"Huh....? Wha, oh, oh OH WHOA WHOA WHOA THERE!" Said the black furry thing that had happened to knock Lyiral over after it realized what he was nuzzling. Lyrial might not be the most well endowed girl, being rather flat compared to other females that shared her body type. "Lyrial? Are you alright?" Simi had asked Lyrial, but her mind was else where at the moment. Despite their size, what he nuzzled against was something that one shouldn't be touching; or, especially, nuzzling against, especially as she was to young for those types of acts. When she realized what he had been nuzzling her already red face turned even more scarlet in color, running down her neck.
"EEEEKKKK! PERVERT!" She yelled bursting into tears as she felt that she had just been molosted, even if it was by accident, and partially her fault. She was to proud to admit such things. She quickly formed a snowball in her hand and tossed it at Ro after he came to his own stop. Then she blinked and hugged her book to her chest. Her eyes swirling with the colors of embaresment and humilation as she cried softly. If there was one thing hurt, it had been her pride.
"I *sniff*...I *sob*...am alright *sob*... Simi *sniff*." Lyrial said, though it was obvious that she was not alright. Lyrial had been humilated, and she was partly to blame. Her pride couldn't take it. But even so, she reopened the book to where she was at before becoming a living bowling pin. Choking back the tears and sobs as best she could she looked first to Ro, and than to Puffles. "I found the spell that would allow me to put the ship into *sniff* a self restore state, allowing it to repair itself without help or outside resources, over time. Than I can store it into the dimensional *sniff* pocket I was talking about." She aksed Puffles before looking back to the black cat. "Pervert."

There are so very many dramatic ways that vast, incomprehensible galactic phenomena can kill you, that every single day that you go unmurdered by space is a miracle.
Sugar and Spice do not mix well at times! So says many of my characters after the chocolate fiasco.

"EEEEKKKK! PERVERT!" cried Lyrial. Ro braced his arms against the ground and pushed his front half up some, looking incredulously towards the tear streaked visage of the worldeater. "Wha...WHAT!? Hey, wait! I ain't no fircken per--VOOOMF!" His declaration of innocence was terminated prematurely by the cold clustered projectile that had just been thrown at him which smacked him in the face and caused his head to whiplash backwards for a moment, before he came back forward and flopped facedown into the snow again. There was a moment of silence before a frustrated groan, accompanied by a few twitchy tantrum-like movements of the body, came from him.
Simi was next to Lyrial, gently nuzzling the top of her head. "Lyrial? Are you alright?", she asked, to which the Worldeater responded "I *sniff*...I *sob*...am alright *sob*... Simi *sniff*.". Her words failed to veil her obvious state of distress, and Puffles let out another sigh. Though nobody had been harmed, Puffles still would have wished for a less 'adventurous' introduction of his little masters. Ze had yet to move from his spot, quiet little sobs accompanied by repeat, whispered apologies. The little Nekojin didn't know what else to do, fearing that if he tried to do anything he'd be reprimanded for it. Though the complete Zero may have handled this situation in a more mature, steadfast way, Ze and Ro were split parts of his soul, more prone to emotional extremes and each particular to certain characteristics without opposing emotions and traits to counterbalance them.
Lyrial seemed to recompose herself, at least somewhat, as she grabbed up her mysterious tome and opened it, presumably returning to the page she had found prior. She drew her gaze across Ro for a moment, before she looked at the Cyborg and spoke. "I found the spell that would allow me to put the ship into *sniff* a self restore state, allowing it to repair itself without help or outside resources, over time. Than I can store it into the dimensional *sniff* pocket I was talking about." At the last bit, Ro's ear perked as he uttered some muffled, unintelligible phrase and twitched in the snow. "Mmmmshnl pahkah?" He didn't attempt to get back up though, as he feared another assault via snowball. "Pervert." This last bit only strengthened Ro's resolve to just stay low - having been so winded from the sudden events, he just didn't have th energy to protest his innocence at the moment.
The Cyborg registered what Lyrial had to say. "If you are capable of of performing these actions, then by all means. However, I do not wish to pressure you Miss Lyrial, as I understand this to have been somewhat of a sudden, abrupt situation. Should you need some time to recuperate, by all means." He seemed to have something else on his mind at the very moment. He nodded at both Lyrial and Simi before he looked towards Ze. "You must excuse me for a moment, Miss Lyrial and Miss Simi." He turned and walked to the little white nekojin, who gazed up at the Cyborg with a tear streaked face and big, sad blue kitten eyes. Puffles knelt beside the distraught Neko and the Cyborg's tail uncurled from his waist, wrapping around Ze instead as he drew the felinoid against him in a warm embrace.
"Do not cry, little Ze...everything is all right."
The nekojin wrapped his arms tight around Puffles' neck and squeezed hard as he sniffled a bit.
"I...I just wanted ta find you...I diddun...I diddun mean to...."
Puffles returned a squeeze of his own, and shushed the small creature.
"There is no need to worry. You have found me just as intended, and even more than just myself. I believe that once this admittedly unusual moment passes, you will be quickly forgiven and will have a door to new friendships opened, with a humorous story to tell."
Ze looked up at the Cyborg, who was looking back down at him.
"Yeah, I guess...but....but..."
Puffles shook his head softly.
"It is unnecessary to argue the point any further. Take time to calm yourself and gather your thoughts. Then you may offer your apology and goodwill." With a small sob and a light shiver, Ze nodded his head and took a deep breath.
"Now come alongside me, as we must check upon Little Ro."
Puffles squeezed Ze for the last time and Ze mirrored the same, before the Cyborg released the nekojin from his hug and the grasp of his tail, standing up fully as he motioned for Ze to follow. The felinoid followed close behind the Cyborg as he returned to Lyrial, Simi, and Ro. He smiled briefly at the unicorn and worldeater before he maneuvered over to his fallen Master and knelt beside him. The sound of the Cyborg's breathing stirred Ro, and he braced his arms once again, pushing himself up and sliding his legs under him into a kneeling position. He wiped excess snow from his face and stared at the Cyborg, frowning in humiliated frustration.
"I ain't no dogone pervert..."
Puffled reached forward and rested his palm against Ro's whiskered cheek, gently scritching his furr. Though the Nekojin seemed to merf unhappily and retained his frown, it was obvious he was pushing towards the palm and enjoyed the scritching.
"It wasn't even mah fault, man. Ol' fathead wasn't lookin where he was goin."
Ze's eyes widened and he clenched his fists, bristling.
"Hey! I'm not a fathead!"
"Yeah you are, you fat fathead. You shoulda been lookin where you were goin, 'n this stupid crap wou----"
Puffles moved his hand and silenced the nekojin with two fingers against his lips. The Cyborg shook his head and spoke quietly.
"It is uncessary to verbally assault Ze. He has realized his mistake and is apologetic for it. And you have suffered no terrible injury, beyond perhaps your pride.
"But now I got people callin me things I ain't and folks'll start thinking I'm some kinda weird sicko!"
Puffled sighed softly, and moved his hand up to scritch behind Ro's ear, to which the Nekojin was unable to conceal a slight purr.
"Perhaps with some time Miss Lyrial will be able to see you in a more positive light."
Puffles took a glance back towards the flushed, distressed worldeater, a gaze that seemed to convey that he was not simply assuming that she would, but hoping so.
"Bleh." Ro crossed his arms and just stared at the ground, cheeks flushed with pink. In the meantime, Ze had moved towards Simi, and was gazing up at the Unicorn.
"Um...h-h-h...hello again Simi...I'm s-s-s-s-sorry I made such a r-r-racket but it's nice to s-s-s-see you again...."
The whitefurred nekojin smiled gently, shifting from foot to foot with noticeable nervousness.
Simi was next to Lyrial, gently nuzzling the top of her head. "Lyrial? Are you alright?", she asked, to which the Worldeater responded "I *sniff*...I *sob*...am alright *sob*... Simi *sniff*.". "I *sniff*...I *sob*...am alright *sob*... Simi *sniff*."
Lyrial's assurance was barely convincing, so Simi stayed by her side. She would see if the human needed any healing later.
Thankfully, the girl was alright enough to speak after a while. Managing to quite her sobs, she picked up the ancient book, reopening it to its previous page as she gave a brief glance at Zero, and then focusing her attention on Puffles. "I found the spell that would allow me to put the ship into *sniff* a self restore state, allowing it to repair itself without help or outside resources, over time. Than I can store it into the dimensional *sniff* pocket I was talking about." Lyrial then returned her gaze to Zero from the corner of her eye, murmuring, "Pervert..."
Simi, of course, knew not the meaning of the word, but from Zero's reaction she could tell that it was certainly not very flattering. She laid back her ears, unsure of what to say or how to help the situation.
"If you are capable of performing these actions," Puffles answered Lyrial's statement, "then by all means. However, I do not wish to pressure you Miss Lyrial, as I understand this to have been somewhat of a sudden, abrupt situation. Should you need some time to recuperate, by all means." The cyborg then looked over to the white cat who was still standing in the corner, clearly still traumatized by his doings. "You must excuse me for a moment, Miss Lyrial and Miss Simi." Puffles then turned and walked over to the cat, kneeling down and embracing him comfortingly. "Do not cry, little Ze..." Ze, in turn, hugged him back as tightly as he could. Simi could hear murmurings between them, and she couldn't help but to smile, touched by the scene.
After several more moments of comfort, Puffles released the white cat and rose to his feet, his smaller companion following his move soon after, following close behind the tall blue man towards Simi, Lyrial, and Zero. Ze turned and smiled briefly at her before turning back to Puffles, who had now knelt down beside Zero. Good, he can find out if he's ok... Simi thought with relief.
The black cat seemed to sense the cyborg's presence, and he pushed himself up into a kneeling position. He wiped away the last of Lyrial's snowball from his face and turned back to Puffles with an unhappy expression as he grumbled a few words out. Puffles responded by resting his palm on Zero's cheek and scratching it the way that a human did to a cat. Zero seemed to respond to this action, for though he still seemed upset he was pressing his face against Puffle's gentle hand. More words were said, and Simi smiled again at the relationship Zero had with Puffles, and was glad to have been here to see this moment until Ze suddenly clenched his fists, his fur starting to stand.
"Hey! I'm not a fathead!"
And now Simi was forced to let out uncontrollable laughter.
"Yeah you are, you fat fathead. You shoulda been lookin where you were goin, 'n this stupid crap wou----"

"Perhaps with some time Miss Lyrial will be able to see you in a more positive light."
"Bleh." Zero just crossed his arms and blushed faintly. Ze then started walking over shyly to Simi, stopping when he was close enough to speak and look up at with wide blue kitten eyes.
"Um...h-h-h...hello again Simi...I'm s-s-s-s-sorry I made such a r-r-racket but it's nice to s-s-s-see you again...." He then smiled and began shifting his feet in a way that was incredibly identical to Zero's.
However, Simi couldn't help but to feel confused. See me again...? But I've never seen you, before. Wanting to be as polite as she could, Simi replied gently, "It is wonderful to meet you, Ze, and it's alright. We know it was an accident. But I'm afraid I don't recognize you. I do recognize Zero"- she gestured her muzzle over at the black cat-"but this is my first time seeing you."

Lyrial took in a deep breath and than slowly let it out, as if preping for something. And fortunatly the pain from the crash and book had mostly left Lyrial, any damage that was done was quickly being fixed by her own regeneration abilities. She listened queitly to what was being said in the background. Lyrial quickly realized that she had overreacted. But at the moment. She decided to atleast get the self-regeneration spell cast. IF anything, casting the spell would calm her more. She was also relieved that Simi was there giving Lyrial some comfort, it helped calm her. She concentrated for a second, drawing energy from the very cosmos towards herself. Suddenly she lifted off the ground a few inches. Her long knee length hair suddenly spread out around her and behind her as if there was no gravity keeping it down. The power of the spell she was about to cast was significant, and generaly this type of things happened when she cast her powerful spells. She than started in a strange tounge. It seamed to consit of twenty accents and languages all at the same time. The words she spoke were rapid in speed being said, impossible for the untrained to keep up with the words. At most the words seamed very ancient, much like the book, which as now floating itself a few inches above the hand that had carried it.
Suddenly a yellow crystal about a foot wide appeared in front of Lyrail, as she faced the ship, obviously aiming at the ship. Then suddenly a vertical circle appeared around the crystal with another circle furthar out from the first circle, strange ancient runes appeared betweent he two rings, a red symbol appeared in the last spot in the circle. Then another pair of rings appeared, with a different assortment of runes appearing, with another red symbol. Then yet a third magic circle appeared further beyond the second circle. The entire dimension of the thing was one foot (crystal), three feet (1st circle), five feet (2nd circle), and finally eight feet (3rd circle) across. Then suddenly the inner circle turned clockwise till it came to a stop with a clicking noise with the red symbol directly above the crystal. After the inner circle finished its movement the middle circle made a counter-clockwise turn till it came to a stop, with a click, with its red symbol directly on the right of the crystal. And after that circle finished moving the outside circle started turning clockwise till it came to a stop with a click with its red symbol directly on the left of the crystal. Then Lyrial continued the incantation, again in that ancient tounge.
A golden light springed forth from the crystal towards the ship, and once it came into contact the light poceeded to form a grid like circle around the ship, lifting the craft into the air so it could become a complete sphere. Once the ship was in the air a golden beam sprang forth from the red symbol of the inner circle, striking the ship. For a second nothing seamed to happen, than suddenly, images appeared on the grid of the sphere encircling the craft. The images were obviously blueprints and other schematics of the ships important hardware, such as its engines, stabalizers, navigation systems, etc. But the schematics were not on the frame or body of the ship. Once the schematics appeared the red symbol of the middle circle sent out its own golden beam to the ship. It to touched the ship and seamed to do nothing. But than schematics on the ships frame and inner structure appeared in the grid shpere. After the schematics of the frame appeared a golden beam sprange forth from the red symbol of the outer circle striking the craft. Once again nothing happened, than suddenly schematics on everything else not covered by the two previous schematics appeared on the grid. Once more each red symbol sent out golden beams, this time at the same time. As the beams connected and stayed active on the ship, on the blueprints and schematics red portions appeared in the equipment, obviously damaged portions were being highlighted so that everyone knew what was damaged. There was a decent number of red. Once the golden beams finished scanning the ship Lyrial continued he incantation, a look of deep concentration on her face.
At that point each circle started spinning, the inner circle started spinning clockwise, the middle circel started spinning counter-clockwise, and the outer circle started spinning clockwise. As they did a wirling noise could be heared from the circles, and then the middle circle, inner circle, and crytal started to move away from the outer circle, at each foot interval first the middle circle, than the inner circle, and than the crytal came to a stop with a click. Than everything started to glow, and then the sphere with all the schematics started rapidly spinning till it shrunk and disappeared into the shuttle, and slowly the craft was placed on the ground. Once it set on the ground, the circles suddenly stopped with all the red symbols set in a line directly above the crystal. Then the crystal and circles vanished and Lyrial came back to rest on the ground along with the book comeing back to rest in her hand and her hair came back under the control of gravity. Lyrial let out another breath and nodded her head with satisfication.
"The ship is now in a state of self-repair and will be fully repaired soon enough." Lyrial smiled and turned to everyone. "What you said earlier about dimensional pockets kind of makes me want to know how your master went about trying to make it work. She said, and despite the fact that her eyes were already constantly shifting in colors, there seamed to be a little twinkle in them, yeah, she was deffintly calmer now.
((OOC: Lyrial's special magic energy remaining for the day: 7))

((OOC: Lyrial's special magic energy remaining for the day: 7))
There are so very many dramatic ways that vast, incomprehensible galactic phenomena can kill you, that every single day that you go unmurdered by space is a miracle.

I hope you both had a great thanksgiving, a very merry christmas, and will have a happy new year too.~
I am sorry for having taken so long - there is no valid excuse for it. But I thank you for not letting this topic fall away.

"It is wonderful to meet you, Ze, and it's alright. We know it was an accident. But I'm afraid I don't recognize you. I do recognize Zero"- Simi moved her muzzle in Ro's direction, identifying him as 'Zero'-"but this is my first time seeing you." Briefly, the whitefurred Nekojin seemed confused at this and blinked at Simi in silence for a few moments. The mechanics of Zero's split transformation was a little complicated - though the two Nekojin presently existed as their own body and mind, they were still made up of Zero's spirit and psyche. Often, they would assume Zero's actions and memories as their own - though technically they were, it was Zero who had been involved in them, not his split personas. It took Ze a few moments of silent thought before Ro simply shouted at him from his sitting position in the snow.
"See, yer head's so fat ya can't even think of the simple stuff. Simi ain't ever met us before, dingleberry! Think about it!"
Ze blinked a few times, apparently too confused by the problem he was currently faced with to comment on the renewed namecalling.
"It ain't that hard! She met ZERO, not us!"
The nekojin responded with yet more blinking before it finally occured to him what was goin on.
"Ohhhhh, thassright...you dun know, do yo---"
Before he was able to finish his sentence, however, Puffles made something of a loud grunt to quiet him. Both Ze and Ro looked towards the Cyborg, and followed his gaze to Lyrial, who's hair now seemed to be floating aloft all about her head, as if the earth had relinquished it's gravitational hold upon it.
"Watch now.", spoke Puffles loudly enough for the two Nekojin to hear. They both heeded his instruction and locked their gaze upon Lyrial. She began to speak in a strange, otherworldly dialect. Ro quirked an eyebrow and blinked, as he interpreted it as gibberish, while Ze perked his ears and tried listening closer, attempting to understand. Puffles, standing arms crossed and unmoving, merely continued to watch, thoughts of the goings on private in his own mind.
An object, which appeared to be a yellow crystal, that hadn't been there before suddenly made itself apparent, and around this crystal began the formation of what would end up being multiple arcane rings appearing around one another, growing larger in circumference as they moved outward. This somewhat reminded Ro of a Stargate from a science fiction series he was familiar with, and he scratched his chin with a bit of a grin across his face as he rose to his feet and continued to watch. Ze had gone wide eyed and somewhat slack jawed, arms stiffened out to his sides with paws open and claws extended.
"Oh! Oh! That looks magical! Look, Simi! Look!", he cried out, thrusting a pointed finger at the scene (as if it wasn't already obvious where the happening was), his expression of surprise turning to one of excitement. Puffles remained a silent observer for the time being, and the magical circles went on to operate as if they were mechanical dials of some sort, each one rotating until they came to various stops with a a click noise.
The mysterious crystal emitted a golden light that struck the ship and began to paint a grid orb which enclosed the vessel. The craft was heaved into the air not by it's own propulsion but by some otherworldly force - this only served to increase Ze's excitement, while Ro took on a slight frown and look of concern.
"Hey! What's she doin to mah sh---"
"Hush, little Ro. Now is the time for watching, not speaking."
"Yeah but---"
"Hush."
Ro grunted and hung his head a little bit, but seemed to quickly resolve to resume watching the goings-on in silence. He wouldn't stay quiet for long though, as another golden beam began to trace along the gridsphere, and the very inner workings of the craft's most critical parts and processes were put on full view in schematic form across the grid like a holographic projection. Puffles continued to be silent and Ze was far too enthralled by the situation to take any particular notice of this, but Ro gasped and clecnhed his fists, stamping his foot on the ground. Being so small, the action had little in the way of visual or auditory impact.
"Hey! She can't show that stuff! It's trade sec---"
Puffles jerked his head in Ro's direction and gave him a stern stare. The little Neko seemed to briefly teeter on the edge of further voluminous rebellion, but merfed quietly - the discipline which the cyborg exerted over him won out in the end, and he once again went back to silently watching, though he kept his clenched fists and annoyed expression.
Lyrial continued uttering her strange language, and various progression of the schematical layouts appeared across the grid, including coloured notations of what were obviously parts damaged in the collision. Ro merfed each time more of his scientific secrets were exposed, but continued to say nothing. The runed circles began to spin, two clockwise while the one in the middle counterclockwise. Ze lifted his paws and folded them against his chest as his eyes widened and he took in a deep breath - it seemed the excitement was quite powerful on him, and he could barely contain himself. Ro, however, did not share in his spiritual brother's wonderment - he simply seemed to get more annoyed with each passing second.
When the blueprint layout reduced in size and shrank into the ship, Ro's annoyance seemed to lessen a little. The Cyborg nodded and seemed to be pouring over his own thoughts about the situation in silence. All the commotion slowly came to a halt as the ship was lowered back to the ground, with the red inscriptions of the circles ending up in a straight line formation. Somewhat anticlimactically in Ze's eyes, everything except the ship itself seemed to just vanish. He had been expecting a big finish, but it didn't diminish his awe of the situation. Lyrial returned to normal, hair falling back to the sides of her head and book returning to rest upon her palm.
"The ship is now in a state of self-repair and will be fully repaired soon enough." Lyrial smiled and turned to everyone. "What you said earlier about dimensional pockets kind of makes me want to know how your master went about trying to make it work." Puffles blinked a few times and looked taken aback - apparently he had gotten lost in his own thoughts and had not expected to be addressed so quickly.
"I thank you kindly for what you have done, and were it not for my Master's current displacement, I am sure he would be just as thankful. As for my Master's attempt at spacetime manipulation..." Puffles paused briefly and scratched his chin. "...I am not qualified to explain his methodology to you, for I am not very well versed on the particular subject. Perhaps he would tell you hims---"
"Like hell I would! First she goes off callin me a dagone pervert and then puts the layouts of my work for the whole friggin world to see! It's basic ethics man, you dun do that kind of crap!" Ro shouted as he shook a fist at Lyrial and frowned. Puffles turned sharply to the rowdy Ro and clamped a blue hand on the little Neko's shoulder, firm but not to harm.
"You will watch your attitude, little Ro, and show some respect. You do not even know who Miss Lyrial truely is, nor the goings-on that preceded your arrival." Ro sneered at the Cyborg, but Puffles countered by leaning in close, directly at eye level. "Remember who it is that you represent, and who's image you risk damaging by acting so unthoughtful. You would find only regret in your heart if his name were to be sullied by what you had done." Ro's head dropped into a droop and he sighed sadly, having been defeated for what seemed the third time.
Ze giggled quietly, a paw clamped over his little mouth. "Mwehehehe....thass what ya get fer callin me a fathead!~" He would then look towards Simi in regards to whatever the Unicorn's position may have been at the moment. "Didya see all that? Wasn't it awwwwwweeeeeessssooommmmmeeee!? ^-^ How didya do thattttt!?", he directed the last part of that in Lyrial's direction.
I am sorry for having taken so long - there is no valid excuse for it. But I thank you for not letting this topic fall away.

Ze blinked, expression blank as if he didn't exactly understand Simi, but the awkward silence wasn't given a chance to live very long.
"See, yer head's so fat ya can't even think of the simple stuff," 'Zero' shouted from a distance. "Simi ain't ever met us before, dingleberry! Think about it!"
When the white cat's face remained clueless, his darker companion added, "It ain't that hard! She met ZERO, not us!"
It was Simi's turn to blink in surprise. Neither of these cats were Zero?
Meanwhile, unknown to the blue unicorn, Lyrial had begun the long, complicated process of mending Puffle's ship.
Beside her, Ze spoke with sudden sense, "Ohhhhh, thassright...you dun know, do yo---"
Ze was cut off by a low grunt from Puffles. The tall blue man then said just loud enough for both cats to hear, "Watch now."
The two cats then looked past Simi, and, curious, the unicorn followed their gaze only to whicker and prick her ears forward, enchanted by the scene.
Suspended in air, her hair flowing behind her weightlessly, Lyrial had begun chanting the necessary words to begin the ships repair, their echos smooth but soft with an ancient ring to them. In front of her the spell-book itself rose off her knowing hands, remaining opened.
A crystal shaped golden spot of existence appeared in front of Lyrial, standing between her and the ship. From its center came three circles, each wider than the last starting from the inside. It looked like a three-ringed saturn, and Simi's breath was taken away in awe.
"Oh! Oh! That looks magical! Look, Simi! Look!" Ze, the cloudy-furred, kitten-like nekojin, was pointing at the scene with excitement.
Simi, despite the hypnotizing awe of the three-ringed saturn, was able to break the spell over her and nudged Ze's ear gently. "Yes, it's very magical!"
The rings, uncaring of the audience watching it, rotated within each other, each going an opposite direction than the circle before it, starting and stopping with little clicks. When all had had their turn, Lyrial's voice rose again, with the same ancient, powerful ring.
A golden light then spurt from the red circle, striking the ship and in doing so, releasing a golden sphere that grew around the ship, sealing it from the world and pulling it gently into the air like the human that commanded for it to do so. Simi could hear more discussions between Ze, Ro, and Puffles, but by now she was too wrapped up in the doings of Lyrial to pay attention.
Images of the ship, in an untouched, undamaged form, appeared, and as she turned her head briefly to look at the girl Simi was surprised that Lyrial was still chanting, keeping everything at work. The saturn rings then began spinning all at the same time in the same directions that each had gone before, enthralling both Simi and Ze, as it seemed, for the white cat folded his paws against his chest and breathed in wonder.
It had seemed as if the magical experience would last forever, and Simi would grow lost in its beautiful wonder, but at last it had to end. The ship was lowered back to the ground, its former surrounding spells and binds seeming to fade away, and Lyrial herself was returning to earth, the book to her hand. She then sighed, nodding with apparent satisfaction, and turned to her audience.
"The ship is now in a state of self-repair and will be fully repaired soon enough. What you said earlier about dimensional pockets kind of makes me want to know how your master went about trying to make it work," she addressed Puffles.
"I thank you kindly for what you have done," Puffles answered, "and were it not for my Master's current displacement, I am sure he would be just as thankful. "...I am not qualified to explain his methodology to you, for I am not very well versed on the particular subject. Perhaps he would tell you hims-"
"Like hell I would!" Ro suddenly interrupted, and Simi, caught by surprised, laid her ears back. Yes, it was easy to see that the black cat was not Zero. "First she goes off callin me a dagone pervert and then puts the layouts of my work for the whole friggin world to see! It's basic ethics man, you dun do that kind of crap!" Ro shouted as he shook a fist at the still-standing Lyrial. Two thoughts ran through Simi's head, then: Marvel at how Lyrial still had the energy to stand, and then dread for what new harm may come to the nekojin. Lyrial was sure to not tolerate any more from him, especially.
Puffles laid his hand on Ro's shoulder, giving a firm but harmless grasp. "You will watch your attitude, little Ro, and show some respect. You do not even know who Miss Lyrial truely is, nor the goings-on that preceded your arrival." He then leaned closer to him. "Remember who it is that you represent, and who's image you risk damaging by acting so unthoughtful. You would find only regret in your heart if his name were to be sullied by what you had done." Ro's head dropped with defeat and he sighed, unhappy at his lost argument.
Ze giggled quietly by Simi. "Mwehehehe....thass what ya get fer callin me a fathead!" He then looked over at Simi. "Didya see all that? Wasn't it awwwwwweeeeeessssooommmmmeeee!? ^-^" He then turned towards Lyrial, not giving Simi a chance to respond. "How didya do thattttt!?"
"Lyrial, that was amazing! Where did you learn these arts, or are they like second-nature to you?" Simi added, expressing her own marvel.
"See, yer head's so fat ya can't even think of the simple stuff," 'Zero' shouted from a distance. "Simi ain't ever met us before, dingleberry! Think about it!"

Lyrial wasn't at all surprised at Ro's outburst. She had indeed hurt him it seamed. She felt stupid for her actions and suddenly realized what Puffles said about Ro representing someone. Indeed, suddenly she realized that she was in the same boat. But with someone of a much higher stature. She indeed represented her Goddess, Slyphianess the Goddess of Hope and Moons. If she kept making herself look like a fool, than she would be setting a bad image of the goddess herself. With a somewhat downcast look Lyrial turned to Ro. "I...I am sorry. I overracted and shouldn't have called you a pervert. Afterall, you didn't do that one purpose. Slyphianess would be ashamed of me if I didn't put things right. I am deeply sorry, and hope that you can forgive me." Lyrial said, a little saddness echoing in her voice.
And if only Simi knew how much that spell had drained her. In fact, Lyrial knew that if she went directly into the next spell that she would have indeed collapsed. So a little small talk wouldn't hurt. Especially since there where some questions asked of her. She didn't see any harm in answering their questions, infact, now that she thought about it. She could even enlist their aid for the next spell! "Well, to start off. Magic is simply the mental control and manipulation of certain energies that exist in everything. I indeed learned to use magic and my teacher happened to be Slyphianess, the Goddess of Hope and Moons! She is like a second mother to me. She is the Goddess I serve. I have studied magic for a long time and now it does come to me like second-nature. But, the more advance spells I still need a book for. What you just witnessed was me tapping into and manipulating Holy energy. There are two catergories of energies; basic and special. We also call special energies advanced energies because they are much more difficult to control and manipulate." She paused, to allow everyone to assimulate that, and to also gain her breath.
Then she decided to continue, any questions asked during the pause would be answered after she finished. "The basic energies are fire, earth, water, electricity, wind, sonic, positive, and finally negetive energy. Those energies are found in everything, even if it would seam to not be possible, it is there. Those energies are the basic building blocks of all magic and all existance. The special, or advanced, energies are holy, unholy, shadow, light, divine, omega, order, chaos, arcane, ethereal, gravity, and time energies. As you can tell from many of those energies, they are much more potent and difficult to use than the basic energies. The Self-Repair spell is a powerful spell in the fact that it effects a large object. Let me explain. Positive and Holy energy both can be used to heal and repair. Postive energy though can only do so much, and can repair only breaks, but can not restore the dead or completely destroyed objects. Plus it can only effect small areas at a time. If I had decided to use positive energy to repair the ship, it would hav taken me six months to fully repair it, at least that is according to what the blueprints where showing as damaged. Instead, I used holy energy. Holy energy can do everything positive energy can do in healing and repair, and much more. Such as it can bring back the dead, and completely recreate destroyed objects with out any additional resources. The plus side is that the repair process will be complete in a few weeks to two months, instead of the six months if I had used positive energy." She paused once more, willing to listen to all questions, but again, answeres would have to wait. For she would explain the next spell to them.
"Ok, now listen closely, I am about to explain the next spell to you." She told them, a very excited look on her face. Yes, she had indeed started smiling once again somewhere during the second explanation. "I am about to send the ship into a pocket dimension. Essentially I will be creating a sub reality that only the ship exists in. And I will be sliding that dimension so that it exists concurrently with our dimension, thus allowing with a simple command to reappear when needed again! This spell though, uses one of the two most powerful and difficult energies to use. Divine energy, the energy of the gods. But don't worry. If I do fail at the spell, all that will happen is that I will pass out and after a few days of sleeping I will wake up with the worst possible migraine imaginable! But, you guys can help! How would you all like to participate in helping with the spell! I promise that it will be harmless and there is no danger to you." She said with a smile. Yes, if she did indeed enlist there help, not only would there be a guarenteed success rate, but she would pass out and wake up with a migraine.
There are so very many dramatic ways that vast, incomprehensible galactic phenomena can kill you, that every single day that you go unmurdered by space is a miracle.

Lyrial's gaze shifted downward momentarily, and what could have been interperted as regret made itself apparent across her face. Ro huffed when she turned in his direction, and almost had a mind to turn his back on her, until she began speaking. "I...I am sorry. I overracted and shouldn't have called you a pervert. Afterall, you didn't do that one purpose. Slyphianess would be ashamed of me if I didn't put things right. I am deeply sorry, and hope that you can forgive me." Ro's brow furrowed, and for a moment he looked stuck for action, unable to come to a decision as to what he wanted to do next. His gut reaction was to disregard her apology - afterall, she had openly exposed the secrets of his work, and to him it was much like revealing the methods behind a magician's magic trick.
But Puffles' words lingered in his mind and it even seemed that Lyrial had heeded them in regards to her own situation, though he had no idea who "Slyphianess" was. Paws clenched tightly, Ro took a deep intake of breath and let out a bit of a low, perturbed meow, before finally sighing and shaking his head.
"Mreh...it ain't...it ain't that big of a deal I guess. This whole thing's been a lil weird anyways...dun worry about it...."
His gaze seemed to be averted and he was blushing noticeably - it wasn't very easy for him to keep his attitude down and he wasn't exactly sure what to say without it, so he just went quiet. Ze decided it was an appropriate time to speak up.
"It's mah fault it happened...and if it means anythin, I'm really sorry too! Really really! I'll watch where I'm goin from now on, I promise!" The White Neko scratched the back of his head a little bit and grinned with a strong blush. Puffles' gaze swept over the two cat creatures and he smiled, happy to see them making their efforts.
"Lyrial, that was amazing! Where did you learn these arts, or are they like second-nature to you?" inquired Simi, and this brought the attention of both Nekojin and the Cyborg upon Lyrial - though they had not spoken in, they were each just as interested in learning the mechanics behind what Lyrial had just done.
"Well, to start off. Magic is simply the mental control and manipulation of certain energies that exist in everything. I indeed learned to use magic and my teacher happened to be Slyphianess, the Goddess of Hope and Moons! She is like a second mother to me. She is the Goddess I serve. She paused for a moment, and from this Ro gathered who Sylphianess was. A goddess apparently, and when he pondered this he gently scratched his chin and stared into the sky. He didn't know terribly much about gods and goddesses...what did it mean to govern over hope and moons? He wondered if there was a correlation between the two, perhaps that maybe moons were a symbol of hope or something? It seemd that Ro's mind lacked the focus necessary to really ponder what she had said and he quickly lost his train of thought. While being split in two certainly allowed Zero to not be so lonely when he lacked properly, it hurt the mental and physical abilities of his dopplegangers in various ways. Ro sighed and opted just to continue listening, as Ze was doing the same, though the white Neko seemed much more excited about it - fists clenched in anticipation, ears and eyes focused towards Lyrial, Ze almost seemed to be holding his breath in anticipation of what she had to say next. Puffles was as quiet and observant as he'd ever been - if he had questions, he'd save them until she was done.
"The basic energies are fire, earth, water, electricity, wind, sonic, positive, and finally negetive energy. Those energies are found in everything, even if it would seam to not be possible, it is there. Those energies are the basic building blocks of all magic and all existance. Ro blinked a few times, as he angled his body away from onlookers and stared down into one of his open paws. Small sparks of black electricity crackled above his palm, and he watched it. He wondered what type of energy it was that he and Ze were capable of channeling, and what Zero was also capable of, though to a larger extent with him. He wasn't in a place to ask, however, as Puffles chimed in with his own question.
"Miss Lyrial, there is one thing in particular I am curious about. You say Holy energy can do everything that Positive energy can, but even more? What is positive energy's purpose, then, if it is consistently outshined by holy energy? Is it merely a lesser form of energy relegated to lesser tasks, where the usage of Holy energy would be overcompensatory? Perhaps I do not fully understand the correlation between these two types of energy. Could you better explain their relationship to me?" Puffles crossed his arms and tilted his head to the side a bit, assured that he would eventually get his answer when Lyrial was finished speaking.
Lyrial's mood seemed to take a sudden upturn, and her voice became more excitable as she went on to explain the next spellcast. "I am about to send the ship into a pocket dimension. Essentially I will be creating a sub reality that only the ship exists in. And I will be sliding that dimension so that it exists concurrently with our dimension, thus allowing with a simple command to reappear when needed again! "The energy of the gods!? Oh..oh m-m-m-my...." Even with Lyrial's assurance that there would be no danger, the actual thought of using energy that was normally reserved for Gods certainly unnerved Ze a great deal. "I...I d-d-d-dunno...." Ro rolled his eyes and sighed, before he began to speak.
"This crap's a little too much for us, yaknnow! That's a lot of junk to be lumpin on us all at once! Our brains don't work quite so well like this, and it's giving me a headache." Puffles almost looked as if to say something to Ro, but the black Nekojin held up a paw and shook his head, for his intention was not to cause more trouble. "Look, I ain't got no problem pitchin in, but I ain't doin it like this." Ro looked towards Ze, and Ze looked back with something of a knowing, sad expression on his face.
"But...but I dun...I dun wanna go yet! I haven't got enough chance to get ta know everybody and...and...I dun wanna go! ;___;"
"Oh don't be a fricken whiner all the time! You'll still get ta meet everybody, and you know damn well we'll be a lot more helpful when were not bickerin all the time anyways!"
To this, Ze sighed and hung his head a little bit, giving a small defeated nod. "Yah....I guess that's true..."
Ro rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Hey, tell ya what. You can be the body this time, okay? Does that cheer ya up?"
It seemed to do just that, as Ze's eyes lit up and a smile came across his face. "Okay! Sure! ^-^"
Though it could be seen as an ambiguous conversation, Puffles was perfectly aware of what the two Nekojin were talking about, and he spoke to both Lyrial and Simi. "Would the two of you mind terribly giving the little ones time to recompose themselves...? I wish not that we are a source of interruption, but having my Master back would make me quite happy, and he would indeed be more helpful as one than as many." His question was not for them to leave for a minute, but merely if they would spare the time that the forthcoming process would take.

His question was not for them to leave for a minute, but merely if they would spare the time that the forthcoming process would take.
Lyrial, catching the other nekojin's words, looked beyond Ze and Simi and over to Ro.
"I...I am sorry," she started. "I overracted and shouldn't have called you a pervert. Afterall, you didn't do that one purpose. Slyphianess would be ashamed of me if I didn't put things right. I am deeply sorry, and hope that you can forgive me."
Ro seemed to be a little unsure of how to answer Lyrial's plea for forgiveness, but after some moments of thinking, the black furred cat clenched his paws, breathed in deeply and mewed in a low volume. He sighed and shook his head as if to release his last bit of hesitance.
"Mreh...it ain't...it ain't that big of a deal I guess. This whole thing's been a lil weird anyways...dun worry about it...." the nekojin avoided Lyrial's face and was blushing enough for it to be seen under his fur. Simi whickered softly and looked back at Lyrial in relief. She was glad that the two had made up.
"It's mah fault it happened," Ze piped in. "...and if it means anythin, I'm really sorry too! Really really! I'll watch where I'm goin from now on, I promise!" Ze gave a friendly grin to finish, blushing considerably himself. Puffles also seemed pleased at the peace between everyone around him.
Simi then turned her attention on the ship.
"Lyrial, that was amazing! Where did you learn these arts, or are they like second-nature to you?" The cats and cyborg behind her also rested their gaze on the girl.
Lyrial, seeming to have thought up an idea, then gave an answer.
"Well, to start off. Magic is simply the mental control and manipulation of certain energies that exist in everything. Simi remained silent, breathing out in wonder.
Lyrial then continued, "The basic energies are fire, earth, water, electricity, wind, sonic, positive, and finally negetive energy. "Ok, now listen closely, I am about to explain the next spell to you." Now Lyrial was beaming with excitement. If I do fail at the spell, all that will happen is that I will pass out and after a few days of sleeping I will wake up with the worst possible migraine imaginable!"
Now the sky-shaded unicorn couldn't help but to open her mouth, about to ask more about the consequences Lyrial would be enduring. Passing out for a few days sounded serious, no matter how lightly Lyrial had mentioned it. But before she could get the words out Lyrial began speaking again. "But, you guys can help! How would you all like to participate in helping with the spell! I promise that it will be harmless and there is no danger to you." She finished her request with a smile.
Simi pricked her ears forward. Perhaps, if she did help, Lyrial wouldn't have to endure such an energy drain? "Help? I'd love to-"
"The energy of the gods!? " Ze exclaimed beside her. "Oh..oh m-m-m-my...." Poor little Ze seemed shaken by this idea. "I...I d-d-d-dunno...."
Behind them, Ro sighed. "This crap's a little too much for us, yaknnow! That's a lot of junk to be lumpin on us all at once! Our brains don't work quite so well like this, and it's giving me a headache." Puffles almost looked as if to say something to Ro, but the black cat held his paw in the air and shook his head. "Look, I ain't got no problem pitchin in, but I ain't doin it like this." Ro and Ze then shared a glance between each other, and Ze appeared worried, knowing what Ro was suggesting.
"But...but I dun...I dun wanna go yet! I haven't got enough chance to get ta know everybody and...and...I dun wanna go! ;___;"
Simi blinked and looked over at Ro, pleading silently for him not to win the argument. She also was just getting to know them, and saying goodbye so soon was a sad thought. Where and why did the two nekojins have to go?
"Oh don't be a fricken whiner all the time! You'll still get ta meet everybody, and you know damn well we'll be a lot more helpful when were not bickerin all the time anyways!"
Ze then sighed, looking deflated. "Yah....I guess that's true..."
"Hey, tell ya what," Ro then added. "You can be the body this time, okay? Does that cheer ya up?"
Now Ze was much happier, and he responded joyfully, "Okay! Sure! ^-^"
Simi couldn't be more confused as to what the cats were talking about, but Puffles seemed to know exactly what Ro had meant, as he turned to Lyrial and Simi and asked politely, "Would the two of you mind terribly giving the little ones time to recompose themselves...? I wish not that we are a source of interruption, but having my Master back would make me quite happy, and he would indeed be more helpful as one than as many."
"W... what?" Simi tipped her head. "But, why would they have to leave for Zero to come back?" As much as she missed Zero, she didn't understand why they all couldn't be here at the same time.
"I...I am sorry," she started. "I overracted and shouldn't have called you a pervert. Afterall, you didn't do that one purpose. Slyphianess would be ashamed of me if I didn't put things right. I am deeply sorry, and hope that you can forgive me."

The plus side is that the repair process will be complete in a few weeks to two months, instead of the six months if I had used positive energy.
"Ok, now listen closely, I am about to explain the next spell to you." Now Lyrial was beaming with excitement.

Lyrial was happy that Ro had accepted her appology. She was also suprised at Ze's appology. But decided not to argue the point. At this point it was time to answer questions. She would while Ze and Ro recomposed themselves. Lyrial was curious what they were talking about though. Almost sounded like a person that had split personalities. Ro even gave Ze the option to be the body. Now Lyrial was really confused about the pair. But, for now she would focus on answering the questions. She even heard what Simi had said before being cut off by Ze. She would help, that was good.
"While we wait for Ze and Ro I shall answer your question Puffle. And a good question it is indeed!" Lyrial said smiling. "As you all know every living creature has a soul. Souls are composed of positive energy. Holy energy is used to shape and meld the positive energy into souls but are not part of souls what so ever. It is true that you can find holy energy in the souls of good people, same with unholy energy being in the souls of evil people. But neither energy used as the material composition of the soul itself. So in a way Positive energy is a very important energy, but is week when used for other purposes and is easy to manipulate. I hope that helps you understand the main differences between the two in what they are used for. Positive energy is basically life energy Holy energy is basically the energy of good." Lyrial said, hoping to have answered Puffles question. A complicated question that Lyrial could have spent all day answering if she had wanted to.
Lyrial decided to wait till what ever Ze and Ro were doing was finished before explaining the proccess of the spell they would be helping with. In the meantime she decided to at least set up the area so that it would be ready for use. So once again with the book in her left hand she raised her right arm parallel to the ground and started chanting again in that anciint tongue. But instead of circles appearing in the air in front of her a large circle appeared on the ground with the ship itself in the center. Around the circle were four much smaller circles, only big enough for someone of simi's size or smaller to stand in. Each circle were the same distance from each other, each one at a point towards the main directions, true north, east, south, and west. Each of the smaller circles had a five point star in side them, with the top of each star pointed towards the dircetion that circle was in. Namely the top of the star in the north circle pointed north, the east star pointed east, the south star pionted south, and the west star pointed west. After she had formed the circle Lyrial looked at it and wondered why only four circles.

There are so very many dramatic ways that vast, incomprehensible galactic phenomena can kill you, that every single day that you go unmurdered by space is a miracle.

"W... what?" Simi tipped her head in possible confusion. "But, why would they have to leave for Zero to come back?" Puffles blinked a few times, and looked over at the two Nekojin, though directing his words at Simi.
"It would be impossible for little Ze and little Ro to exist as they are now alongside my Master, for they are component---"
"Ey, come on! If she ain't figured it out yet, dun go ruinin the mystery! We ain't ever shown nobody outside the house this before! It'll be wicked!" Ro seemed to have been swept up in a wave of anticipatory excitement. Not only would recombining ease the pressure on the little Nekojins minds and make them more useful as a whole, but it was an opportunity to show off and the prideful little Ro wasn't going to miss out on that.
"Dun worry Simi! We aren't really 'leaving'! We'll just...take up less space! ^-^;" He giggled softly, scratching his chin and blushing. "Heck, we can always come back later!" Ro added, and Ze nodded in agreement. "But this aint no time fer lollygaggin 'er worryin! Let's get this buisness wrapped up and move on."
"Right!" exclaimed Ze, and the two of them nodded at Lyrial and Simi before they both dashed 20 or so yards away, talking amongst themselves as they prepared to do what they were going to do. Meanwhile, Lyrial went on to answer Puffles' question, and the Cyborg listened intently as she spoke.
"As you all know every living creature has a soul. Souls are composed of positive energy. Holy energy is used to shape and meld the positive energy into souls but are not part of souls what so ever. "Interesting...Holy energy is integral in molding Positive energy to perform it's function, a function that Holy energy is incapable of performing of it's own accord. Perhaps like a sculptor or a builder with their materials, for it is by their hands that their constructs come to fruition, but it is the materials they used that serve as the very core of the construct."
Puffles was satisfied with the answer he had been given, but a new curiosity had arisen in him. Lyrial stated that every living creature had a soul, and to an extent Puffles had been aware of that...however, he wondered if it were true of himself due to his artificial creation. Almost cliche it was, for much of human science fiction had based entire stories around automatons who questioned the validity of their own existence...but it was from these very sources that Puffles had spent reading in his free time that he too wondered the very same thing.
The Cyborg may have looked slightly troubled for a time, but he abolished the thought for the present and focused his gaze on Lyrial, who was preparing for her next spellcast.
Just as before Lyrial began to speak in a very unusual dialect, and just as before Puffles did not understand a word of it. But it was clear she was saying things that held meaning, for as the words came out of her mouth, so too did things come out of thin air. Circles similar in nature as the ones that appeared in her last spellcast appeared now, one centered and surrounding the fallen vessel while four more rested upon exact points around the center circle.
His attention was specifically drawn to the five pointed stars that appeared in the teritiary circles. The symbol reminded him of something, something he had seen only once before...yet it was as if the thought was on the very edge of his mind, and he could not retrieve it for clarity. It made the Cyborg a little uneasy in a strange way, and so he resolved to watch the little Nekojin as they went on.
Ze and Ro were huddled close together, talking quietly amongst one another.
"I really get to be the body this time? Really really?" Ze asked Ro, wondering if his doppleganger had intended to withdraw the promise he made earlier.
"Yeah. Always fun to try something new...I guess." Ro seemed a little uneasy, and Ze caught on to this, blinking and looking concerned.
"You aren't scared or nuffin are ya?"
"No! I ain't scared! I ain't scareda nuffin! Don't be weird!" It was obvious however that Ro was trying a bit too hard to feign bravery and there was nobody that Ze could read better than his spirit twin. "You ARE scared....but...but whatfor? We do this all the time!"
"I ain't...dagone it now you...I ain't fricken...." he paused for a moment, looking down at the ground. "...it just looks so weird when you do it! Doesn't it...don't it hurt!?" Ro asked, anxiousness quite obvious across his visage. He wondered if he had made his promise to Ze erroneously, for although they had participated in this process many many times, since the very beginning Ro had acted as the body and Ze had acted as the soul. Switching the roles now unnerved him quite a bit. "No...no no! It dun hurt at all! It's a little funny feeling, but it dun hurt or nuffin! Kinda like goin to sleep fer a little bit and then I wake up as Zero!"
Even with this assurance, however, the anxiousness did not fade from Ro's expression and he moved his head from side to side in a nervous way. "I promise....I promise, cross my heart, hope ta die, stick a poodle in my eye, that it dont hurt a bit! Come on..." Ze inched forward a bit and grasped Ro's paws in his own, which in turn caused Ro to snap to attention with a strong blush.
"Leggo..." Ro said in a halfhearted whisper, but Ze merely giggled. "Ya dun have to worry so much...I'll talk ya through it! And before ya know it, we'll be Zero again and havin all sorts of fun with Puffles and Simi and Lyrial tooo and everythin and stuff! And more stuff! Come onnn! ^-^" Ze squeezed Ro's paws tightly and hopped up and down a few times. This display seemed to embarrass Ro a little, and he inwardly hoped nobody was staring at them for the moment. However, it did equally well in comforting him, and he could not help but smile, nodding softly. "Okay...just....quit bein so damn hyper, yeesh!" Ro shook his paw free of Ze's grasp and stepped backwards, shaking his arms as he loosened his muscles and prepared for what was soon to come. Ze mewed happily, stepping back some as well.
"You...you know what to do?" Ro asked, and Ze nodded in response. "Ahuh! Just gotta power up! Or like you say..." Ze clenched his fisats and puffed out his chest, impersonating what Ro often did in the past. "FULL POWER! TO THE MAX BABY, WE'RE HITTIN MACH TEN! THROUGH THE RAWR-ROOF! HOO-YEAH!" Ze couldn't hold his composure for long though, as he fell into a fit of giggles and nearly toppled over. From where he was watching, Puffles laughed and shook his head softly. Ro had his palm planted firmly against his face and groaned. "Y...yeah...that was supposed to be between us....just...just get on with it! X("
Ze nodded and Ro, following a deep breath, nodded in return. Both of them had sent silent signals to one that they were ready, for once the process had started it could not be stopped lest they be unable to repeat it for a few days. The dialogue between them had come to a halt and nothing but silence hung in the air that seperated the two.
Ze closed his eyes, tightened his muscles...and began to concentrate. Slowly there came gentle disturbances in the air that surrounded Ze, almost like tiny ripples in space. The distortions progressed from random disturbances to a more consistent presence, corckscrewing around Ze's body and causing some of his furr to stand up as they passed over him. Small streaks of white lightning streaked across the air near Ze, and this was the cue for the spacial distortions to evolve into a flowing white aura. Dim and barely noticeable at first, it steadily grew into a bright white blaze that enveloped Ze entirely. The force of his building power was tangible in the immediate area, as snow near the nekojin was being lifted off the ground and pushed outward.
Puffles tilted his head to the side a little bit. "So, they are trying something new...interesting."
Ro watched his brother intently nodding with approval as Ze's energy was reaching it's peak. Ze's eyes snapped open and he threw his arms out to both sides shouting loudly as his aura seemed to explode outward before shrinking back in. The intense energy barrier kept up a steady rhythm flowing up Ze's body and the white nekojin nodded, blowing out a puff of air as he stepped closer to Ro. "Okay...this is enough, right?"
"Yeah, that's plenty." Ro looked down at his paws. "Guess it's my turn...wha....what do I do?" Ze smiled and stifled a giggle, finding his brother's anxiety cute in a funny way. He shook off the thought and nodded. The loud crackles of aura lightning in the air did not seem to disturb him as he spoke. "You start off the same, jess like you normally do, ya gotta power up...but instead of focusing it, instead of holding back...you gotta let it go." Ro nodded slowly. "You'll...you'll be here, right?" Ze laughed. "Of course! I ain't goin nowhere! I'll catch you, I promise promise! You dun haveta be worried! I never was. Trust me, okay?" Ze held a thumbs up with a wink, and with a brief moment of hesitation, Ro responded with a similar gesture. "Okay...."
So too the black Nekojin began to increase his energy with a determined, serious expression on his face, and just as it had with Ze, the air around Ro rippled, going on to transform into a black lightning streaked aura of his own. But he did not cease his buildup, instead continuing to build energy as his aura expanded to twice the size of Ze's own. Snow was flung away from his body in all directions and the streaks of lightning ratcheted up in intensity.
Ro grimaced as he tried to hold the energy together, every muscle in his body tightened, exerting. Ze stepped forward quickly and spoke directly to Ro. "No...don't try to control it. You have to let it go..." Ro, however, did not cease in his efforts, speaking between strained breaths as he maintained his concentration. "I...I can't...I'm...I'm really scared!" Ze shook his head softly and extended a paw towards Ro. "Dun be scared...take my hand...you always caught me." Ro looked at Ze, teeth gritted as the raging energy swirled around his body. "I'll catch you." Ro's eyes snapped shut as he reached out to grasp Ze's paw, fingers intertwined.
And with that, he ceased his attempts to contain the energy. His entire body seemed to 'glow' a deep abyssal black. Ze held his paw tight as lines of the purest white light streaked over Ro's visage with sounds like clashing blades, creating a haphazard crossection of his entire form. What appeared to be tiny shards of black glass were flaking off as his body began to dissolve away, starting at the tips of his ears, tail and feet, moving from there. "It....it's...like going to sleep...?" Ro whispered quietly, and Ze nodded softly. "Yup...and when ya wake up...we'll be Zero again. ^^" Ro held his eyes closed as he tightly squeezed Ze's paw. More and more his body dissolved away until it became that Ro was no longer there, only the obsidian shards remained to gather around, orbiting Ze much like the rings of Saturn.
Ze held his paws open high above his head, and the orbiting shards converged on the spot just above his palms. Like a supernatural stormcloud it hung above him, crackling with streaks of lightning and bristling with great energy. From the center of the cloud descended a dark spiraling beam that mixed in with Ze's aura and created a distinct split, with one half of the aura pure white, while the other half was a deep black. It did not take long for the energy to drain completely into his aura, until there was nothing left to float above him. The white nekojin sighed quietly, and looked over to Lyrial, Simi, and Puffles, calling out to them in a cheery voice.
"Well, I'll seeya later! Dun have too much fun without meeeee! ~^-^~" With that, he folded his arms across his chest, looked down, and closed his eyes. The flow of his energy fluctuated violently and began to swirl around him at a blazing speed. It quickly consumed Ze in an opaque typhoon and the mixture of black / white soon became a new, unexpected colour...a bright, vibrant pink. The flamboyantly tinted hurricane swirled faster and faster, sucking up nearby snow into it's vortex and causing air to flow towards it from all around. Then, with a brilliant and final explosion, the energy was dispelled in all directions as a bright pink streak shot into the air, arced, and came spiraling back down, though less as a pink streak and more as a fuzzy black cat-humanoid.
Zero slammed into the ground feetfirst as snow was thrown up all around him and skidded to a halt a few yards from Puffles' group, nearly losing his balance but managing to regain his composure at the last second by wildly windmilling his arms. Though at first he may have looked like Ro, there were differences - Zero was four inches taller, had shoulderlength, slightly messy black hair, white tipped ears and a white stripe on each cheek that started at the outer corner of each eye and curved down his cheeks, ending at the corners of his mouth. Because neither Ze nor Ro wore a shirt, Zero did not end up with one, and an upside-down triangle shaped tuft of white furr could be seen in dead center of his chest. He had to think fast of what to do next, so he struck a cheesy pose - fists clenched with one held to his side and the other triumphantly in the air, he grinned big and called out.
"I am neither Goku nor Vegeta! I am the one who will destroy you!"
Wrong line, stupid. Do you want them to think you're a nutter?
"Uh! Er. I mean umm...well. I'm Zero!" Of course, Puffles and likely Simi already knew that, but Lyrial did not so he felt it appropriate to introduce himself. Hopefully she wouldn't get the impression he was insane.
Although it was likely the insanity label would fall on Puffles, as the Cyborg broke free from his disciplined, quiet stance and charged at his master. Zero squeaked quietly as the Cyborg hugtackled him into the snow, enveloping the Nekojin with his large form and hugging the everliving crap out of him.
"Master Zero! It has been far too long without your presence! You do not know how much I have missed you!" he paused in between squeezing and nuzzling cheek-to-cheek with the Nekojin, who was giggling quite furiously from the attention, even amongst his embarrassment. "You are safe and sound and well! I am most happy! Most most happy!" the Cyborg exclaimed excitedly.
"Okay! Okay! I missed ya too Puff! Take it easy! Take it easssssyyyy!" Luckily for Zero, Puffles had a mind for the situation and he let up, where he otherwise would not have for quite a long time. With a few final squeezes and nuzzles, the Cyborg rose to his feet and offered a hand to help Zero up, which the Nekojin accepted gratefully. He stood once again facing in the direction of Lyrial and Simi, scratching the back of his head and grinning sheepishly.
"Sooooo....yeah! What's happenin!?"
"It would be impossible for little Ze and little Ro to exist as they are now alongside my Master, for they are component---"
"Ey, come on! If she ain't figured it out yet, dun go ruinin the mystery! We ain't ever shown nobody outside the house this before! It'll be wicked!" Ze's eyes snapped open and he threw his arms out to both sides shouting loudly as his aura seemed to explode outward before shrinking back in.
Simi shuffled the snow with her hoof as she listened to Puffles and Ro, trying to understand what Ro meant.
"Dun worry Simi!" Ze then reassured her with a cheerful tone. "We aren't really 'leaving'! We'll just...take up less space! ^-^;" He giggled softly as he tended to an itch on his chin.
"Heck, we can always come back later!" Ro then added reassurance of his own, but it didn't seem as if he was waiting for the unicorn to respond as he quickly spoke up again. "But this aint no time fer lollygaggin 'er worryin! Let's get this buisness wrapped up and move on."
"Right!"
The two cats then turned back to her and Lyrial, nodding in an uncanilly similar way before dashing off. Simi wondered for a moment if she should follow, but her attention was returned to Lyrial when she heard the girl speaking again, answering an earlier question from Puffles.
So in a way Positive energy is a very important energy, but is weak when used for other purposes and is easy to manipulate. I hope that helps you understand the main differences between the two in what they are used for. Positive energy is basically life energy Holy energy is basically the energy of good."
"Interesting..." Puffles then commeted. "Holy energy is integral in molding Positive energy to perform it's function, a function that Holy energy is incapable of performing of it's own accord. Perhaps like a sculptor or a builder with their materials, for it is by their hands that their constructs come to fruition, but it is the materials they used that serve as the very core of the construct."
Simi found herself very intrigued by this idea, and she asked a little shyly, "Is it... like how unicorns use the energy in their horns to make flowers grow?"
However, it was immediately apparent that the unicorn had asked her question a little late, for Lyrial was speaking that strange, ancient language again...
This time there was no show of rotating circles around jewels, but the spell was marvelous all the same. A large circle appeared, gently casting existece on the ground with the ship safely in its center. Four smaller circles, each roughly Simi's size, lied around the grand circle in fixed points that Simi recognized as the main directions of the Earth- North, South, East and West. She knew this from her experiences as a Pheonix- and all birds have need of a natural sense of direction.
Within each smaller circle was a five-point star aiming toward the direction that its circle represented. When no more was added to the scene, Simi looked over at Lyrial and was surprised to see a slightly confused expression on her face. The blue unicorn then looked back at the circles and their stars, wondering what could have gone wrong...
And that was when the silence was broken by one Nekojin's eager exclamation: "FULL POWER! TO THE MAX BABY, WE'RE HITTIN MACH TEN! THROUGH THE RAWR-ROOF! HOO-YEAH!" Giggles followed this sudden noise, and off to her side Puffles had begun to laugh as well. Simi looked over to where Ze was on the brink of falling over with laughter and Ro had his paw pressed firmly against his face, shamed. At this the unicorn couldn't help but to whicker with her own humor, not very loud, but loud enough to be heard by those around her.
"Y...yeah..." Ro then forced out. "...that was supposed to be between us....just...just get on with it! X("
Ze then nodded, Ro doing the same after taking a deep breath. Simi tipped her head to the side, watching as the two stared at each other calmly, the silence between them eerie after seeing them so warm and friendly from earlier....
Feeling somewhat unnerved, she turned her attention back on Lyrial's spell, watching the points and their circles, looking the little details over delicately until she heard Puffles speak. "So, they are trying something new...interesting."
The unicorn's eyes were once again drawn towards the two nekojins, and she gasped with surprise and wonder.
Air swirled around Ze, blowing his fur and causing it to stand as streaks of lightning zoomed across the air near the white cat, slowly but steadily growing into a bright, blinding light that suddenly covered Ze from view, causing even the surrounding snow to lift off the ground and away from the force. Simi was locked to the scene, afraid and yet awed...
Ze's eyes snapped open and he threw his arms out to both sides shouting loudly as the white blazing light seemed to explode outward before hiding back within Ze's range, and he walked over to Ro, asking "Okay...this is enough, right?"
"Yeah, that's plenty." Ro looked down at his paws. "Guess it's my turn...wha....what do I do?" Ze smiled and nodded, the crackling lightning around him not seeming to bother him a bit, but Simi found herself flinching with every one.
"You start off the same," Ze said to Ro, "jess like you normally do, ya gotta power up...but instead of focusing it, instead of holding back...you gotta let it go." Ro nodded slowly. "You'll...you'll be here, right?"
Ze laughed innocently. "Of course! I ain't goin nowhere!" he assured his brother. "I'll catch you, I promise promise! You dun haveta be worried! I never was. Trust me, okay?" Ze held a thumbs up with a wink, and with a brief moment of hesitation, Ro responded with a similar gesture. "Okay...."
Simi smiled, touched by their trust in each other.
And so Ro began the same act of shining, crackling energy, just as awing (and unnerving) to the unicorn, only this time the energy was black, starting with black lightning streaks and building to the same energy as Ze's.... yet Ro did not stop as Ze had. He continued to nuture his lightning and crackles and fire until it was twice as much as Ze's. Snow was flung away from his body in all directions and the streaks of lightning ratcheted up in intensity.
Ro's face constricted as he tried to hold the energy together, every muscle in his body tightening until Ze stepped forward quickly and spoke directly to Ro. "No...don't try to control it. You have to let it go..." Ro, however, did not cease in his efforts, speaking between strained breaths as he maintained his concentration. "I...I can't...I'm...I'm really scared!"
At this Simi snorted quietly to herself, feeling nervous. Scared....? What are they doing?!
Ze shook his head softly and extended a paw towards Ro. "Dun be scared...take my hand...you always caught me." Ro looked at Ze, teeth gritted as the raging energy swirled around his body. "I'll catch you." Ro's eyes snapped shut as he reached out to grasp Ze's paw, fingers intertwined, and the unicorn knew that she as well could do nothing but to trust Ze's confidence.
And with that, he ceased his attempts to contain the energy. His entire body seemed to 'glow' a deep abyssal black. Ze held his paw tight as lines of the purest white light streaked over Ro's visage with the sounds of a hundred clashing swords that made Simi lay back her ears and take a few steps backward. Tiny shards of black glass then fell gently off the black cat's body like snow, and to the blue unicorn's dismay Ro started fading away into thin air.... the two of them began to whisper to each other, but only briefly and too far for Simi to hear.
Ro held his eyes closed as he tightly squeezed Ze's paw. More and more his body dissolved away until it became that Ro was no longer there, the black-winter snowflakes gathering around each other, orbiting Ze, reminding Simi of Lyrial's first rings.
Ze held his paws open high above his head, and the snowflakes gathered then above him, crackling again with energy, only greater than before. When it first returned Simi had almost reared up with alarm.
A spiraling beam then desceded from the black-snow cloud, mixing in with Ze's aura and creating a split with the energy, one side pure white and the other a dark, deep black.
Without warning the energy suddenly drained completely into Ze's aura, causing the snowy-white cat to sigh. He then looked over to Simi, Lyrial and Puffles, calling out cheerfully, "Well, I'll seeya later! Dun have too much fun without meeeee! ~^-^~" With that, he folded his arms across his chest, looked down, and closed his eyes. The flow of his energy fluctuated violently and began to swirl around him at a blazing speed that caused Simi to flinch away again. It quickly consumed Ze in an opaque typhoon and the mixture of black / white soon became a new, unexpected colour...a bright, vibrant pink. A pink that Simi realized, with a jolt, she had seen before......
And it was only now that she finally understood.... Her eyes widened and her mouth gaped as she tried to utter out something, but found her voice binded by the intensity of the scene.
The flamboyantly tinted hurricane swirled faster and faster, sucking up nearby snow into it's vortex and causing air to flow towards it from all around. Then, with a brilliant and final explosion, the energy was dispelled in all directions as a bright pink streak shot into the air, arced, and came spiraling back down, as a face that the unicorn knew well.
Zero slammed into the ground, landing on his feet and throwing snow around him with the impact. He skidded to a halt not too far away from Puffles, struggling at first to retain his balance, but in the end he managed to stand and strike a pose with his fists clenched, one hand held to his side and the other thrust into the air. He then called out, a huge grin on his face:
"I am neither Goku nor Vegeta! I am the one who will destroy you!...
"Uh! Er. I mean umm...well. I'm Zero!"
"Zero!" Simi stepped forward, happy to see her friend again, though not having fully recovered from the incredible transformation. To think that.... the whole time, he was the both of them!
Puffles suddenly charged at the black cat and glomped him in midair, throwing them both into the snow and embracing him all the more tightly.
Zero seemed to enjoy the reunion as well, despite looking a little suffocated. "Okay! Okay! I missed ya too Puff! Take it easy! Take it easssssyyyy!"
Simi began to laugh heartily.
Puffles surrendered to his master's plea- not before a few more affectionate nuzzles- and then rose to his feet, using his hand to help Zero up. The black cat stood once again facing in the direction of Lyrial and Simi, scratching the back of his head and grinning sheepishly.
"Sooooo....yeah! What's happenin!?"
"Zero, it's great to see you.... in one piece, I-I mean!" The unicorn trotted at a quick pace until she was only a few feet away from Zero. "I had no idea....!"
"Dun worry Simi!" Ze then reassured her with a cheerful tone. "We aren't really 'leaving'! We'll just...take up less space! ^-^;" He giggled softly as he tended to an itch on his chin.

Lyrial had still heard Simi's question. And thought about it while listening to the two Nekos talking. She decided that while she did not know what type of energy Simi used, it was indeed similiar to how magic was used. And she liked how Puffles linked sculpters and crafters to the difference between holy and positive energy. "Well Simi. I bet it is very much like how unicorn's can use the energy in the horns. I would think such life giving powers be either positive or holy energy based. And you are obsoletly correct puffles!" Lyrial said as she watched the entire scene of the two nekos.
It was funny with some of the stuff that was happening, but than the energy started dancing about in vicinity. Lyrial watched this with much interest. It was curious. She wondered if the two knew what types of energy they were using? She doubted they did. It almost looked like a perfect use of light and shadow energies being involved. But that would sound a little cliched. But Lyrial didn't care. The whole thing infront of her caused a new spell idea to run through her head. But she would have to test it out later. Much later. After they store the ship for safe keepings.
Than suddenly their auras combined to a pink one and out came a different taller neko. And everything went a little crazy! With what he said, his entrance, and Puffle's own stunt afterwords. She couldn't help but laugh a little. Her eyes dancing with colors of excitment and amusement. "That was awsome! Do you happen to know which type of energies you are channeling or using when you do that?" She asked, before realizing that Zero had asked a question of his own. That raised a new question..."You do keep the memories of Ze and Ro when you are recombined right?" It was a simple question. But a rather important one.

There are so very many dramatic ways that vast, incomprehensible galactic phenomena can kill you, that every single day that you go unmurdered by space is a miracle.

"Zero, it's great to see you.... in one piece, I-I mean!" Simi moved quickly, until she was but a scant few feet away from Zero. Zero blushed and smiled as the unicorn approached, the beauty and grace that he saw in her having not diminished in the slightest. "I had no idea....!" A big, goofy grin drew it's way across his face as he scratched the back of his head and shifted from foot to foot a little.
"Yehehehehe! Cept fer inside mah house, you and Lyrial are the first ta know aboutit!" He put a finger up to his mouth and whispered shhhhh, shaking his head softly. "But ya can't tell nobody! And I mean nobody! Izza big secret, and I'm thinkin to work it into a magicians act 'er somethin like that! Make people go ohhh and ahh...it'll be wicked!"
Or they'll accuse you of being a witch and have you burned at the stake.
He realized that he was rambling, and he coughed with a slightly intensified blush, shaking his head clear of extra thoughts.
"But it's good ta see you too, Simi!" Zero resisted the urge to run up and hug her - though he knew they both were friends, he wasn't sure if she'd appreciate such a gesture, not to mention his shortened stature and her equine body shape may have made a hug a little difficult to pull off. So he simply gave his cheeriest smile and a big thumbs up! It was then that Lyrial began to speak, and Zero focused his big, expressive blue eyes on her, ears perking to catch her words.
"That was awsome! Do you happen to know which type of energies you are channeling or using when you do that?" Zero blinked, hesitating for a moment. Washuu, his scientific mentor and overall guardian, had been the key component in teaching him how to wield his energy, which she explained as being drawn from his spirit, the very life force that sustained him. He remembered Lyrial's explanation to Puffles about Holy and Positive energies while he was in his split state, and wondered if maybe the energy had anything to do with those. Though Washuu and Lyrial probably used different terms, he imagined that they would likely correlate to the same types of energy. He held out a paw, flat palmed and open, summoning a small pink orb that crackled with electricity and floated just above his hand.
"Well...I know it's like mah life force. Mah soul, pretty much! I draw upon the energy of mah spirit and then I can do all sorts of neat stuff! But I can't draw too much or I'll really hurt mahself! It works differently when I'm in danger, though! It comes a whole lot more easily and I seem to have a bunch more of it! I can't explain it too well, izz just like a feelin!" He paused for a moment. "If I had ta guess, izz probably positive energy! But I'm just goin by whatchu talked about, I dun really know fer sure! I ain't ever heard of energy like the way you talked about em before!" He shrugged lightly and just smiled. Puffles, meanwhile, had shifted to the side a bit, so that his face was hidden from onlookers. Had anyone looked at him though, it would be clear the Cyborg had something on his mind, as his gaze was shifted towards the ground and he grasped a little nervously at the tail wrapped around his waist. Lyrial then continued on to ask another question.
"You do keep the memories of Ze and Ro when you are recombined right?" Zero blinked and nodded softly. "Ahuh, I sure do! Though its'a lil confusin sometimes, cause I mix up the point of view! I can't always tell who did what. Which dun help much when they start talkin bad bout me or gettin in trouble - I dunno who to yell at! Course..." He paused, looking down at his paws and giggling a bit. "...I can't yell at em anyways! But yuh, I remember!" He wnt on to prove this. "Like, yer Lyrial! Annnndddd....you thought I was a pervert! But I ain't! But you dun think that no more! At least I think you dun. You dun right? I dun do bad stuff like that, I'm no nastykat, man! I gots good manners n' everythin! Heck, I'd ask a gal out 'fore even thinkin about gettin close to her or anythin! Really!" He blushed suddenly again as he realized he was probably talking way too much and getting himself into a corner. So he did was he was apparently good at by now....grinned big, chuckled bashfully, and scratched the back of his head. The Cyborg took a glance at his Master and chuckled, shaking his head.
Good first impression. This is why you don't have many friends, you know.

Zero gave a wide grin. "Yehehehehe! Cept fer inside mah house, you and Lyrial are the first ta know aboutit!" He put a finger up to his mouth, shushing and shaking his head from side to side, making Simi giggle. "
"But ya can't tell nobody!" Zero then added, "And I mean nobody! Izza big secret, and I'm thinkin to work it into a magicians act 'er somethin like that! Make people go ohhh and ahh...it'll be wicked!"
The nekojin then paused and coughed, blushing slightly.
"But it's good ta see you too, Simi!" He smiled again and put his thumbs up, beaming.
"That was awesome!" Lyrial suddely exclaimed. "Do you happen to know which type of energies you are channeling or using when you do that?"
Zero blinked, hesitating for a moment. It seemed as if he needed to think of a good enough answer for Lyrial, one that she may understand. However, when his expression was no longer pondering, he held out his paw, a small pink sphere of crackling energy rising from his palm.

Simi started laughing again, remembering very well the wrath of Lyrial's snowballs and accusations on Ro.
"I gots good manners n' everythin!" Zero continued. "Heck, I'd ask a gal out 'fore even thinkin about gettin close to her or anythin! Really!" Then, realizing that he was rambling again, Zero simply gave another of his warm grins, blushing a little more than before. Off to the side, Puffles chuckled, his laugh somewhat deeper than his Master's.
Simi nudged the side of Zero's face lightly. "I liked Ze and Ro, but I have to admit it's much easier talking to you when you're whole!" And really, it was better. She liked talking to the Zero that she was familiar with- playful and lighthearted, and not so emotionally radical.
"But ya can't tell nobody!" Zero then added, "And I mean nobody! Izza big secret, and I'm thinkin to work it into a magicians act 'er somethin like that! Make people go ohhh and ahh...it'll be wicked!"

Lyrial just smiled. She was beginning to like Zero. The information he gave was useful. What he just did according to what Lyrial so drew upon light, shadow, positive, and holy energy. A very complex procedure, done by someone who was used to doing that often. She liked that, she was at the moment capable of multiple energy useage in a single spell herself, but it was very draining. Not someone did without giving it some serious thought first. Combining to many types at once could prove...fatal.
And he even kept all the memories of Ze and Ro. Than Lyrial saw the connection with the name. Very simple, but if one didn't know Zero or Ze and Ro they would have never seen the connection. A rather easy way of keeping a name, but giving two seperate entities their own identities. IT worked well. It also provided a small simple mathmatical formulae, Ze+Ro=Zero. Lyrial had to stifle a small laugh before it let lose. Enough thinking about math. Even though math was closely tied to magic.
"So than you should know what the plan for the ship is than right?" And suddenly the reason for the four circles was obvious. Fate knew that Ze and Ro would recombine into Zero and thus made it so that the circle would be complete with just four people, instead of five like Lyrial thought they were goign to have. That is the god of fate for you. Lyrial thought. Always playing his trump cards without anyone knowing.

There are so very many dramatic ways that vast, incomprehensible galactic phenomena can kill you, that every single day that you go unmurdered by space is a miracle.

If there ever comes a day where either of you need to hit something out of frustration for any reason, you could download Microsoft Fist 2.0 and email me a punch. I'd deserve it for this nonsense I'm pulling. ;__;
Stay away from Microsoft Fist 1.0, though, lot of bugs in that one. Some poor fella tried to send one to a snotty coworker but a kink in the system got it rerouted to his boss. He has clerical experience and is a competent handyman, if anyone's looking to hire.

"I liked Ze and Ro, but I have to admit it's much easier talking to you when you're whole!" The Unicorn Simi had gently nudged the side of Zero's face, and without realizing it he had emitted an immidiate purr. He blushed softly, cleared his throat, and blinked, hoping that she wouldn't say anything about it.
"Yuh...it's kinda weird sometimes, 'specially when yer two halves get to fightin...I mean that dun even make a lick o sense, ya know? I shouldn't be fightin with mahself, it's whacky dude!"
You fight with yourself plenty. Though, admittedly, it's a one sided fight - when's the last time your mouth ever won a battle?
He disregarded his own thoughts and merely smiled up at Simi, tail swishing from side to side behind him. Lyrial spoke up, and his attention shifted to her.
"So than you should know what the plan for the ship is than right?" Puffles seemed to shift nervously as the implications of this message became clear to him, and it seemed the Cyborg tried more to mentally distance himself from the situation. Zero eyed the cyborg for a moment, but did not bother to pursue the matter.
"Ahuh, I think so! Yer gonna stick it in space! Well, -a- space! Dimensional pockets and all that hubbub, bub! I got the gist of it...though it's wild you can do it without a single singularity pulse or oscillating gravitron wave to your name! You must be goooood!" There was not a hint of sarcasm in his voice if any were to be detected - Zero meant what he said with full sincerity. "And those circles, I bet they're fer folks to stand in! Though, once they're innit...what do they do? Do we get ta dance? I haven't danced inna while!" The black nekojin seemed to be getting a little hyperactive, and blushed at the thought of doing a wild and crazy dance...something that, if he ever did it, he hoped it would make people laugh.
Zero had fun things on his mind...but the Cyborg seemed only to worry. It seemed his fears of artificiality were being put to the test now...with all this talk of energy, he wondered if energy was the very thing they'd be contributing to this 'project'...what would the consequences of this be? Such a simple matter (though it dealt with complex themes) should not have had many consequences to begin with - Lyrial said herself at the most she would pass out...but what if it turned out Puffles was unable to contribute to the effort because of the nature of his existence? He sighed quietly, and waited for events to progress further before deciding on what he would do next.

OOC: No worries xD You still haven't beaten my several months of not replying.
Hmm...... Microsoft Fist appeals to me >=] There's a couple of people I'd like to try that with
BIC:
Zero purred at Simi's gesture, but a blush quickly followed and soon after an awkward cough.
"Yuh...it's kinda weird sometimes," he answered her previous comment, "'specially when yer two halves get to fightin...I mean that dun even make a lick o sense, ya know? I shouldn't be fightin with mahself, it's whacky due!"
The words 'whacky due' caught Simi off-guard and she giggled.
"So then you should know what the plan for the ship is then right?" Lyrial then asked Zero, and Simi turned in response to the spell-caster's voice. Puffles started to slightly shift nervously, and Simi cast a confused, concerned glance at his way.
Meanwhile, Zero was conversing with Lyrial. "Ahuh, I think so! Yer gonna stick it in space! Well, -a- space! Dimensional pockets and all that hubbub, bub! I got the gist of it...though it's wild you can do it without a single singularity pulse or oscillating gravitron wave to your name! You must be goooood!"
At once the sky-colored mare found herself losing her train of thoughts, and she blinked with dissapproval at herself. All those words again!
"...And those circles, I bet they're fer folks to stand in! Though, once they're innit...what do they do? Do we get ta dance? I haven't danced inna while!"
Simi turned her head, not wanting to interrupt the discussion with her sudden laughter. From the way it looked, those circles probably weren't for dancing. Though it would be fun prancing within such a pretty ring.....
