skin is pure crimson due to terrible blood seepage. In respect to her mutation into the Licker Zombie stage, her tongue is almost infinitesimal in length and is capable of choking the life out of anything. She bears claws that could rip you limb from limb. Armed with poor eyesight but keen senses of smell and hearing, Scarlet is a natural Berserker who can flip-flop from passive to aggressive on a whim (or when vexed by the scent of blood). Despite her genetic mutations, Scarlet is a worthy ally and does not turn on her comrades unless the Virus in her blood forces her to do so. She and Naira share an almost sisterly relationship. Those who can see past her insanity to the potentially intelligent being beneath can easily become her friends. Scarlet is mostly found at the Swamps, though she has recently become a citizen of the Forest Village. Oh, by the wya ... she has guns.

Masquerade

One of the pups from the deceased Umber's first, and last, litter, Masquerade has pitch black fur. Her face is coated by a 'mask' of white fur, striped down the center of her snout with umber coloration. Bright sapphire eyes could rival the deepest and cleanest waters in the forest. Masquerade is an average-sized wolf pup who dislikes close company and tends to keep to herself. She has displayed great intelligence despite her young age. However, she cannot compete with the internal curiousity passed onto her from her parents. Combining this trait with her restless personality could end disastrously. It is so far unclear as to what powers she has, if any. Masquerade cannot be bothered by trivial, meaningless tasks unless they involve brain work and relaxation. Anything else is troublesome.

Bast

Bast is a white-furred black-spotted cheetah with magnificent wings sprouting from her back. Compared to others of her species, she has a small build. However she is lithe and agile to make up for her lack in size. Thus she is capable of quick 'on-the-dime' movements that would trip up virtually any enemy. Bast is a telepath, meaning she can only communicate with others via mindspeak. Her motherly nature and need to protect others enhances her semi-magical ability. Bast's blood holds healing properties. When extracted, it can be used to create potions that would help seal drastic wounds in a matter of hours. During her absence from the Deep Forest, Bast trained herself in medical magic. She can transfer energy from herself to another and possibly save a being from the brink of death with the repercussion of being severely weakened. Bast can concentrate magic into her feathers and pass them out as on-the-go healing items. Once a mate to the legendary Smoky Paradox, Lord of the Mountains, Bast has returned to the Deep Forest with her brother, Kandari. The feline recently joined the Adeli Makani Pride.

::Anani Sunwalker::

Anani is a young Shimmer, a dwindling race of shapeshifters. However, after an encounter with the mysterious Leonardo, she was gifted with the Shadowma, the very definition of sentient shadows. Although she has not seen Leonardo since their first meeting, Ani has developed her powers, and the result became her best friend, Shadow, who is essentially Anani's much more serious, responsible and sensible clone. Anani can transform into any living thing, but her preferred form is a small kitten, which is how most identify her as. She is very kind, always cheerful, and always looking for more friends. Anani can usually be found around the Hunting Grounds, where she lives with her pride, Adele Makani.

::Rynn of the Silver Spirit::

Rynn is over a thousand years old, and possesses the wisdom of someone of that age. She is kind, gentle, always looking to help anyone who needs it. As a fox demon, she can shift between two forms, her true form and her humanoid form, the former being a sleek silver fox, the latter being a graceful human woman with the ears, tail, claws and teeth of a silver fox. Rynn can be found wandering around the Edge of the forest, where she lives, giving directions to newcomers.

::Flycker Bannertail::

Flycker, unlike her mate, Tiffin, is by no means a shy aerosquirrel. She came from far away from Deep Forest, from a lab that held genetically alter animals. She escaped that lab, and soon afterward met Tiffin (or Tiffy, as she likes to call him), who she fell in love with immediately. The two can be seen wandering around the forest together, and it is rare for them to be apart. In contrast to her mate, Flycker is completely white, with multicolored wingfeathers and pink eyes, and wears a pair of flashy sunglasses she made herself. She is loud, obnoxious, stubborn, and spunky, but underneath her tought exterior is a sweet, loving girl. You just have to dig a little.

::Jake Ashcroft::

If you know the term 'street rat', you know how to describe Jake. Jake is a Pyro, a term used by the people in his homeland to describe users of fire. Although his name and sexuality have been poked at during his stay in the forest ('Flamingcrotch', a name that Juno the Pirate used to introduce Jake to the Nism Thoee and Deen by), Jake is a ladies man, or at least, he likes to think of himself that way. However, as much as he brags, a particularly witty girl can reduce him to a pile of goo. Jake can be found everywhere around the forest, although he enjoys hanging out with his business partner Howahkan, and following Naira (of Ashowan, as he knows her by) and Scarlet around, because he thinks they're pretty damn amusing.

Dimitri
A rogue and scoundrel from the mist-shrouded kingdom of Newumberland, Dimitri is a genetic anomaly, possessing the blood of all four of the sentient races that inhabit his homeland. Thanks to this exceptional trait of his, Dimitri has the ability to transform his species at will, into the pure form of any of the races whose bloodlines he can claim. Making full use of this ability, Dimitri spent the past eight years as a freelance thief, information broker, smuggler, dealer, pawnbroker, and various other carriers of questionable legality, before he was dropped into Deep Forest via a planar anomaly. Now stranded here, without the power to get back home, Dimitri has started to settle in, and has founded his own shop, “Newumbria Trading and Supplies”, out of the front room of his cabin, right beside the River's primary ford, with his current 'partner in crime', Sarah Bree-Carey. Dimirti is wry, scheming, and dangerously intelligent, despite being easily surprised and a coward at heart. He has some skill in truenaming magic, though often he will mispronounce a word to often comical results, andthough he is competent in a fight, he sill much prefers a battle fought with wit and word rather then one of sword and spell.

Sarah
A hybrid of the four intelligent races of the dark realm of Newumberland, Sarah is a genetic oddity, one in a million. Her unique ancestry blesses her with the ability to change her species to match any of those of her ancestry, but it has also cursed her as an outcast. Against the odds, however, she found acceptance among the Knights of Tirinac, an order of Church Knights devoted to the protection of Newumberland from the horrors that lurked within the mists, and later among a band of rebels dedicated to the restoration of Newumberland's monarchy. Sarah has lead a dangerous life, and that hasn't changed much since she was dropped into Deep Forest by a planar hiccup. Falling in with the only other Newumberlander in the entire forest, Dimitri Drago Lothar, Sarah now works at “Newumbria Trading and Supplies” as Dimitri's 'partner in crime'. Sarah is brutally honest, slightly insane, and quite bigoted against anything that she can term as 'demonic', 'fey', 'undead', or otherwise...which includes about three quarters of the forest. Still, she is a loyal ally and true friend to those whom she is close to, and will risk life and limb to save those lucky enough to call her such. Sarah is what others might call a paladin, trained in the twin arts of the sword and the divine, and this coupled with her one-track mind and fanaticism makes her a deadly foe to those powered by the dark.

Norad
Arguably the most advanced computer ever created, the Real Human Personality Artificial Intelligence Gama, better known as Norad is nothing short of an electronic soul, able to adapt, change and grow based on personal, moral and ethical values, and is not simply bound by logic and fact. Created by the Terran Dominion in the year 2332 as the 'secret weapon' in their war against the Elder Alliance, Norad has proven himself repeatedly in battle against the numerous alien races humanity has entered into conflict with over his 52 years of service. Norad is currently in his third chassis, the Monarch-class dreadnought UESCS Norad III, a great fortress of a ship over a mile long and two-thirds that wide. Of course, the Norad III isn't doing much now other than collecting sand as dust, thanks to the violent conditions of the Norad's arrival in Deep Forest. Restricted to wandering the forest as a humanoid hologram while his hull slowly repairs itself, Norad is at a fraction of his normal world-leveling power. And that is a serious wound to the blow of the ego of the arrogant, acerbic, and somewhat pretentious AI. Still, Norad is a good ally to have on your side...particularly when you need to get somewhere real fast, or on the off chance that a 150 megaton nuclear warhead would come in handy.

Simi

Simi is an sky colored unicorn with the unique gift to shapeshift into a phoenix at free will, something that is more easily done in the winter, when her strength to morph into her second-nature form is at her strongest. She is shy and timid, but with a love for adventure and a deep loyalty to those close to her heart, loyalty that could drive her to far limits to protect her friends.

Having come from the far west, Simi sought refuge in the Deep Forest when her kind was hunted to near extinction by humans. Since then she has learned to love her new home, and care for it and tend to it with the same devotion that she had given to her childhood woods, for her breed of unicorn cannot survive in this world without a forest to bond with. Currently she has made good friends with Zero Drawn the nekojin, and a girl named Lyrial, a faithful servant of her gods and godesses.

I had also made a request in "Custom Title Requests" to change Simi's custom title from Shy Unicorn to Shape-shifting Unicorn, and asked in "Request for Inhabitants Profile to be Unlocked" to unlock Simi's profile one more time just so I could add how tall she is in her unicorn and phoenix form. Sorry for all the trouble. o_o
