Trees, trees everywhere, all kinds of different trees. For most the first place they set foot in when arriving in these lands, a welcoming safe haven that provides food, water and shelter from the elements. Just kind of quiet, why are there so few animals here?

Long, healthy, green grass grows on endlessly rolling hills. A place to find delicious food for herbivores, a place to find easy prey for carnivores. Also great to just pick a hill to stand on and shout into the wind.

A large area covered by a multitude of different pine trees. They lead to the other two forests, the mountains, the hills and the sea, you just have to make your way to where you want to go.

As normal the rest of the forests seem, as weird this area looks like. Giant behemoth trees grown far above every other canopy. They can best be described as tall Live Oaks, their sturdy long branches growing sideways as well as upwards, and sturdy enough to support a unicorn.

Nothing reaches as high as the mountains, the tallest peaks carrying snow even in summer time. But even so the eye will be drawn to that one oddity, that one that is referred to as "The" Mountain. From a distance it looks like a volcano, from up close...it still looks like a volcano, but it isn't. A conveniently smooth path leads up to it's edge, and one can easily make their way inside the water filled crater for further exploration as well. This water is one of the main sources of life for the rest of these lands and while spectacular waterfall rush out of the crater, there are many more rivers that start their journey in here.

The mountains come to abrupt end at these cliffs, rock towering over the sea, looking like they'll topple into the water at any moment. The cliffs are covered in sharp edges and peaks, though many caves of different sizes can be found all over the place as well. Just be careful when standing on top: the wind blows fiercely and doesn't care whether you have wings or not.

Protected by the mountains on one side, and the sea on the other side, this makes for a perfect place to relax and unwind, maybe build a sand castle or go swimming. Unless of course you remember you're also trapped by the mountains on one side, and the sea on the other, with no way to run except straight into the mist...

It looks like normal, yet rather high reaching mist, except it never goes away, never seems to move as the cold tendrils of condensation float about. Sometimes someone decides to go and see what is hidden here, some of them return with disappointing stories of just more and more trees. Other come running back out with tales of fear. Yet even more simply do never return. Did they find something better? Or did they reach the end of their journey inside these mists?
