(yay action!)
Kory couldn’t help but laugh in delight as he felt the small gryphon push up against his hand and guide him to the places she really wanted rubbed and scratched. He was more than happy to oblige and quickly set his long, nimble fingers to work. Watching her talons kneed the snow beneath her, the elf was suddenly reminded of his old pet cat and the thought brought a smile to his face. Another laugh burst past his lips when she absently answered his earlier question before instructing him on where to scratch next. She was so cute, how could he say no? “Yes ma’am,” he chuckled as he moved his hand farther back to give her head a good scratch.
Must be hard not having hands, he thought as he continued to give her a full head and neck massage/scratching. Those talons of hers probably couldn’t do a good job of scratching and her hind legs probably could only go so far.
He was smoothing down the feathers over one spot, when a sudden howl from the forest stopped him cold. Wolves, and they sounded very close. However, surely they were not a threat to the two of them. Kory had always been under the impression that wolf packs tended to avoid creatures like himself, and he couldn’t really see them attacking a gryphon, even one as small as this young lady; she had too many formidable weapons to make hunting her worth their while. But it is winter, he thought, looking around them nervously, ears and eyes seeking the beasts’ locations. Kory hadn’t seen a lot of game since winter hit and he knew that hunger could make animals do things they wouldn’t normally attempt. Was it possible that he and Taka were the target or were the wolves simply passing through the area?
Just a moment after he thought that, the pack came out of hiding. Korendil’s breath hitched in his throat when he spun around, only to find that the two of them were surrounded. He swallowed as he eyed the snarling canine whose eyes were locked on him. The elf could practically see what the animal was thinking in those fierce eyes. It was gauging him, trying to figure out the best way, the best time to take him down. As he tensed, the ex-slave concentrated on the magic inside him, bringing it to the surface so he could use it the moment things turned ugly.
What on earth— he wondered as he picked up the clang of someone moving around in armor. Kory wanted to turn and see who was coming their way- hopefully it was someone who could help them, the pack was not a small one- but knew that the moment he took his eyes off the wolves around him they would strike.
"GORRAMMIT! See!? This is what happens when you don't learn!"
That was the very last thing that Kory had been expecting, but he wasn’t given long to think about it. As Juno attacked one of the wolves, another jumped at Taka while yet another leaped at him. Kory created a spear of ice in his hands just in time to stop the canine’s jaws from clamping down on his throat. The beast snarled as it bit down on the pole of ice holding its mouth at bay. Never having been one endowed with a lot of strength, Korendil found himself struggling to keep the wolf away. His boots slid in the snow and his knees threatened to buckle as the animal pushed at him with its full weight. The elf was just about to attempt to throw him off to the side when another jumped at him from his right. Kory quickly released the spear and dove to the side, narrowly avoiding another set of claws and teeth. Thankfully, as the landed in the snow, he had the foresight to create a shield, which saved him from yet another attack. The third wolf pushed down on the shield, jaw snapping hungrily, seeking out his neck as he tried to find the strength to push it off. Finally, when he realized he probably didn’t have the strength to accomplish that, Kory took a deep breath and blew a flurry of snow into the beast’s face. Startled, it jumped back, giving Kory the chance to spear it in the chest with a blade of ice.
The wolf didn’t die instantly, but did fall to the ground, bleeding profusely. Korendil’s heart almost broke at the sight- he had only killed one creature before in his entire life and now he was about to send another to its death- but yet again he wasn’t given long to think. After reabsorbing the shield, he formed another spear in his hands, which he used to knock away the first wolf as it jumped at him again. Unfortunately, a second wolf used that moment of distraction to attack him from behind. Kory let out a cry of pain as the wolf’s jaws clamped down on his arm, dragging him down to the snow. He struggled to get away as flashes of pain shot up and down his arm, but the teeth held firm and only dug in further the more he fought. Finally, panic quickly setting in, Kory formed a blade in his hand and buried it deep into the animal’s leg. With a yelp, it released him and jumped back. Blood flowed down the elf’s arm staining his new coat as he quickly scrambled to his feet. Taking advantage of the momentary lull in fighting, he looked around to see how the other two were faring.

Taka heard the howl, too, her ears twitched as Kory smoothed her feathers. She closed her eyes, concentrating on the wind to gather more information. She cracked open her beak a little to draw the scents off the wind. 'Three... four... five... there's a lot... Coming from... left... right... all around... hmmm...' Her wings twitched as she considered what to do. She could fly away... but, she wasn't sure she could carry her new friend, and she couldn't very well just leave him here.
But, there were a lot. She knew she could fight off a few, but... Well, it was usually pretty easy to figure out which one was the Alpha, if she could take him out, the rest of the pack should take off... unless they were just too hungry and still thought they could make a kill. As she contemplated, the wolves made themselves visible. Taka's muscles tensed and her hackles bristled as her wings shifted out to a usable size. She wasn't intending to leave, but it would make her look bigger and she could use them to dive bomb if it was needed.
"GORRAMMIT! See!? This is what happens when you don't learn!"
Taka clicked her beak in surprise as the armored, pink-haired guy rushed back on the scene. While she was momentarily distracted by him, a couple wolves tried to jump her from behind. She whirled to face them, but one was intercepted by Kory's ice lance and she nearly bit Juno's arm as he shoved his shield in front of her to deflect the other. Being blocked off from the wolves by the two larger men, Taka crouched down, taking a moment to survey the formation and attempt to identify the alpha.
As she did, Kory became the apparent new target. Wolves lunged at him from every direction. He seemed to be using ice magic to deflect them. He badly injured one after he had conjured himself a shield. Once he had, he stared at it, as though regretting his attack, 'Ah! Don't stop!' Taka thought as she rushed to him, 'They want to do the same to you!'
She jumped on the injured wolf and used her wickedly curved beak to tear the creature's throat out, putting it out of it's misery. She let it drop in the now as Kory cried out in pain. He had two more wolves on him! One had him by the arm from behind. She screamed, a vicious cry somewhere between the scream of a hawk and the roar of a lion. Her pupils contracted and she lunged at the creature attached to her new friend's arm. Its throat was protected against his body, but she clung to its back, biting its neck and clawing at its underside, tearing at its throat and chest. She left many long slashes on its belly, none quite deep enough or in the right places to kill it, but it hurt enough to release its grip on Kory's arm when he struck its leg. The wolf yelped, walking backwards, snapping at the air as it tried to dislodge its rider.
As it did, it left its throat unprotected and Taka moved in a flash, snaking her beak around and sinking its sharp tip into the fleshy throat. She pecked at it, searching for the all-important jugular vein, the one that would end it in one hit. As she searched, another wolf lunged at her, trying to knock her off its packmate's back. She hissed at the new attacker and flared her wings, her tail thrashing. She growled low in her throat and kicked at the new wolf. Her hind paws didn't have much power to injure, but hopefully she could keep it at bay without exposing herself to more attacks.

"Ai Ya!" Juno shouted as he went about pummeling the wolves that were trying to reach Taka and Kory, now that they could smell the elf blood it would only redouble their effors on making him prey. He was injured simple as that, and would probably be the easiest to take down.
After a few rounds of clocking wolves with blunt trauma they seemed to figure out that attacking the one in armor probably wasn't the best idea and began focusing on their main target, Kory.
Of course they wern't counting on fireballs. Or rather one large constant jet of flame.
"EAT NAPALM!" Juno yelled as flames roared out the barrel of his 'lancer' effectively scorching the wolf that Taka had kicked away and proceeded in scaring off most of the wolves, causing their circle to press further back.
After they had left far enough Juno had turned around to face Kory.
"You alright, pansy?" He asked with a playful smirk, he began to work on finding some bandages to treat kory's wound when suddenly Juno was tackled.
"What th-"
A rather large, tan coated wolf, probably twice as large as Taka. Had rushed in with the rest of the pack following. With a fury he had ran right Into Juno with the speed of a small car and flung the Neko like a rag doll into a tree.
And behind him? A few of the larger memebers of the pack, they circled off Taka and Kory, while the Alpha male took on Juno alone.
"Did anyone get the number of the bus that hit me?" Juno asked weakly as he was a little hit on head crazy for the moment. But then came the obecessive mauling.

Korendil gritted his teeth and gripped his arm- hoping that even a few moments of pressure might help to stop the bleeding a little bit- as he looked around. To his relief, things seemed to be going pretty well for his companions. Even though Taka was close to the same size as the wolves, she was doing a very good job of fighting them. Her wicked claws and beak injured one wolf after another, slicing and tearing through fur and flesh as though they were nothing. Thankfully, she killed the one that he had left alive. Though Kory doubted the wolf would have been a threat after his attack, seeing it squirming around in pain while it died relatively slowly had been terrible; at least now the creature was out of its misery.
Though he didn’t know what to think of the pink haired being or why he had come back to help them, Kory was relieved to see that Juno also seemed to be fairing rather well. The feline pounded at the wolves like the warrior he was and from what Kory could see he didn’t believe that the man was harmed anywhere. Unfortunately, he couldn’t say the same for himself, and he quickly noticed something that made him grow pale. Whether because he was hurt or because he was simply not as much of a threat as the other two- perhaps it was a combination of both- most of the wolves were beginning to turn toward him, a hungry look in their eyes that made him gulp.
Even though it sent agonizing flashes of pain through his entire arm, the elf raised both hands, prepared to fight despite logic telling him he probably couldn’t win against so many. Perhaps if he could just hold them at bay long enough for the other two to help…
"EAT NAPALM!"
Flames suddenly erupted around them, scorching a few of the wolves and causing the bulk of them to move away in fright. Kory as well jumped back a bit, more than a little startled until he saw Juno turn to him, an impish grin on his face. “My hero...” he replied managing to form a small, lopsided smile in return. “Thank you for—” Kory didn’t get to finish. A tan blur was all he saw as a large beast, what had to be the pack leader, tackled Juno, sending the petite warrior flying into a tree with a crack that would have made the elf wince had he not been so surprised.
The wolves were clearly more starved than Kory thought, the fact that they were still around despite the knowledge that a few of their members were down for the count proved that. Would they have to kill them all or was there still a chance that they might be able to scare them off? The leader was huge and the ones joining it were not much smaller; fighting them wouldnt be easy. Korendil started to look around to find Taka- the three of them had to get together if they wanted to avoid being completely cut off- but he barely caught sight of her before one of the wolves lunged at him.
Kory cursed as he jumped out of the way, narrowly missing the creature’s gaping maw. When he heard Juno’s weak question, he took a quick moment to glance over at him. Trying to use his distraction against him, two more wolves began making their way over to him. Though it put his head at a great deal of risk, Kory crouched down and placed his hands on the snow in front of him. A bead of sweat began forming on his brow as the snow around his hands suddenly turned to slick ice that spread away from him in a half circle. Before they knew it, the two canines suddenly found themselves fighting a loosing battle to stay on their feet.
It worked, he thought in relief. Staying in a crouch, he moved so that he could place a hand pointing toward Juno and a hand pointing toward Taka. After a moment of concentration, the snow leading toward them suddenly turned into ice as well, though he did his best to leave the snow beneath his companions alone. Hopefully that would help them a little. Once that was complete, Kory stood and sent a blade of ice flying toward the leader. Perhaps if they could kill that beast, the others would leave.

FWOOM! Taka jumped a little as Juno torched a few wolves. That weird thing of his always made loud noises! And, apparently, it breathed fire. He came closer to them, Taka's ears laid back. That thing might be scaring off the wolves, but she didn't care much for it, either. During the lull of the battle, Taka peered over at Kory's arm. She could heal that fairly easily. It was a little deep, but didn't look broken. She took a step towards him and flinched as a tan blur smashed the strange-guy-with-the-noisy-thing into a tree. Taka's hackles and the fur on her tail stood up on end and she hissed. She stepped towards it, growling, and noticed the other wolves had tightened their circle around her and Kory once again, cutting them off.
She could fly over them, but that would leave Kory isolated and he was wounded... and she liked him better. Let him learn his own "lessons." The wolves surrounding her were larger than her, but she flared her wings and arched her back, hissing and circling, trying to keep an eye on all of them at once. She heard Juno mutter something deliriously, maybe he would need help, after all.
Then, the wolves surrounding her began to slip and dance. She blinked, noticing a donut-area around her had turned to slick ice. She lifted her head, looking around, noticing Kory holding his hand in her direction. Had he done that? Well, that helped a bit, but she wouldn't have footing, either if she tried to fight them now. As she watched, Kory attacked the large, tan wolf with his ice magic. 'Ah!' she though, 'Of course! The Alpha male!' She'd been looking for him. Where had he been hiding? It would have been difficult to miss a beast as large as he.
She flapped her wings and used them to leap over magically-created slick ice and the astonished wolves still trying to find footing on it. She lunged at the Alpha, sinking her talons into its back and biting down on its neck, attempting to ride it like the previous wolf she had fought. She didn't anticipate it being so much stronger, though! He bellowed and reared up, throwing her off. She hit the slick ice surrounding Juno and slid, her chin making a hard CRACK as it slammed into the surface.
Stars burst in front of her eyes as she slid to a stop next to Juno, making incoherent trills and mewls.

((Since you're not replying, jah... things shall continue as normal... Sorry.))
"Ow! Offfa! THat's not supposed to bend that way!"
Juno yelled as the creature prepared to maul him... then suddnely there was a grow as it stopped and Juno looked dizzily up at his attaker as it flung taka right next to him. WHere she proceeded to make random noises...
In his pained vision he could see Kory sitll being somewhat safe... and the reaosn why the creature growled... the ice in his back... This distraction is all that Juno needed.
He stood up slightly wounded. A scrach here, a cut there... but in his hands he held his sword...
"Look away." He mentioned to Taka
and then time steemed to stop. Or rather everything stoppped execpt for Juno. Sword in hand he moved quickly, one moment he was in font of the of the wolf... the next?
Well to anyone who was looking at him the whole time they would have seen the following.
First, Just him and the injured wolf.
The next Just him and and puddle of blood where the wolf should of been... And in his hand... the still beating heart.
when time returned back to normal the wolves that were looking didn't react. They just stood, stunned.
And Juno himself just fainted then and there on the snow... now was the time for the others to turn battle or perish.

For a few minutes, it seemed as though his ice was helping. The wolves were having little success keeping their footing, which prevented them from leaping at the three companions to try to finish them off. Many were growling in frustration and the image might have been funny had the situation not been so serious. Unfortunately, to Korendil’s dismay, he forgot to put one thing into his calculation, Taka moving around. He cringed as he watched her attack the alpha dog, only to be thrown off, slide on his ice, and slam her chin into the ground with an audible crack. Guilty and alarmed, Kory quickly placed his hand on the ground and dissipated his spell, all the while cursing himself and his stupidity.
The elf grew increasingly nervous as he watched the canines climb back to their feet, anger replacing their frustration and confusion from before. The alpha. We must kill the alpha, or this may never end, he thought, firing a flurry of snow at the wolves near him to blind them temporarily while he turned to help his comrades finish off the leader. To his relief, Juno seemed to have recovered from the previous attack, for the feline had his sword raised and ready to attack. Kory, unfortunately, did not get the warning that Taka got, so he witnessed every bit of Juno’s final kill. It happened so fast he wasn’t really sure what he saw, all he knew was that one moment the two were facing off and the next Juno stood alone, blood dripping off the heart pulsating in his hand.
For a few moments, time seemed to stop as all the fighters stared at the victor. Then the enchantment broke, and the pink haired warrior fell to the ground. Fearing that his fall would start another round of attacks, Kory quickly turned toward the wolves closest to him. However, fortune seemed to finally decide to smile upon them. After witnessing the defeat of their leader, the wolves seemed to realize how large their damages were and retreated. Within moments they were gone, leaving the three of them alone with the carnage left behind.
Kory stood where he was for a moment, not sure what to think, before he suddenly sagged against the tree next to him. All his energy seemed to drain out of him at once, leaving him physically and mentally exhausted. Though he might not have done much, the young elf was not used to fighting. Now that he wasn’t concentrating on staying alive, the pain in his arm seemed to triple, forcing a small groan of pain from his lips. I have to see if they’re alright. Juno most certainly was worse off and Kory wasn’t sure what damage Taka had sustained. Gripping his arm to try to still the blood seeping out of it, the elf walked over to Juno and dropped to his knees beside him. Just as he was about to check him to see how bad his injuries were, his gaze fell upon the heart lying beside him.
All at once, images of the bloodshed from the battle flooded his mind. His own arm torn, wolves stuck with blades of ice or shredded from Taka’s claws, the one wolf squirming on the ground from his attack until the gryphon put it out of its memory, and finally the sight of Juno standing with the heart in his hand, still pounding with its last few moments of life. Though he didn’t mean to, Kory glanced over at the battlefield. Bodies lay strewn about and the snow, that had been so pristine and white a few minutes back, was now muddied and red. The elf’s face turned a sickly shade of green and the next thing he knew he was a few feet away, leaning over a bush, and emptying onto the ground what felt like everything he had ever eaten in his entire life. Even once his stomach was empty, he continued to heave as tears formed at the corners of his eyes.

The pink-haired creature said something, but Taka's ears were ringing and she didn't hear. Her eyes were slightly glazed and she was too dulled to even try and follow what happened next, anyway. She shook her head, getting dizzily to her feet as the wolf pack abandoned the field. Stars danced before her eyes and she closed them until her head stopped feeling so light. Once she could open them without reeling, she looked at the fallen figure next to her. He was clutching a heart in his hand and appeared to be unconscious.
Taka checked to make sure he was breathing and that he still had a pulse. She closed her eyes and a breeze picked up, swirling over Juno's body. She waved her talons over him and panted softly, the wind sparkled as it touched his skin, healing most of his minor scrapes and bruises. She was about to try and see if he had any more dire injuries, but her head began to pound and she released the magic wind, unable to hold it with her concentration.
She rubbed her temple with the pad of a talon and looked around for the elf. He was crouched over a nearby bush. She carefully and slowly picked her way across the ice and snow to his side. Taka closed her eyes again and breathed deeply for a moment to clear her head while she summoned a slightly stronger healing breeze for the wound on his arm. She swallowed hard as is finished, picking up the scent of his tears and listening to his soft sobs. If only she could magically heal his heart as well. She whimpered softly and nudged his shoulder with her head, rubbing against him like a cat. She purred softly, trying to comfort him.
Her head swam with pain and things she wanted to say to him. Luckily she couldn't focus enough on any single thought long enough to convey them to him, because nothing she could say would likely help at this moment. Instead, she lay silently against him for a minute and slowly drifted off to sleep to allow her body to heal its own injuries naturally.

Sorry I was late))
The Elven/human woman watched from the trees, her vivid sapphire eyes wide.
She was quite beautiful.
Tall at 6'2", her hair was the most striking thing about her.
It tumbled in tendrils of dark, molten flame colors.
Cinnimon, gold, copper, bronze, honey, amber, chestnut, sorrel, light
auburn, blood bay sparks stood out vividly against the wintery
scene.
Her eyes were blue. So vivid a blue. Deep in their depths, silver
starlight flickered with intelligence, wariness, curiosity, slight fear,
and infinate stubborness.
Her face was angelic, with high cheek bone, sharp, straight nose,
high, arched brows, full lips.
Her neck was long, slim. Her fingers long, slender, but powerful,
rested warily on the hilt of her longsword.
She wore only one piece of jewelry: An onyx pendant. Carved carefully,
painstakingly into a winged stallion. The carving was so well done, it
seemed to breathe.
Her clothing, however, was unsuited for this season.
Tight doeskin breeches, tall, black, leather riding boots, and a loose
white silk shirt.
A slight shiver could be seen if one looked closely enough.
Briena stared at the Elven man. It couldn't be.
He couldn't be Browen. Browen was dead.
Briena trembled. Then she caught a glimpse of the man's eyes...
Blue. Not blue-black.
She felt her heart return to it's normal beat.
Now she took in the rest of the scene before her.
Blood reddened snow, wolves, slashed, dead. And another male with...
She blinked.
Pink hair?
The cat ears that peeked from said hair told her 'Neko.'
She heard the unmistakable sounds of stomach contents being
lost, and the sounds of tears.
She noticed the third being then.
Briena's eyes flickered in curiosity. She wasn't sure what this one was.
She scented cautiously at the breeze.
The smell of blood over ran her senses and she coughed, grimacing.
Briena decided to rely on sight to figure out what the female was.
She saw a few feline characteristics. Tail and fur.
And bird characteristics: Wings, beak.
She watched some more.
Then stepped cautiously into full view.
"May I lend a hand?"
Her voice was musical, sweet and pure but tinged with wary nervousness.
Her eyes were on the Elven man.
But only for a moment.
She quickly turned her eyes to the female.

((Its fine, stuff happens))
During the arrival of the genetically combined person, Juno had been healled but magically he was still spent. This however didn't stop his back pocket from playing a small themeas he spent his time recovering on the ground.
He mumbled something about "...if lions could fly" and "Why is all the rum gone?" and "but why did the egg come first?" but regarless he was still KO'ed.
Magically however, during and after taka's healing his scrapes seemed to vanish on their own, being healed at a slower pace than her magics, but still relatively quickly...
but then... a voice...
"May I lend a hand?"
"Tend to the wou-" Was Juno's reply as he lay, starting to come around before something inturupted him.
"You may, but if you start clapping you can kindly f*** off." Came the rude reply from the shield at Juno's side. The angry little skull shield which seemed to be the only one that had the gull to still be angry after battle.
"Come off it, Alex. It's just some one wanting to help." Replied the neko, starting to gather strenth just on anger alone.
"Yes..." Replied the skull looking over Briena over with his sockets. "And just by looking at her, probably in more ways than one. Reee-ooorrwww..." the skull pured at the elf-hybrid flirataiously, but this was shortly replaced by the sound of shileld being forced face down into the snow and the muffled yells of "Uncle! Uncle! I take it back!"

The cold seeping through his pants as he continued to kneel in the snow helped Kory to ground himself so that he didn’t get completely lost in the images, but he couldn’t fully fight them, his guilt, or his disgust back. I killed them, the elf though as he gripped the tree beside him to steady himself and gasped for air in between dry heaves. His stomach was beginning to hurt from the constant cramping, but every time he thought of the wolves he’d helped to kill, the nausea returned. I killed them, and that one, I…I tortured it. I didn’t mean to, but I…but I did. If Taka hadn’t…then it would have… Kory felt a warm tear slide down his cheek and this time the heave that followed the image was half a sob.
The creature hadn’t deserved that, none of them had. They weren’t evil. They hadn’t been planning on enslaving him or torturing him or anything like that. They had wanted to eat him simply because they were carnivores and it was the only way for them to survive. He wouldn’t have given himself to them, but he hadn’t even tried to come up with a way to defend himself without harming them. He’d been too focused on surviving and he was ashamed of that, not to mention disgusted. Only once before had he ever killed another creature. Now that he thought back to it, he realized it hadn’t bothered him as much as this, but to be fair he’d been too completely and utterly relieved to be alive and free to think too much about the dust that had dirtied his clothes after he’d staked the vampire lunging at him. This time he’d had to watch them bleed and see the pain in their eyes when the injuries didn’t kill them.
The elf probably would have stayed where he was if it weren’t for two things: Taka’s help and a sudden presence that joined them. Kory looked up in surprise when he felt the pain in his arm suddenly begin to subside. He could see a strange breeze encircling it and after a moment he realized the healing was coming from Taka. Though the trail they left behind remained on his cheek, the tears stopped as she rubbed her head comfortingly against his shoulder. The gesture was so kind, it made him want to throw his arms around her. However, she was injured as well and he could see she was about to fall asleep where she was standing. Sure enough, a moment later the small gryphon laid down and seemed to fall asleep as soon as she closed her eyes.
"May I lend a hand?"
Kory jumped and his gaze quickly flew to the woman. He watched her for but a moment before his cheeks flushed and he quickly turned away to wipe his mouth on the back of his hand. The young elf gathered up a handful of clean down, stuffed it into his mouth, and then spit it out to remove some of the grime his nausea had left behind. He repeated the process until his mouth felt relatively clean, and then he reached up to mop at his eyes with his sleeve. “Thank you, my friend,” Kory whispered quietly to Taka as he reached down to stroke her head. With a wave of his other hand, he sent the dirtied snow away from her. Once he was sure it was far enough away that she would not have to smell it while she rested, he stood up.
The elf kept his head down as he approached the others, both in hopes of hiding his eyes and avoiding theirs. As he listened to the skull and its owner bicker, he glanced back and forth between Taka and Juno, unsure who needed his help more. After a moment of indecision, he turned toward the newcomer, head still bowed. “Y-yes. I…well uh…w-whatever you can do,” he replied awkwardly before he knelt down beside Juno. “How…are you feeling?” Perhaps a dumb question, but it looked like Taka had gotten to him as well so most of his outer injuries appeared to be healed. That didn’t mean, however, that everything was fine, especially if Juno’s random comments were anything to go by.

Taka murmured softly as Kory thanked her, not really hearing him, but responding from her sleep. It was nothing intelligible. She slid to the ground and curled up in the snow as he cleaned up and then left to check on Juno.
((OoC: Sorry it's short XD But she's sleeping. Not much for her to do.))

Briena stepped forward, her strides long and fluid. Graceful.
She went to the smallest of the three first, and knelt at her head.
Briena touched the female's head, her touch healing any wounds
that there might be.
Then she turned to the Neko, as he seemed to be a wee bit ... er...
odd.
She didn't even blink an eye at the skull's first remark to her...
But the second... Well... she barked a laugh, then Shifted into a huge wolf.
"Don't make me mad. You can't make me mad unless
you harm my friends or family. As I have no living relatives,
you are lucky on that account."
Her speech was vocal, from her mouth... (Like in Balto )...
She Shifted back and knelt by the Neko, who seemed at least enough
in his right mind to attempt smothering the skull in the snow.
A soft smile curved her lips as she bent to the Neko. She gently pushed
him to his back if had risen.
"I suggest you don't move a moment, aye?"
She closed her eyes, touching the Neko's head as she had the female's.
She suspected mild concusion.
Though, this Neko could just be a bit weird on a regular basis.
Morgan was. ... Morgan.
:-:Shut the memories out.:-:
Her touch did it's job-Hopefully- And she turned to the Elven man.
This was the moment she had worried about. While Briena wasn't usualy
fearful of things, she was fearful of frightening this man. He was the only
Elf she'd seen in nearly four days.
"Do you require healing, sir?"
She was hesitant.
(( Juno I really don't want to repeat myself again, but;
In the roleplaying saying that he is the only 'real' character on the board is wrong. Him believing it, but being just as real as everyone else is fine. He will be considered crazy but for a UV character that is normal. Deep Forest is real just as its inhabitants. He is in a real world once he steps foot on the Edge not a digital one.

Deep Forest is not the internet. There is no God on a computer. Each character has their own spiritual beliefs. If Juno wants to believe that then he can, but the forest is not some web page. This site is the web page not the roleplay. He is not a virus for the forest. If we roleplayed here like it was an Episode of Billy and Mandy where the characters are self aware then he still couldn't be a virus because there are two options for that. God-modding because everyone is screwed depending on the virus or firewall/virus protection and he couldn't get in because he'd be deleted.07 Mar 2008 00:44NO. This is a world, not a server. This is with living creatures not pixels and random bits of memory. This world is not a computer nor does it occur within one. He is not data here, he is a living creature. If you want to be that way then you need find a sci-fi roleplay. This is Gaeva's creation, Deep Forest and the world we have all come to know as the site Unicorn's Visions. Not yours. This is not a .Hack// roleplay or game. There are no players once you get into a thread only characters. They are not bits of data in THIS WORLD. We do not exist to them other then in the forms of gods or fate.Think of everything as a gigantic computer with internet.
In order for HIM to be a piece of data or virus as you keep referring to him as he will have to be stuck in a computer and this is a Fantasy roleplay. The only computers are those that belong to the roaming spaceships here. Technology that he requires to be does not exist here. If that doesn't exist here then Juno is unable to exist here.

"Do you require healing, sir?"
Alexander, the skull on the shield somewhat in a state of being forced intot the snow had managed to comment to the elven womans statment.
"I... I think... I'm dying... I may need mouth to mouth!"
Of course this was one gigantic bluff... but hey the skull couldn't miss a chance to hit on an attractive girl.

Kory watched in fascination as the elven woman moved from one injured fighter to the next, somehow managing to heal whatever wounds were left by simply touching them. Because he knew how much of a struggle it was to control his own magic, Kory knew that it was probably much harder than it appeared. It was fascinating really. He could create ice where he needed it, but healing was something else. To think that a creature was able to speed up the healing process, making things that could take weeks to heal on their own suddenly heal in a matter of moments was incredible. It was a gift he wished he had. True, Kory was learning some medicinal practices, but he was still a novice and had Taka and this woman been unable to heal, he wouldn’t have known what to do; he would have felt helpless.
When Briena had finished healing Taka, Korendil gaze stayed on the little gryphon for a few moments as he smiled to himself. The elf had seen a few gryphons over the past few years and knew she was small for her kind, even if she still looked plenty big compared to him. She was a brave little thing. Unlike him, she had shown nothing but courage during that fight and even though she had been hurt and exhausted afterwards, she had still helped him and Juno. He was going to have to do something for her whenever this was all over.
"Do you require healing, sir?"
Since she had already tended to the other two, Kory knew without looking up that the question was directed at him, but the skull piped up before he could even open his mouth to respond. A small, amused smile curled his lips as he shook his head in disbelief. Well, the stories told to him when he was little always had a character that was there for comedy relief and clearly this shield was to be theirs. “Uh….n-no ma’am,” he politely replied to Briena. It was strange to hear someone refer to him as ‘sir’ again. Years ago he had expected it from many of the elves in his city because of his class, but now it just felt odd to be called that. “My friend h-has seen to me.”
Korendil glanced up at the other elf through his bangs before quickly looking back down, still too embarrassed to be seen with red, puffy eyes, especially by his own kind. It was more difficult to hide his face from Juno, who was below him, but he did his best as he looked down at the neko. “You…came back. I-I don’t understand, but…thank you. Do you think you can move now? Th-the cold can’t be good for either of you, even if you are healed now.”

Taka rested a little while longer after being healed by Bri. When she finally decided to come to, she stretched and yawned, shrinking her wings back down to a more manageable size. They always seemed to get in the way at full span. She shook her head, fluffing her feathers as she surveyed the immediate area.
There was a female elf here now, she seemed to be a little shy as she addressed Kory. The other elf, for his part, seemed upset but physically alright. He replied to the female elf, but was keeping himself apart--almost ignoring her purposefully as he tended instead to the crazy pink-haired guy with the smart-mouth shield.
The tiny gryphon got to her feet, kicking the snow out of her short, rust-tawny fur. She shivered a little as a breeze penetrated her coat. She wasn't really a winter creature, her coat didn't get as thick as many other beasts who were adapted to season changes. "Is... is everyone alright?" She glanced at the leftover wolf carcasses briefly, but didn't pay them too much attention.
She turned towards Kory and Juno and opened her beak to speak again, but then paused and closed it again, blinking in mild confusion, "You know what? We never introduced ourselves..." She shook her head again, ears flicking. They were still ringing a bit from when she hit her head, "Anyway, I'm Taka."
