Name:
Rylannia Rainstar. Pronounced: Rye-Lan-Knee-Ah. Call Ryla for short by friends and family.

Species:
Wood Elf

Gender:
Female

Alliance:
Good

Age:
300

Mature Adult at Age:
125

Appearance:
Rylannia is a very beautiful she-elf. Her ears though pointed are rather dainty. She has long curly blonde hair that ends half way down her back. Her eyes are a deep brown that often look like pools of muddy water, they shift change to green when she is expressing deep emotions ((hatred, love, sadness, etc.)) She is often wearing her riding dress, which is a simple green dress, torn and ragged from travel and use. It's hemline ends about 12 inches abover her knees, and it is strapless. Faelyn thinks it is rather revealing. She had dark green tattoos that scroll in twists traveling up her legs, a family tradition once she reached maturity. She stands about 5'11" tall. She carries a bow and an quiver full of arrows around her shoulders, as well as a small sword on a jewel belt around her waist.

Personality:
Rylannia is sometimes called short-tempered, but more often than not she is a sweet. She is very passionate about those whom she cares about, and is a hopeless romantic. At the moment she feels broken, after the lost of her beloved Brynn.

Abilities:
She has impressive precision with a bow and arrow, and was the best marksman in her own country. She is also very skilled with her sword. She has the ability to talk with woodland animals, like birds and small mammals. She mostly uses this abilitiy to ask directions, and it comes in handy during strategic combat, as she can use them as spies. When She is also able to communicate by thought with Faelyn.

Disadvantages:
Since her strengths rely on combat, she has little knowledge in healing, and often requires Faelyn's herb lore for healing. Her ability to talk with woodland animals has no real disadvantages, the only problem she has, is that it is very difficult for her to talk with larger animals like wolves or big cats. This is merely a simple ability, as she cannot control animals. Commincating telepathically with Faelyn it uses alot of her concentation, making it easier for her to fall vunerable to sudden attacks. As the distance between them lengthens her connection with Faelyn becomes harder to accomplish, it is best when they are within sight of each other.

Weapons:

Rylannia made her own bow using wood from a sacred tree, once she had learned how to master the art. It was said to cast power over the weapon, adding to the bearer skills. She also learned how to create her own arrows, so that she would never need to worry about running out. Although she likes to conserve her arrows, becase the are quite timely to make. She is considered an expert in her field, and has almost perfect accuracy. She can take down all types of game, but her effectiveness depends on the size and speed. A creature that is larger or faster will take more arrows than one that is smaller or slower.

She uses her small sword in close proximity combat. Yet she is not as skilled, and often prefers to use her bow and arrow.

Family:
Both of her parents are deceased, but she does have a cousin whom is the heir to their country's throne.

History:
Rylannia was born with deep history, and seeded in a tragic story of love gone amiss. Her mother was not betrothed to her father, and their love was kept in secret from the family and the country. Rylannia was born deep in a forrest, a bastard child, true heir to the throne, but would never be given the chance. Her mother, an elf of most beautiful lengths, died shortly after child birth. Only three had witnessed the birth of Rylannia, her mother's companion, Silvermane, the King himself, and a servant of the courts.

The King, so distraught from the death of his beloved, sent Rylannia away to live with a lesser royal family. For it was said that Rylannia was the mirror image of her mother's beauty. And he could not bare to look upon her face. Ryla lived with this family until she was 8 years of age, until the castle that she lived in was destroyed by the Great Orge Wars that last much of a hundred years.

Wandering through the forest alone, she chanced upon Silvermane, whom had witnessed her birth, and knew the truth of whom she was. She wandered the land with him for much a year until he too fell victim to the orges, but not before he managed to bring her near enough the her father's city.

There she was taken back by her father, but still he chose not to tell her the truth. She was raised as a Lady of the Courts, although she was never much of a Lady. She often played with her cousin, and the young Brynn in the gardens, skipping her classes. The three were inseperable for many years, until each went their own ways.

Ryla's father fell ill, and died without telling Rylannia the truth surrounding her birth. Though he loved her very much, he could not bring himself to stir up a royal secret, which could put their fragile country to ruin.

It was also during this time that Rylannia was made companion to Faelyn, and in turn Dunlyn, was made companion to Brynn. It made it possible for Ryla and Brynn to be constantly near each other, as the twin unicorns were nearly inserperable.

Rylannia became an embassador of her country, Brynn studied to be a sorcerer, and her cousin was to be King of the Throne some day. Rylannia and Brynn began to fall in love from the friendship they had shared as children. She traveled with Brynn in search of a dragon that was pillaging their villages. On the day he proposed to her, he fell victim to that fabled dragon, and they their world forever. Both Dunlyn and Ryla were in deep denial and hurt from their loss. Faelyn, not as close to the elf shared some pain.

In trying to keep Rylannia from death of heartbreak, the new King sent Ryla on a quest to help the High Queen. It was here that Ryla found out the truth of her birth, and her deep heritage, and connections with many Royal family. Her bloodline had deep ties with many people.

During the great battle for their world, Rylannia was swept up by a darkness. And is now in her current predicament. She is ever searching for a way out, and for her companion, Faelyn.

Anything Else We Need to Know?:
Currently no one can interact with Rylannia, as she is in a different world. Maybe the occasional evil alliance. She will come into activity in future threads. The world she is in looks alot like when Frodo puts on the ring in LOTR, but alot more darker....and of course, no Sauron. Lol.

IC (In Character) Entrance:

Ryla ever walked through the dark shadow land that had been her home for many years now. In this hell, there was no light, no sun to shine down upon her skin. Her eyes held a green hew, they had been ever so since she came to this place, she was frightened.

She found it odd that no thrist crept in her throat, no pains of hunger entered her stomach, though it had been many years since she had either food or water. Sometimes she half wondered if she was dead. She had cut herself once with the edge of her sword, and had cursed when the pain hit, and blood weld up through her hand. No, she was not dead.

Sometimes she thought she heard Faelyn calling her name, but the female unicorn's voice was so far away. She tried calling back, her voice echoing in the abyss, but no one called back, she had never felt so alone in all her life. All she could do was walk among the shadowy shapes that reminded her of trees or mountains.

She just continued to walk, as she had done for a long long time.

Elesewhere ...

Many an hour had passed since she had been brought to this place. Naira sspected it was a little more than Fate. Terry was running earlier in the day. Running. From Something. Straight into the Wastes went the graveling, and Naira, confusion and suspicion arousing from the depths of a waterlogged mind, tore after him. The chase went on for hours. Neither stopped. How strange that the little creature known as Terry could go for so long without a breather. Was it him at all? It was so unlike the Graveling to be fleeing the scene of ... something or another ... without yelling or shouting or screaming of thrashing or carrying on.

It wasn't until his form dissipated into shadow out in the middle of the Wastes that Naira realized she had been had. By what? She did not know. An illusion, perhaps. Great longing or hunger or lack of sleep was usually the culprt of such hallucinations. Why should it be any different now? After all, did she not suffer from all three? Winter's cold weather meant poorer hunting. Her anxieties inspired insomnia. And above all else ... the strongest desire to find her living sister, who's existance was only real in the form of a blood-riiden, dead corpse ...

Down-trodden and weary, Naira turned around and headed back to Deep Forest. Silver talons plodded against the cold earth. Shoulders were slumped. It was too much of an effort to lift them. "I give ... " Her voice was even exhausted. Why the sudden urge to fall asleep here and now?
"We all change, when you think about it, we're all different people; all through our lives, and that's okay, that's good, you've gotta keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be."

OOC: I'll need help figuring out how to get Ryla out of the shadow land, she is. And someone of dark alliance I know will need to know where she is, so Faelyn can find out. Plus someone of dark alliance will have to be her captor...I've read up on the plotline...and I have absolutely no idea how to include her.

((OoC: You're welcome to ask for some assistance in Away From The Woods, but I'm not entirely sure if there are many active evils that can help. You may have to figure out some other means of release, or forgo the shadow realm in order to get her accepted if there are none that can rescue her. Good luck!))

Entropy had spotted Naira tearing out into the Wastes earlier. She hadn't followed her then, leaving the Reaver to her own business for once. The succubus had been given her own worry for the day, in the form of an ominous message left by some unknown person to meet them in another rarely-travelled place just outside the Forest.

She had, of course, suspected a trap the whole time. As it turned out, it had been Rekka who had left the message, as she had suspected. However, the meeting itself was still legitimate, as Rekka did not attempt to attack her. His intent was merely to inform her of something. Something that had Entropy worried now.

Now Entropy was looking for Naira. Searching for her rather desperately, in fact. Whatever was wrong, it was something that she couldn't take care of without the half-dragons help. She had begun by leaving the woods in the direction she had seen Naira go, and hoped that she would be able to catch up with her.

***

Meanwhile, in the darkness, two pairs of footsteps approached the elf as she wandered, belonging to a pair of menacing silhouettes, their features obscured almost completely by shadow. One was slightly shorter than her, carrying a sword and a dagger, and marked by a pair of wings on its back. The other was several inches shorter, seemed to be wearing a long coat and some sort of helmet on its head, and was carrying something over its shoulder.

"Greetings, once again," the taller creature said, voice cold and cruel, but sounding male. "It's been a while, has it not?"

"Got some good news for you today," said the other one, voice fairly high-pitched and feminine, but a bit raspy. "Ya get ta have some company here fer little bit."

The figure then dropped whatever it was she was holding onto the ground between herself and Rylannia. It seemed to be another female humanoid with a somewhat elven appearance, from what little could be made out. Stirred awake apparently, she let out a barely audible groan and tried to push herself back up, but her strength gave out before she could make any progress.

"Enjoy it while it lasts," the first creature said. "You may both outlive your usefulness fairly soon."

To accentuate his meaning, the shadow struck his two weapons together, grinding the knife down the longer blade to make a quick metallic noise. He then placed his hand on the other standing figure's shoulder, and they both disappeared suddenly into the darkness.

The creature on the ground stirred again, though only to look up at Rylannia, as she had given up on trying to rise.

"Where... where is this?" she asked, her voice sounding fairly young and currently reflecting reflecting her present condition of weakness.

Even that effort seemed to be too much for her, as she had to lay her head back down on the ground as soon as she had spoken.

Ryla was so shocked by the sudden apperance from her two captors that she was at loss for words. Her last contact with them had been so long ago that Rylannia could hardly remember what had taken place. She jumped back at the humanoid figure was dropped before her, but once she realized what it was her body relaxed. She would finally gain someone with whom to take up conversations. Ryla hadn't truly used her voice in ages, and she was not sure if she could even hold a conversation.

Just as Rylannia was about to speak, her captor's disappeared from her hellish dark world. And now she was left to care for her new companion. Ryla could only hope that this elf-human was friendly, and wouldn't turn wild once she realized where she truly was. Rylannia thought back to the first moment she had been brought here, she had frantically ran through the shadows, and cried until she could shed no more tears.

Ryla swooped down onto her knees to help the elf-human into a somewhat sitting position, mostly the elf-human's head and shoulders rested in Rylannia's lap. Ryla wished she had something that could help revive the poor creature, but she had little left from her previous life. "It is...alright, I do not truly...know where this... land is....but it is some shadow... void between worlds, or a world all... upon it's own." Her sentances were broken up, as she could barely speak. Her voice was hoarse and raspy, it no longer held it sweet sounding melody.

"My name....is Rylannia. What is...yours?" she added.

The walk was unremarkably silent. Gracefully quiet. Grateful for this strange act of compassion from nature, Nemo had turned her head so that she watched the snow-covered ground as she walked. Each step left a mark here, another there – claws and footprints in the shape of a large reptile. Remarkable … she never really noticed the difference until now. Having once been a human, the traces of her steps seemed so … alien. It took her a few moments to recognize them as her own.

With a tail thrashing, Naira headed south. Back to Deep Forest. She could see the trees lining the horizon, barely coming into view. It would be thirty or so minutes before she actually got there. Until then, her preoccupied mind had a lot to mull over. Failed rescue attempts and hallucinations. When would it end? A sigh escaped. She shuddered involuntarily, tugging the leather jacket tighter around herself …

And a figure was appearing in the distance, coming close, coming fast. Green eyes squinted. She could barely see the person … Ah, wings! The faint light of the sun reflected off silver skin. It had to be –

”Entropy!” Naira called, and she waved jovially. All sadness dissipated. ”What’s up?’

(OOC: Alright.

Faelyn, were you going to bring Faelyn (the unicorn) into this thread? Even though her joining thread is still going on, she can still enter other threads at the Edge.)

Entropy saw the figure of Naira approaching from ahead, but didn't actually know for certain that it was her until the half-dragon called her name. It seemed that the succubus' silvery skin made her easier to see than the normal tan color of Naira's human half. Entropy's exotic appearance was well-suited for the flashy world of demon aristocracy, but it had its potential drawbacks on the ground. Naira was Entropy's friend, of course, but not everybody was.

Once Entropy knew it was Naira approaching her, she thanked her lucky stars.

"Nay!" she called back, returning the wave, but her voice was not as happy as Naira's, reflecting instead the desperate state she was in. "I'm glad you're still here."

The news of what was up was going to be difficult to deliver, though. She hated that this was going to cause Naira's spirits to drop when they had just been raised, but the situation right now was very bad.

"Nei has been captured," the succubus blurted out grimly once she was a little closer. "Rekka's got her. He's holding her hostage, along with an elf he said was named Rylannia. They're in some place he called the 'Shadow Realm.' He wants me to give myself up in exchange for letting them go."

***

The elfish girl accepted Rylannia's help, going along with her as well as she had the strength to. Once she was resting in Rylannia's lap, she didn't move any more, though she listened to the explanation she was given of this place, and her new companion's introduction. Her heart was still beating quickly as if she was afraid, but she seemed to be calming down now, partly because of the comfort and partly because their captors had departed.

"I am... Nei..." she said tiredly a few moments after Rylannia asked for her name. She then slowly closed her eyes, and seemed for a few seconds like she may have drifted off to sleep. But then she spoke once again. "Rekka caught me... while I was sleeping."

Nei could feel some sort of poison coursing through her veins, sapping her strength. There wasn't a thing she could do about it, as she had no energy to use any of her healing abilities. The one good thing about it, though, was that she couldn't hear anything out of the Dark Core at the moment, as it seemed to be under the effects of the drug as well.

((OOC: Well, Faelyn needs to regain her strength at the moment before she can trek off in search of Rylannia. So it may take a while before I switch threads. But it will continue over to this once Faelyn has a little more strength..If I am not being a total Noob, and talking alien to you. Lol))

Ryla coughed as she attempted to clear her throat for better speech, she knew it would be awhile before her song-voice returned. Rylannia had been born with a beautiful voice, like a song-bird singing their morning songs. But the years in the Shadow World had taken her voice away from her.

" It is nice to....finally meet someone. I have been trapped....in here for a very long time now....I do not even know how many.....years," she muttered.
Her voice was beginning to improve even from such little talk, although the hoarseness was still stuck in her throat. " I take it, you know.....whom has imprisioned us."

Rylannia had never heard their names before, they had always just been her "captors" She just hoped that their words wouldn't come true any time soon, although she still mourned her lost beloved, she had no intentions of leaving this life behind. Oh, Faelyn, where are you?

"Kidnapped?" The word fell from Naira's mouth without motivation or hesitation. Watching Entropy as she drew near, her brow had furrowed into a thin line that told of horror and shock. And fear. Fear for Entropy, fear for Nei ... Mostly for Nei. The Newman was a kind thing. But she could easily be taken advantage of. And Rekka was not a friendly sport - who knew what he was capable of, or what he wanted to do?

There was brought upon her mind a terrible theory. Would Rekka want to kill Nei if it meant dragging Entropy from the bowels of Deep Forest? She shuddered at that. he hair along the back of her neck raised. Was the Incubus so inclined to seize the Succubus that he was willing to endanger anybody and everybody just to follow through with it, to make his master happy?

Claws flexed. Without knowing it, her hands clenched into fists. One or two fingers on each hand had assumed the appearance or a large red claw - part of her Reaver form that she was now able to fully control. Their manifestation indicated agitation on great levels.

"We can't just let you go to him, En ... " Her frown was bitter. "A rescue attempt sounds more like it - go in, get her, get out. Unless you were planning an ambush - surprise attack? You go up to Rekka, all voluntary-like, and I'll spring out from somewhere?" Looking around, she was confused. "Where's the Shadow Realm?" She thought briefly of Rishcath and shivered.
"We all change, when you think about it, we're all different people; all through our lives, and that's okay, that's good, you've gotta keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be."

(OOC: Well, you see... Faelyn does have to stay around in her own thread until she is accepted. However, the threads at the Edge can have the same character in more than one at the same time time because they can be set at different points in the timeline. This one, for example, could be assumed to be already happening a few days after Faelyn's joining thread.

Of course, you can still wait if you want.)

Where was the Shadow Realm?

"I... don't know..." Entropy replied. "All I've got on it is the name he gave me..."

She had hoped, somehow, that Naira would know. If she had, they could have just teleported straight there, grabbed the hostages, and gotten away. Now it was going to be complicated.

"I suppose you're right though," she said. "I can't just give in. He'd probably just... kill Nei anyway if I did that."

All that really limited their options.

"Of course, that's why I've been looking for you," she went on. "I wasn't really planning on giving up. Jumping him like that is probably our best bet."

Entropy then sighed again, though. Even having a plan wasn't enough to calm her nerves. There was nothing that could calm her where Rekka was involved, or when Nei was in danger. On top of that, there was always one more little problem...

"He does know all the tricks, though," the succubus pointed out. "We'd better go into this expecting him to be expecting us to do something like that, and be ready for anything he might have up his sleeve for us."

***

Nei knew a little bit about who had imprisoned them.

"That guy with the wings... is Rekka," Nei told the elf. "He's been... after my friend Entropy for a while. I don't know who the woman was, though. All I know about her is that... she... felt wrong."

Years... Rylannia had been in this place for that long? And by herself too, no less. Nei shuddered at that thought. That must have been a terrible thing to go through. Would the newman be in there for that long too? The threat Rekka had made to the elf may not have suggested that, but Nei wouldn't put it past him to have just been trying to intimidate her. For Nei's part, she wasn't sure if it would be worse to be killed or to be left here.

But she had to keep from giving into despair.

"We'll be out of here soon," she said, partly for Rylannia to hear and partly to hear it herself. "Entropy... or Naira... or maybe Scarlet... My friends. One of them will save us. I... just know it."

She... hoped so, anyway. If they couldn't... No. Her faith in her friends was all that would be able to keep her going here. The place had a certain... horror to it that was already eating away at the edges of her mind in a way that only a psionic would understand. The comfort of Life that filled Deep Forest was not present here. It all reminded her of the darkness she had fallen through before first seeing the light of the Forest, the darkness where she had been alone with the Creature in her mind.

At least she wasn't alone here, to face this darkness by herself. She would have fallen apart if she had been, perhaps even fallen to the Creature, once it recovered. In that sense, it was a good thing for her that Rylannia was here. But she never would have wished such a thing onto the elf, if it had been her choice.

((OOC: How long does it take the get an accepted character..... Okay, the reason why I wanted to end the first thread before continued on this one, was because I didn't know if anyone from that thread will end up helping Faelyn out in her search))

Rylannia listened intently to Nei, but when the half-elf came upon the word "friends" Ryla cringed. Her throat and chest became heavy as she pushed back the tears forming in her eyes. She turned away, as she did not wish to show weakness before a new creature. She had remained so strong in this place, defiying this darkness for so long that she couldn't let up now.

" I had friends once,"
she stated. " My companion Faelyn...may still be searching for me".

May?
The words she spoke anewed the hurtful feeling in Ryla's chest. Of course Faelyn was still searching for her, the sacred bond that they had made was unbreakable only by death. They were connected to each other's spirit, each intwined into another, that apart their spirit's were only half their potential.

" I hope your friends come....soon," added Ryla. " Although, I could not...imagine life out of this hell. I have not seen...the sun in so long."

Naira nodded. She was listening very intently, nodding after every sentence Entropy started was completed. Hesitation or no hesitation, they had to get this job done. Nei was in danger. Who knew what he was up to? Even if they were stepping into the fire-zone without donning the proper fire-protection gear ... A grimace. But the Shadow Realm ... The only reason she'd thought of Rishcath was because his evil ass was made entirely of the dark umbra. The actual dimension was beyond her telelportation abilities, only because she had never been there ... never seen it ...

Idly, she gnawed on one of the ruby claws that had been two of her fingers (now melded, solidified, and changed in color). Her sharp teeth carved grooves into the bone. They healed instantaneously. A moment passed in which she appeared to be staring into deep space. When the silence in her head was broken she opted to gaze at the Succubus with a brow quirked. Her claws dissipated, revealing normal human fingers, dainty but strong.

"A visual?" she asked, straining for a method of getting into the Realm. "No use of chilling here when we have to be somewhere else. I can teleport us there, but I need a clear visual. Do you have anything you could describe to me? The setting? The scenery? A picture? Anything?"

(OOC: Good enough reason, though I'm not certain if I'll be able to avoid having Naira and Entropy rescuing Rylannia on their own by then. I'll try, but these things take on a life of their own sometimes.

By what I've counted, getting accepted usually takes about twelve posts from each person in the thread once the mod says the profile is up to standard. That's just a rough estimate, though, and it can vary quite a bit.

On that note, it looks like you still need to edit Faelyn's profile with the changes you've made. I guess it may have been unclear, but you're supposed to edit the first post in her joining thread with that instead of posting the whole profile again.)

Entropy stared for a moment at those claws Nay was chewing on. In the past, she had usually only seen those come out in the most dire of situations. It struck her as a bit unusual now, seeming a bit casual by comparison.

She only dwelled on that for a moment, though, before returning her attention to the crisis at hand.

"I... haven't been there either..." she said, voice a bit quiet. "I mean, even if he had tried to show me the place, I wouldn't have gone there with him by myself, so I don't know what it looks like either..."

However, it wasn't like she was giving up completely.

"Actually, I think attacking Rekka directly the way you said is still probably the best idea," she suggested. "We just have to be expecting a tough fight, that's all. Thing is, he doesn't really seem like much of a mage, so I would expect that all the teleporting around he does is reliant on some sort of item he probably carries around. So if we can take him down, we might be able to pick it off of him and use it to get there."

Entropy really wasn't sure what the chances of actually being right about that were, but it was better than nothing. If it didn't work, the succubus would suggest that they go through that interdimensional void Naira had taken her through twice before. But remembering the creatures that had chased them both of those times, Entropy hoped it wouldn't come to that.

***

Though Rylannia had turned away, that alone was enough for Nei to figure out that she had said something to upset her. The way Rylannia spoke of friends clued her in as to what that was. As soon as that realization hit her, she began to feel guilty.

"Sorry..." Nei apologized.

Unfortunately, she didn't really know what else to say beyond that.

Could Nei also end up being in here for so long that she would forget what it was like to be free? That was a disturbing thought. Or would Rekka decide to kill her once Entropy was caught?

... No, Entropy wouldn't be caught. That thought was too much for Nei to accept. Too cruel of a possibility.

"You'll see the sun again," Nei assured her companion. "We both will."

Rylannia's neck felt hot as a rush of embarrasment filled her body. She had, had no intentions of gaining any sympathy from Nei. Once, she had asked sympathy of people, had craved for it like a wild hungry dog, because she had wanted to be sad then. She had made an excuse to cry over Brynn's death, but not here, not now.

In this hell though, sadness was merely a drain on the spirit that would lead to insanity.

"No, there is no need to feel sorry," said Rylannia.

Her words were flowing easily now, as the conversation between them removed the block on her voice. Still though it sounded as though she was sick in the throat, her voice rough with misuse.

She disliked her voice now, it reminded her nothing of herself.

"I have lost all hope," she said solemly. "I do not know if I can have faith in your friends. Too long has this dark void sucked and pulled at my spirit. I can think nothing but dark thoughts."

Ryla turned, her green eyes hiding away tears, her lip straight lined so that she could not show even a small hint of emotion.

"Are you feeling any better?" asked Rylannia, changing the subject.

Ohhh, this was not good.

Nei was stuck somewhere with the crazed bastard Rekka. Who knew what scheme he was up to. And they had no idea how to get there. Entropy had never seen the palce, and Naira couldn't teleport without having a mental visual in her head - else they would be transported to the cold, bitter darkness of between. Pacing back and forth now, the half-dragon was rubbing the bridge of her nose, trying to think, trying to figure out ...

"We're stuck," she mumbled under her breath. "Completely stuck ... "

But then Entropy mentioned the possibility of Rekka carting about an item. Nemo's head shot up at that. Mouth forming into an 'o', she looked at the Succubus with, at first, a gaze of bewdilerment. Then excitement.

"Good idea!" She practically bounced, hands clapping together. "Where did you last see him? It'd be a good idea to scope out the last place he was at."

"Last place I saw him..." Entropy started to reply, "is where I just came from. It's sort of a little cave under some rocks just outside the woods. It's... kind of hard to spot, though. I guess I'd better show you the way there."

That had been Entropy's intention all along, of course. She didn't know whether Naira would have ever seen the place she was going, as it was a bit out of the way, but teleporting there might alert Rekka to the fact that Naira was coming along. Not that she really expected to surprise him, but there wasn't any sense in being too open.

"No sense staying around here, anyway," she said.

Acting on that statement, Entropy rose a bit into the air and began drifting away southwards, fairly quickly but not too much for Naira to follow.

***

Nothing but dark thoughts... Nei let out a sigh at that. Whether Rylannia wanted her sympathy or not, Nei felt sorry for her. She didn't doubt that this place had been as hellish as the elf had said, especially with her having been her by herself all this time. Nei might not have even lasted five minutes, as far as she knew.

She wanted to offer the woman some sort of comfort, but... something told her it wouldn't be welcome. She seemed to be fighting to keep from letting any sort of emotion show. Poking at that bubble the woman had made around herself might just burst it, and Nei wasn't wanting to make things harder for her. Maybe if they were there long enough, Rylannia might become more comfortable with her, and maybe open up a little. The newman thought that she needed to give her time, though.

Once Rylannia asked if the newman was feeling any better, Nei tried for a moment to push herself back up off the ground. It was a struggle to gain any headway, as she just seemed to lack any strength at all. After that, she let out another sigh.

"I don't... seem to be getting any better yet," she answered. "There's some kind of poison... in my blood. I think I'm going to be like this for a while."

((OoC:
((OOC: How long does it take the get an accepted character..... Okay, the reason why I wanted to end the first thread before continued on this one, was because I didn't know if anyone from that thread will end up helping Faelyn out in her search))
This depends primarily on the author's post count in a joining thread, and the profiles status. There is no definitive time after which a profile is accepted. Because the Edge is out of the primary time line, however, you can be more flexible with your plot and who is involved, even if the first thread has not yet finished. The first thread could have been months or weeks before this one In Character, in which case the characters involved may have already moved on even if the thread isn't complete. It may be safe to assume that no other characters have assisted Faelyn in her search until determined otherwise. It gives you lots of room to be flexible.
Since her strengths rely on combat, she has little knowledge in healing, and often requires Faelyn's herb lore for healing.
To lack knowledge is not a disadvantage. You may leave this in her disadvantages, however.
She has impressive precision with a bow and arrow, and was the best marksman in her own country. She is also very skilled with her sword.
If you would to put her in a class of experience for her bow and sword, what would they be?

What's the range of her bow? What type beasts is it best used upon (small game, medium game, large game)? Does she make her own arrows?
She has the ability to talk with woodland animals, like birds and small mammals.
Can she greatly influence animals through other means than talk when using telepathy? Ex, make them do her bidding, even if it's against their will or natural instincts?
When commincating telepathically with Faelyn it uses alot of her concentation, making it easier for her to fall vunerable to sudden attacks.
I believe you mentioned there was a range limit to this as well, in Faelyns profile? I may be mistaken, but if there is you'll want to add that to this profile as well.

If you should edit anything substantial, please highlight any modifications in another color or bold them so they may be found easily. We do check profiles periodically for edits, but if you would like attention immediately please contact FoxDragon or me through a private message. If you should have questions at any time please don't hesitate to ask them of us! We will do our best to assist you.))

OoC
I will not be leaving this thread just yet. Please see Deep Forest Spirit for more information.

Taking off at the given point in roleplay will be rather troublesome. Luxon has asked me to remain and help, and for him and Faelyn I will do so.
