Remember that signing up for a duel means very little planning for you intitially -- you just sign up your characrer for a duel. The committe will do the hard work of pairing you with someone, as well as telling the two of you what type of duel you will be having. A duel does not always mean combat either I imagine.

Yea... a drinking contest! If Rotor got into that, though, you'd have to put gasoline in his mug in order to get him drunk. Thoee or Deen? Nah, wouldn't work... alcohol has no effect on their biology, though drinking it would make them pee a lot. Pretty much the same thing for Roose, though he would be relaxed by it, most likely to the point of sleep, if he tried to drink too much. Only Tiffin would end up thoroughly soused in such a scenario... with Flycker present, there would probably be some embarrassing moments.

Ohmigosh exciting! I have maaaaaany questions for thou. ^^

- What are the deadlines for signing up for events/voting?

- What's the deadline for the OOC art contest?

- Do you have an idea of how long the festival is going to last in terms of RL hours/days?

- I assume you're going to let everyone know of all these deadlines in advance, and when the festival is actually going to start and finish? =P


I'm asking all this because I reeeeally want to join in with everything but I'm a slow poster as it is, and I'm busy with uni work at the moment, so I need to know if there's any point in me entering an event specifically - it depends on how much time I have to write everything. When I know the deadlines I can work out how much I can join in with...

I'm not Gaeva, but I think I know the answers to these questions, Gaeva correct me if I'm wrong.

-- Deadlines: Deadline is when enough people are engaged in the thing I would think, so I would suggest not waiting for it -- sign up / vote as quickly as you can. Exact starting time is probably hard to know until she knows how big the interest is (it seems to be big so far).

-- OOC Art contest deadline is when the festival ends I would think.

-- How long it will take depends on how many people are willing to participate with events or duels. As said in the announcement, each such event/duel will be post-limited, and probably RL-time-limited too, to prevent slow event posters from holding everyone up. The festival is meant as a short and quick moving thing. A month? Two? Very hard to tell.

-- I'm sure deadlines will be announced ahead of time.

If you need a lot of time to prepare, I suggest you telling Gaeva this when you apply, maybe your allocation of posts for your event and/or duel partner can be handed out faster to you? I don't know thogh, you have to talk to her.

And given Tiffin's history, he'd be an emotional drunk, and mayhaps a bit too over-frisky. Kinda like a juiced up teenager, or something like that. Personally, I don't want to see him drunk, either. If Flycker is fiesty when she's drunk, Tiffin would most likely end up with his nuts handed to him on a platter...

... hope they never get drunk at the same time!
